I've not played "you," I only played your "friend" the other day. Been playing COD4 since my friends code list has been offline pretty much all day, probably since the Nintendont servers have sucked.
 
I swear, I'm always the one who usually gets the Smash Balls. Then I play against lilboo, and they just seem to gravitate towards him. Am I missing something?

Riyo, one of these days, we're going to have a lag-free match, then we'll settle things, just you wait.

Nope. I picked Samus and it showed as Pokemon Trainer.
After that I couldn't move, and I proceeded to watch Crimson battle 2 opponents, but still managing to die twice. :lol:

I need to get even better with Lucas.
 
Oh Beef, VM and JFD.. Sorry about earlier!! I did 2 accidents.. :rofl: One I quit by mistake, then instead of saying "No!" I hit "Yes" because there was a damn lag. :roll: Ugh.

Just curious, what color do I come up as? I'm pretty sure my connection is pretty good, but who knows. Someone inform me what color I am ^_^

No, you played me, we were on that level with the Parasite Queen, and it had the Metroid Fusion music playing..

Actually with you I don't recall any lag. Minor delays, but that's nothing. There's a few people whom I know I play with and it gets laggy. Like 3 people, my experience online so far has been great in terms of lag. Just the same few people.. :whistle2:k

So I wonder why I'm red? Is there anything I can do to change that..?
Maybe we just live further away? :whistle2:s

I don't care, since most of matches are usually without lag. Until a few people come in and ruin everything :lol:

've not been on all day. I was on at lunch for like 5 minutes, but sat in a waiting room. Then I got a chance to check the list at 4 but nobody was on. I'll be on later to brawl, soon as this group quits COD4'ing.

My best matches, connection-wise, have always been Veronica Mars, JFD, and you, so I'm not complaining. Things got better in my recent games with Strell, though. Normal sized lag, which was cool. I think it records your first encounter, then has the orb be colored based on that.

You know, it's weird. You show up as "red" to me, but any match with you in it has maybe only a few slow downs upon the stage loading, but no lag during the game. I don't know why it shows up that way though.

People have to have your Brawl friend code and your Wii system code to send you stages and replays.
 
If there were *at least* these 3 things, I would say this game would be amazing (Well, the Wifi mode that is!)

-I don't care about voice chat. If we had it, great. It's not, oh wel. But I wish we had some form of way to communicate---even if you could just send a quick message. Even if it's like limited to 80 characters. Something. So you can ask someone if they wanna play, or send a "Good game!" or "Sorry, had to leave!"..instead of having to come here and doing all that.

-There should be team battles WITH friends. Yeah you can do that on "WITH ANYONE" but it'd be great if you could do 2 on 2 battles with friends.

-Why can't we play our custom stages online?

See. I'm not complaining, but these are small valid suggestions. Anyone else agree?

you need to have the person on your wii firend list to send, not just brawl. I added you to mine, add me and i can send you a lvl i made. Its kinda lame, but still.

I need some help. Im trying to get 100% in story mode and the only level other than "The Great Maze" that i didnt collect everything is "The Cave" level. You will notice if you get everything since it will show a crown instead of a flag. Does anyone know of any special trophys that are secret in "the cave" level that i might be missing?

1. Very true. Being able to send a message to someone would be great. Still you can get general Wii messages while playing Brawl, one of my friends sent me one while I was playing (and I believe it was during single player) and the LED on my disk drive lit up.

2. I didn't even know that you couldn't do that. Not being able to set up teams in friend games is pretty stupid.

3. Since stage file sizes are so small I suppose it would be possible to send someone your stage before the game started, but I'm sure Nintendo doesn't want people to make stages with blocks that spell out" fuck You" or something like that, which is why custom stages aren't allowed online. Still it would be cool if we could play on custom stages with friends.

I like to minimize randomness which is why I play the whole 1v1 no items deal... I like it when things are skill-based.

Different strokes for different folks, I suppose, but someone thought it felt exactly like Melee and I beg to differ...
 
Speaking of custom maps. Putting a dropping block over spikes, then enclosing the sides makes that 5000 coin trophy easy to get in a few mins. Bowser is up to 7000 coins for me.

The great maze just made me mad! I wanted to unlock Sonic, and I knew i was RIGHT...AT...THE...END.... then I have to beat everyone and everything again. But I got through it.
 
Finish both Allstar and Boss mode for all characters. It's time to finish those target practices, 100 man brawl and fill the remaining challenges. Anybody know how to get those hammers that break certain challenges? I I'm no where close for those 30,50 and 100 hours of brawl challenges.

Makes the tedious task of getting stickers and music much easier. This is a much more advanced way of doing it, but there's a ton of youtube videos about this "CD Factory" business.

EDIT: And damn fine games, DMNKY. That Kirby/Wario match was damn close!
 
Yeah, good games Rig. That Kirby/Wario match was intense. You definitely got screwed out of that final smash when the stage lowered though, and I'm surprised that it didn't suck me in anyway.

Also, your Lucas is badass, really enjoyed that fight as well.
 
I'm sure this has been answered in this thread somewhere, but I can't seem to find the answer.

How do you know when someone is registered as a friend? Several people PMed me on CAG that they added me and I then added them, but it still shows "Awaiting registration". One name always has a red dot, but there is nothing for the other names.

So do you need both a SSBB friend and a Wii Friend code or just the SSBB code? Does the awaiting registration go away when that person logs in again?

Maybe blackbird can put the FC registration process in the first post for anyone else who is confused about it like me.

Just how far away from Nintendo are you?
I was hoping mine would be here for the weekend, but it's looking unlikely right now. I sent mine on monday, and they got it on wednesday... so far, the repair site hasn't been updated for me at all other than to let me know it's been recieved. I guess I'll have to wait until monday or tuesday now.
