His TV should be his chapionship belt. If you beat him you get the TV.

GGs tonight to Maigo, Rig, and Strell. I am now going to switch to Mario Kart for about a half-hour, if anyone would like to follow suit.
 
Good games to Strell and Arikado. I don't think I played anyone else, but here I am, at 6am, wondering where the time went.
 
zitanix you are one crazy mofo. I'm in college and I get tired by midnight, but then again, I'm up at 8 or 9 every morning. Different schedules = me missing out on precious CAG Brawl time.
 
I need to start playing Brawl again later on - Mario Kart's been eating my free time.

What's up with the disconnects? I have no idea how Nintendo's servers are set up, but I can't help but wonder if the influx of traffic from people who just bought Mario Kart might be affecting Brawl.

Simply put, we may be able to get rid of random tripping, bring back L-cancelling, increase hitstun, etc.

You know, no offense to those guys since I'm sure they've put in a lot of work to this, but it seems like that all "smashboards" wants is Melee 2.0.

I happen to like Brawl because it's not Melee just simply rehashed (although, I could do without the tripping...)
 
Man oh man, do I suck with Zelda. Meant to hit Sheik, but thought I'd let Zelda have a match after making the mistake. And Sheik is powerless against her counterpart (but great against Ike :p).

EDIT: Oh, and Maigo, sorry for the Sheik death. My dog was eating something, and I had to get it.
 
GG's Joe, sorry I don't have access to my comp when I'm playing brawl or else I would've let others in (maybe, I really wanted to 1v1 against you ;))

Definitely very even in terms of skill, I'd say it all boils down to the stage when its D3 and Lucario

Edit: I was pretty ticked off after you 3 stocked my young link :(

No problemo, I SD'd anyways to even things out

But I'm in favour of this project. Dropping the random trip thing is the most obvious benefit, but making the game harder to turtle in is a Very Good Thing. Anyone who's played Starcraft - or any RTS - and had an opponent turtle up rather than surrender when obvious outmatched knows how fucking annoying that shit can get. With the hitstun and shield mechanics as they are, turtling is too viable an option. If changing them around makes the game more Melee-like, then so be it. I don't want to go back to Melee. My Brawl main isn't even in Melee. But keeping Brawl "pure" for the sake of being notMelee is silly (not accusing you of wanting this).
