SRK member "Laugh" (as notorious_pip) mentioned, is selling inPin converters straight from Korea. It's about $27 shipped for one (I just ordered mine over the weekend). Just PM him and he will give you all the information to purchase one.

Pelican's are great but are discontinued. Demand is high and for the cost of getting even just one Pelican Converter, you can purchase 2 inPin converters. Luckily I got one Pelican when they were first released via a local Gamestop store.

can anyone recommend a good fighting stick for this and does anyone know if there will be a wireless fighting stick coming for the ps3?

I doubt you'll see a mass produced wireless stick anytime soon. As for a recommendation, what price range are you looking for? The SFIV sticks that are coming out look to be the new hotness for premades.

arn't the new sfiv sticks made by mad catz? i'm willing to spend about 50-100 for a good arcade stick. i hope some wireless ones will come up, my current set up could do much damage to my ps3 if the cord gets yanked. :x

I tried Remix last night with a friend but whenever one of us hosts a match, the other person joining cannot talk or hear the host talk. It didn't matter who hosted the match. We'd turn on voice chat and it would show the hosts voice being picked up but the other person couldn't chat or hear the host talk at all?

well I've finally actually gotten the game. If anyone wants to play a total noob feel free to add me. PSN is genfuyung.

brighenne I added you.

Just played my first online game against a ryu who must've thrown 40 hadoukens and when he knocked me down he would get close to my body and spam shoryukens...awesome.

And the 2nd match was against some fuck using akuma and just spamming a jump kick and leg sweep over and over...cant wait to play with some CAGs who arent bitches.
Anyone know of a website or anything to learn the game a bit better?
This wiki http://shoryuken.com/wiki/index.php?title=Super_Street_Fighter_2_Turbo#The_Y oga_Book_Hyper will provide you with the basics of the game as well as strategy and match ups. It's based on the original ST, so you'll have to factor in the changes made to HD Remix.

http://www.eventhubs.com/guides/200...hd-remix-strategy-guide-moves-hints-and-tips/ is somewhat of a strategy guide for HD Remix. It lists all the changes from ST to STHD and some basic strats for the characters. It's unfinished right now, though, so some of the character pages may only have a movelist and changes from ST to STHD.

The Sirlin tutorial vids from the CCC2 are really good at showing you how to play as well.

Here's a translation to the Super Turbo Yoga Book Hyper http://www.neoempire.com/forum/showthread.php?t=614 It's not quite as useful without the actual book that gives you pictures of hitboxes and such, but I guess you could just go by this translation and use the hitbox trainer in HD Remix's training mode. This one is also based on the original ST.

http://forums.shoryuken.com/forumdisplay.php?f=280 is SRK's HD Remix forum. You can go in there and read over the thread for your character and ask questions.

After you get the basics down, you should check out vids of tournament players, play other people, and analyze your game.

I tried a private match with 3 friends and none of us can get a match working with voice? You always just see your own mic flashing when you're host but that's it. Is there a setting we missed? WTF?!?
Thanks a ton notorious.
No problem. I'm glad I could help. We should get some matches on sometime once you get your game down.

I'm usually on fairly late at night these days, busy with family in town. I'm on around midnight EST and play a couple of games before sleeping. If anyone wants to play, feel free to add me. psn: rataxico
Finally got a PS3 and got STHD as my first PS3 game.

Hey I actually won a few games online today. Maybe I'm not as bad at this game as I assumed I was. If you guys have any tournaments or fight nights while I'm on winter break I'll try to join you.

I understand (or from what I heard), there was only one CAG night for this game. Anyway, I'm just giving a suggestion here, because I'd REALLY like for this game to be strong at CAG.

For now, I feel we shouldn't worry about a tournament for a CAG night on Saturday or Sunday. We should have two hosts (or just one, depending upon how many want to play). If we have two hosts, split up between serious and casual. One person will host casual and the other will host serious. Up to 5 invites will be sent, and you all just play regular games together (no tournament, just a winner keeps playing until he loses, and if people want to drop out and leave, they can). I feel we should at least do that for a CAG night, just to get people at CAG playing SFII together. Then eventually, there can be a specialized tournament arranged.

Looks like the OP is going to have to update my info. I finally coughed up money to buy another headset. I was going to play, but then I figured "playing without a headset" would be boring. Due to my work schedule, I tend to be around after 1am eastern. Tues and Wed I'm off, so I might be able to come in during prime time.
ggs asianxcore, was plenty of fun. Haha, dang, we played 35 games.
Time flies. GG's all around!

Also you got a lot better compared to the last time we played. :)

Controlling that space with Sagat. Annoying Chun tick throws

GGs bobo. I'm still working on not being terrible...shoryuken motion is so hard for me.

Edit-let me know if you ended up beating frico

GGs last night, thanks for the invite KenpachiExodia, and sorry bobo and crimson for missing your invites from the past couple of nights, I didn't even notice them til last night, but they were from before...
See you all later

ggs smallwind. Your cammy is incredible. All I could really do was spam tiger shots...

I never knew her cannon spike could create so much pressure.

Sorry mdamore for ditching your tourny, I was playing smallwind after I got eliminated in the first round. Shortening bars isn't exactly fun to watch.

Just got this yesterday with a PSN card I got for Christmas...I suck bad!

Add me and we can play...I have a headset.

PSN: blackjaw

I dont remember being this bad when I was playing this back in the arcades in the 90s. Damn. Anywhere to get a decent joystick for the PS3?

Over $100 = wait for SFIV TE Stick
Under $100 = wait for SFIV regular stick
Right now for cheap = SCIV stick at Gamestop
Try to get luck and get a Hori Fighting Stick 3 from Gamestop if you decide to get the SC IV stick. Its the same minus artwork and was $20 cheaper when Goomba found one for me.

You get what you pay for. I dunno the quality of the MC sticks first hand though. The FS3/SC4 stick is great I think for entry level.

edit: ggs dallow and ghostface. Was fun.
