edit: blah, I have a bunch of work I should get cracking on now before I end up working on it til 5am. if anyone is willing to show me the ropes a bit (I use Dudley so if you have any Dudley skillz that would be ideal) or you stink like me and just want to play, i'll be around tomorrow in the day and evening.

Yes. The way it works is you add CAG Fighter IV to your friends list. Then you view that GT profile, then View Friends. From there you should see all the CAGs that are on the list. Message anyone that you wanna play with. CAG Fighter IV won't ever be online, it's only a silver GT.

GGs to everyone that joined last night. It was awesome to have a full room there for a while (even if it seemed like an eternity between matches, lol). Hopefully we'll have a lot of regular get togethers leading up to Marvel 3.
 
Great games to everyone last night! We haven't had a full lobby in a very long time. My S-Rank DeeJay was probably the most annoying thing in the world. I was proud to see that The Saikyo style was strong yesterday. ;)

I sent out invites to everyone who was playing SSFIV on CAG FIGHTER IV, but it looks like I missed a few of the new people here. I might be playing for a little tonight, so I'll check this thread and send out invites. If you see me online through CAG FIGHTER IV, send me an invite too!
 
Shoutouts to all the people that showed up Wednesday. It seems like we're getting a pretty regular group again. Hopefully that will lead over to Marvel next month.

Oh and I know I wasn't the only one thinking it, so I'm just gunna come right out and say it.....

Hahah, I'll openly admit that the one character I hate fighting most is Blanka. Ken has no punish for Blanka balls outside of the corner. But games were definitely good last Wednesday. Lots of fun, as always.

Yeah, I'm not a fan of that match with any character. FISTINFACE has a really annoying Blanka - but an annoying Blanka is the sign of a good Blanka ;).

Looking forward to getting some games in tomorrow.

Just send a Friend Request to the gamertag CAG FIGHTER IV.

Once MtlTom, who manages that gamertag, accepts you as a friend, you can now use it to check out others who are playing at any given time. When you're itching for a game, just pop in Super Street Fighter IV, check out CAG FIGHTER IV's profile, and hit "View Friends", and send out some invites.

We get together every wednesday at around 9:00pm EST, so if you don't get an invite, just send a message to one of us. I'm pretty much always down for some games, even if I'm playing/watching something else, so feel free to send an invite my way.
 
I learn something about myself every time I play fighting games, I learn everyday (that kensei will never stop being a jerk) and that I've never played MVC2 the way is was meant to be played. ( I still never use assists)

my brain can only process so much at once.
 
too be fair, my exposure to MVC2 was playing it at my friends house in middle school against like two other friends, and when it was released on XBLA...

I played way more SSFII and Tekken, so using assists just blows my fragile little mind.

(these are my excuses, you will accept them)

Also, Im watching that WestCoast Warzone money match, and jesus fucken god raping christ, I'm glad MVC3 is a brand new game, this shit is beyond insane.
 
I really hope one of the two spots is Urien.....

Evil Ryu & Oni both look interesting. It's a little weird that Oni plays more like Gouken & E. Ryu plays more like Akuma. Surprisingly they look pretty well balanced.

north of the bottom-right-most character. Actually Elena has silver hair and she's Kenyan. That girl is Dhalsim's wife... looks like my girl too... the stage with her and her two sisters looks almost exactly like my girl and her two sisters lol.
