Mr. Woodcock- The previews made it look a lot better than it really is

The Kingdom- Not bad, it was entertaining and that's the main thing I want from a movie so I'm happy.

dude.......se7en....... is .....fantastic.
i really enjoyed saw and its sequel, the third was garbage.
first one felt very fresh, if you like it check out saw 2.

The Assassination of Jesse James by the Coward Robert Ford. One of the best movies I have ever seen in my life. It got a pretty limited release, so if you can find it, go and see it NOW!

I watched American Beauty last night, not the first time I watche dit, but it is still an amazing movie.

I saw The Squid and the Whale last week, that's a good movie. The little child is so screwed up! :)

30 Days of Night - Absolutely kicks ass! Truly a killer movie. The best vampire flick I have ever seen. I highly recommend that people go out and watch this flick and let it have some money. I really want to see a sequel, and not one of those direct to DVD types of sequels.

Hide and Creep - Pretty much garbage. One step above Uwe Boll crap..meaning a 2. You might like it if you are into zombie flicks/B horror movies, but it doesn't really have much going for it. Some cute scenes I guess.
The Darjeeling Limited 9.5/10

My new favorite movie of 2007.
I'm still looking for a place in my area that has this film :cry::cry::cry::cry: I so wanted to see it since I'm a huge fan of Wes Anderson and have seen all of his movies up until now. I loved seeing the Life Aquatic in theatre.

Do you know if it is going to go wide at all? I haven't seen this one playing anywhere around here, and that's usually a very rare and strange occurence.

Just saw The Nightmare Before Christmas 3-D. The 3-D effect was pretty cool.

Its amazing that that movie is 15 years old but still manages get a lot of people to the theater.

I don't believe so.

Okay I'm going to see The Assassination... tonight because I've heard so many good things about it.

I saw 30 days of night which I'd say is a great vampire flick, but only an above average horror movie. It had one really cool aerial shot of the town where people were scrambling and shotguns were going off.

Also I decided to make a top 10 list from what I've seen so far this year(had to shift some movies around and take some off):
1. Ratatouille
2. Sunshine
3. The Darjeeling Limited
4. 3:10 to Yuma
5. Michael Clayton
6. The Bourne Ultimatum
7. Hot Fuzz
8. Shoot 'Em Up
9. Superbad
10.Grindhouse
30 Days of Night. I liked it, the ending was kind of stupid though...
Spoiler me if you don't mind as I'm never going to see it anyway.

the last movie I saw in theaters was Resident Evil: Extinction.

If you look at the movie as a trilogy and take out any thoughts of the game, it's really good and follows along with where the last movie ended. if you take the games into account, not so much.

If they took out all the psychic powers and superhuman bullshit, the movies would have almost been good, but everytime Alice did something like that I couldn't help but roll my eyes and want to stop watching.

As zombie movies they are ok (the first movie was pretty good IMO), but just as a movie they fail.

Agreed!
It was good but it wasn't all that scary.

Well not really a movie, but a 16 minute short film.

everything will be ok (Don Hertzfeldt)

Got the DVD in the mail the other day and I've watched it twice so far, hilarious like his other films (Rejected, Billy's Balloon, etc.)

The Assassination of Jesse James by the Coward Robert Ford was pretty good. First time really noticing Casey Affleck but he put on a damn good performance.

"Apocolypse Now:Redux" I was a fan of Joseph Conrads Book heart of Darkness and I like the comparison, great fucken chaotic movie.
This one. I enjoyed it.
I enjoyed it too.

I was a little disappointed that it wasn't about a space voyage across the universe filled with aliens and lasers and stuff, but I got over it.

You too, huh? :D

Dawn of the Dead
Transformers. I expected it to be good, but instead it completely kicked ass! :)
Special effects-wise maybe... it was decent, better than the cheesy animated 80's flick

As for myself Ratatouille... AWESOME!!!!!
POTC: COTBP... awesome blu ray, will watch the second tomorrow night
