Most interesting news of the Capcom stuff:
Bionic Commando Rearmed 2: Nathan Spencer returns as a daring, elite soldier equipped with special bionic abilities. In the sequel to 2008’s retro-flavored sidescroller, Spencer will have to face his greatest challenge yet as General Sabio, a new technologically sophisticated foe, is on the brink of launching a deadly missile attack. In addition to his trademark bionic grappling hook used to traverse lush new environments, Nathan Spencer has upgraded his abilities to include the much requested jump move. Bionic Commando Rearmed 2 is headed to Xbox LIVE® and PlayStation®Store in Q1 2011.

Thanks to 15% bing cashback I just ordered an ultra portable. The Acer 1810, 11.6" screen, su4100, 320 HD, 4GB Ram, Windoes 7 64bit and just around 7.5 hours of battery for $500 after BCB

I was hoping to spend only $400 but for a hundred more I got 2 vs 4GB of ram, 2 extra hours of battery life, and a larger hard drive. I think that's okay.

The hardest part was deciding between red and blue. I know blue would be a safe choice but the red looked snazzy and it's not a feminine red. I went with red because it's different. Hope I don't regret that.

I spent a little more than I wanted but I got a little more.

Can't do it tonight. Parents are flying in from florida and need to pick them up. But my dad just called and said their plane was delayed three hours. They were supposed to get in at 7:30 and nowe they probably won't arrive until 9:30 to 10.

I did(well not middle school), I was a pokemon fan ever since Red and Blue, although I was only about 7 at the time so I wasn't really good at the game.
But once Gold and Silver came out I was constantly playing it and starting the game over and playing it again, by then I was old enough to actually understand the game, that generation was my favorite.

I think I've only played Red...never bought another Pokemon game after that. I'm tempted by the newest ones...also the upcoming Black & White seem pretty cool.
 
I don't see the draw about them especially the card craze. If I am going to collect valuable trading cards I at least want my favorite sports star on it, not a holographic cartoon with flames coming out of an orifice.

Also I never owned a GameBoy.

Also Also that style game play is lame in my eyes. Same reason I never liked Final Fantasy and so on.

I know, I was just messing around. I'm 99% sure I won't get the new Pokemon...I haven't gotten any since Red. Also, like you I'm not a fan of turn-based gameplay, never understood why that genre became so popular.

(loud)"How much time do you spend working on the computer?"... "Oh about 2 hours a day. Just long enough to check out some porn"... (loud)"It says 'WORKIN' on a computer, not 'FUNIN AROUND' on the computer"

Everyone, including the other patients in the waiting room were all laughing so hard we had tears running down our faces.
