Target coupon- 5 dollars off 25 dollar purchase

This thread is for clearance-- not for sale items, or raincheck "scams." Price reductions for clearance seem to happen on Monday, although not every Monday. Target often donates its older clearance titles to Goodwill stores, so keep that in mind when you're trying to find items. Some info from BigDirty: "Further reduction is possible when a game's price ends with 8 cents. However, when it ends in 4 cents it will NOT drop anymore. If it ends in 9 cents, it's just on sale or on a non-clearance reduction."

When posting deals, please include city, state, store, game, system and price. For example:
Mesa, AZ Power Road at Superstition Springs
Super Soup Soufflé, Xbox 360, $4.98

Special thanks to Mephitical for this great tool for locating clearance titles which is located here. Go to Amazon or Target to find the item's ASIN. When you find it, replace "B000O3IS48" in the URL with your item's ASIN. This will take you to a page asking you for your zip code. Type in your zip code and click enter-- this will display a list of local stores and whether or not they have your item in stock. YMMV on it working properly.

Here is a fairly easy way to check if your local Target has the games on clearance-- often games will not be tagged correctly. Thanks to BigDirty for this:
1) Go to Half.com or a similar site. Search for the game to locate its UPC code number. It's in the gray box underneath the box art graphic.
2) Go to UPC Data ,Milk.com , or UPC Database and enter the code so you can print out the UPC. Go to Target and use the price scanners to scan your printouts.

Remember, the lowest known price will be posted since the listed item could be higher or lower at your store. Here are the current deals:

Back on topic, none of the Targets I've been to have Call Of Juarez marked for clearance even though all other reported games are marked including 360 games in the glass case with CoJ. Haven't found an employee to scan it yet.

Cool, picked up one of these too. It's Mad Catz, and it's wired, which isn't great, but it's decent as a backup.

On the plus side, it works as a Windows gamepad, too. : )

I had a $10 GC so all this for $30 and change was not too bad!

Good news, the games that went clearance last week are now 50% off. I picked up Titan Quest Expansion for 10$, the number of games on clearance is 10-20 titles, so it's worth stopping by. I will of course place the game in my car trunk, just in case it goes down further (and I find a copy at the 75% off price).

In that case I just return the higher priced copy

Console accessories didn't drop and current games such as Call of Juarez and Godfather 360 didn't drop, however, one shelf on the endcap with budget games was marked clearance and all of the games on it had 13.98 clearance tags. It was mostly:

I'm still seeing 50% here in Richmond, maybe Tuesday or Wednesday they go 75%. Either of the GTA titles are GREAT on the PC. Huge improvement over console versions.

The Columbus, OH Easton store has PC games down to 75% off. They console games and accessories have largely stuck to their 25% or 50% spots, but the PC games all got knocked down. Of note: Titan Quest, the Titan Quest expansion, Darwinia (2.50), lots I can't remember.

I saw a huge assortment of last-gen games dropped by 30%. Xbox titles, Ps2, Gamecube, and a few current generation titles. Looks like the Target clearance cycle is heating back up!

PC games still 50%...grrrr.

I'm not quite sure what happened at my target but the entire endcap of PS2, GBA, Xbox & GC Games as well as a few scattered older 360 games has completely disappeared only to be replaced with a Windows Vista display.

The games aren't to be found anywhere in the store. I can only hope they were taken to the back for mark downs and will show up on the floor later.
