This thread is for clearance-- not for sale items, or raincheck "scams." Price reductions for clearance seem to happen on Monday, although not every Monday. Target often donates its older clearance titles to Goodwill stores, so keep that in mind when you're trying to find items. Some info from BigDirty: "Further reduction is possible when a game's price ends with 8 cents. However, when it ends in 4 cents it will NOT drop anymore. If it ends in 9 cents, it's just on sale or on a non-clearance reduction."

When posting deals, please include city, state, store, game, system and price. For example:
Mesa, AZ Power Road at Superstition Springs
Super Soup Soufflé, Xbox 360, $4.98

Special thanks to Mephitical for this great tool for locating clearance titles which is located here. Go to Amazon or Target to find the item's ASIN. When you find it, replace "B000O3IS48" in the URL with your item's ASIN. This will take you to a page asking you for your zip code. Type in your zip code and click enter-- this will display a list of local stores and whether or not they have your item in stock. YMMV on it working properly.

Here is a fairly easy way to check if your local Target has the games on clearance-- often games will not be tagged correctly. Thanks to BigDirty for this:
1) Go to Half.com or a similar site. Search for the game to locate its UPC code number. It's in the gray box underneath the box art graphic.
2) Go to UPC Data ,Milk.com , or UPC Database and enter the code so you can print out the UPC. Go to Target and use the price scanners to scan your printouts.

Remember, the lowest known price will be posted since the listed item could be higher or lower at your store. Here are the current deals:

Just checked the West Hollywood, CA Target and it looks like nothing has changed since last week, although they did restock about 15 copies of Red Steel for Wii at $20.98 since I was there yesterday. The end cap ones are labeled with the red stickers, the ones in the glass display are not. Stalker and DOAX 2 still ring up at last week's prices. Oh well, I guess I'll keep waiting.
 
That sucks. I have noticed that my Target has marked down during odd times in the week. Maybe it'll happen again with STALKER.
 
I was at a Target I usually don't go to and they had some new markdowns. I noticed that toys were getting marked down today and not electronics.

All drops are 360:
All Pro Football dropped to 7.48 @ 75%
Command & Conquer 3 dropped to 14.98 @ 75%
Fantastic 4 Rise of the Silver Surfer dropped to 9.98 @ 75%

I found a Splinter Cell Double Agent 360 which rang OOS. Then I found two more with the As Is sticker for 4.96! I always just find DVDs and CDs with the As Is until now.

Also, STALKER was still 14.98 and Call of Juarez WAS STILL AT 29.98!!!!! CoJ has been stuck @ 50% FOREVER.

If anybody cares, I saw Dogz PC and Catz PC for 13.98 each @ 30%
 
I might run to a different Target near me to try and find Splinter Cell for $5. They'll work nicely with the extra $10 credit at GS. Command and Conquer is certainly at a killer price. I'm tempted.

C&C 3 and All Pro were still ringing up at the 50% prices for me this morning. Maybe it takes a day or two for the West Coast Targets to catch up.

Supposedly, most stores drop electronics on Mondays, but like I said this store seemed to being doing toys today and I've seen another store do drops on Sunday instead of Monday on occasion. As for your store, the clearance changes may not have been made yet as sometimes it gets done later in the morning or in the afternoon so you might want to go back later today if it's close enough and you really want those. Or your store may not drop it until next week.
 
My store didn't seem to have any good deals....a lot of the clearance still seemed overpriced to me. I did see Silver Surfer for 360 at $9.98. No APF though.

Didnt see any of the super stuff cheap. The clearance shelves were loaded and tagged, so my assumption is that they already did their markings for the week. Was tempted by N3 20.98 and Dirt 360 for 41.98. Decided to pass in hopes of one more drop on both. Had my eyes out for both for a while now.
 
Saw 3 copies of All Pro Football 2K8 at $7.48 each. Called GS and they only offer $4 per game. Even with the $10 extra coupon it wasn't worth it. Tried Blockbuster and they offered $15 per game!! Woo Hoo! Flipped all 3 copies at BB for Bioshock, and the girl at the register didn't even charge me tax! Even though it was in a generic case the disc is mint. I asked for instructions and a new 360 case, which they gave me from behind the counter. I'd love to see Command and Conquer 3 drop further, but even at $14.98 the game is well worth the price. If anyone is wondering it gets $22 at BB.

C&C3 won't drop lower than 15 as that's 75% off. Then it's off to Goodwill in a coulple weeks.
 
My local store finally created the "mass dumping" endcap I've been reading about. There's an assload of stuff for all platforms, but the initial pricing is so-so. I'll keep an eye on it.

3 C&C 3 360s were at the Gaithersburg, Md Target today... all marked different prices. One was marked $14.98 one was marked $9.98 and one was marked $7.48. Looks like whoever was tagging these got lazy or just wasn't paying attention. I asked an employee what the deal was, and they said... "just buy the cheapest one", it rang up at $14.98, they adjusted to $7.48.

Long story short, there is still a C&C marked $10 and one marked $15 left for any Gaithersburg CAGs as of 10 minutes ago. There are also a couple of copies of Fantastic 4 left for 360 and one left for PS3 ($10)

This was a good call. I went back this afternoon and the price drop to $14.98 for C&C 3 and the drops for Silver Surfer 360 and All Pro Football were in effect. So, all I really want now is DOAX2 and maybe a couple of Wii games when they go to 75%. Thanks again for prompting me to get up and actually walk back across the street to the Target.
 
Thanks guys, picked up Fantastic Four. wanted to get Shrek also but still not in my price range. Does anyone know if it will drop any further or not? (sorry, if this has been answered already) :)
 
Just visited a few Targets in San Diego. Looked like everything that went on clearance last week didn't drop, unfortunately. Did pick up APF 2k8 for $7.48 like everyone else has reported. Was really hoping to find C&C3 for $14.98, but the only store I had seen it at had sold out.
 
I went today and saw a bunch of stuff.... and i don't remember prices. I bought my phone with me but the battery died before i could get some price pictures... What I do remember:

GC Animal Crossing $13.98 (bought it)
PS2 Rogue Galaxy $27.98 (some guy hid one in the new cheap games aisle behind SOCOM 3 but he left it completely visible.)

Yes. I like the game enough despite the reviews and it won't drop any lower at Target as 75% off is the lowest it will go.

saw a 1600 Xbox Live Points Card clearanced for 16. here's hoping it keeps going down.

FFROTSS gets 15, what about Shrek 3? APF2k8 doubles your $

This was a good call. I went back this afternoon and the price drop to $14.98 for C&C 3 and the drops for Silver Surfer 360 and All Pro Football were in effect. So, all I really want now is DOAX2 and maybe a couple of Wii games when they go to 75%. Thanks again for prompting me to get up and actually walk back across the street to the Target.

APF 2k8 rang up as $14.98 for me earlier today, does this pricing not go into a central Target computer?

See bojay1997's experience. You may have checked before drops were enacted at your store. Also, not all stores drop the same week. There's one store (out of many in my area) that usually drops a week before the rest. It's the old YMMV.

My local Target had a few PS3 games for $20.83 on Sunday....went back on Tuesday and the clearance stickers were ripped off and they were back to $30. Argh.

Welcome to CAG. Did you scan them on a price checker? Just cause the clearance stickers gone doesn't mean the price changed. In fact, sometimes the wrong game gets a clearance sticker on accident so it works both ways. If you didn't scan it, do so as that is the actual price, especially do so if you're seen that game listed here as it should be on clearance with some YMMV variances stated above.

What was the price of Shrek at your store? If it's like most and is 12.xx then it has dropped to 75% off and won't go lower.

Also, Bionicle 360, Godfather 360, and Burnout Dominator PS2 did not drop again at my stores this week.

Thanks. Yep, I had the clerk scan it. He scanned it once, looked at it funny and then scanned it again. "Umm... it's 29.99" I told him it was $20.83 a couple of days earlier and he told me it was a mistake. Oh well...live and learn.
 
Damn, all of my local stores pulled the 50/75% off games from last week. I was hoping to get All Pro 2K8 for $7.50 and C&C 3 for $15. One store had about a dozen GCN Animal Crossing for $13.98. I'd like to get a really cheap copy of that, but I'll bet they get pulled after they drop to $9.98. :bomb:

Edit: I know they were pulled because the clerk at one store told me it had happened earlier in the day.

Could have been mistagged the first time you saw it and when they processed drops this week they saw that it was tagged mistakenly and removed it. That means it would still ring up 29.99 last week and you may or may not have been able to talk them into giving you the tagged price depending on the cashier. What game was it? Has anyone reported it on clearance on this thread?

i picked one of these up and hope to return/rebuy in a few weeks. i couldnt score this at circuit city so i think this might be my best chance
 
Wow, found a couple of possible increases at a local Target clearance shelf last night:
360 GRAW 2 $59.99 (not PH)

And amazingly : 360 Crackdown $59.99

WTF? GRAW2 was under $10 last I heard... and it's about time for Crackdown to drop.
 
Damn. I didn't have time to stop by Target yesterday so I'll have to check it out today. It seems like it takes until Tuesday for my stores to catch up anyways.
 
Bleh, the only new thing at my Target was:

DS Lionel Trains - $13.98

They had a ton of Shrek the Third stuff, but I didn't pay a whole lot of attentino to it.

Not all Targets follow this policy. I often see games at 90%. I've seen C&C 3 for $7.98, but passed since i'm not really interested in it.
 
I just stopped into my Target this morning, and noticed that some of the games were scanning less than stickered. Except for the ones I want, like DOAX2, which is still $20.98. I'll pay a few dollars for that, but no more :)
 
Shrek 3 360 Gets 15 at GR (Somebody asked the question earlier in the thread).

On a more personal note, none of the bloody targets in my area have done the 75% drop yet, I wish the drops would happen at the same time across the country.
 
i've been waiting for 'the godfather' and 'hitman blood money' to go down from its 19.98 price for like the past month and a half. anyone know why that hasn't been marked down and Fantastic four and shrek is? being that FF4 and Shrek were just marked down to 19.98 a few weeks ago?

I'm going back to check it this week. It was Fight Night Round 3 for the PS3. I tried talking the cashier into giving me the price, but he was a bit of a jerk. I'll try again.....

Found it today for $6.98, but highly YMMV because everywhere else I'd seen it had a starting price of $39.99 and markdown to $19.98. This had a starting price of $27.98, but I'm not complaining. Only one copy. They also had three copies of FF: Silver Surfer for $7.98.
