This thread is for clearance-- not for sale items, or raincheck "scams." Price reductions for clearance seem to happen on Monday, although not every Monday. Target often donates its older clearance titles to Goodwill stores, so keep that in mind when you're trying to find items. Some info from BigDirty: "Further reduction is possible when a game's price ends with 8 cents. However, when it ends in 4 cents it will NOT drop anymore. If it ends in 9 cents, it's just on sale or on a non-clearance reduction."

When posting deals, please include city, state, store, game, system and price. For example:
Mesa, AZ Power Road at Superstition Springs
Super Soup Soufflé, Xbox 360, $4.98

Special thanks to Mephitical for this great tool for locating clearance titles which is located here. Go to Amazon or Target to find the item's ASIN. When you find it, replace "B000O3IS48" in the URL with your item's ASIN. This will take you to a page asking you for your zip code. Type in your zip code and click enter-- this will display a list of local stores and whether or not they have your item in stock. YMMV on it working properly.

Here is a fairly easy way to check if your local Target has the games on clearance-- often games will not be tagged correctly. Thanks to BigDirty for this:
1) Go to Half.com or a similar site. Search for the game to locate its UPC code number. It's in the gray box underneath the box art graphic.
2) Go to UPC Data ,Milk.com , or UPC Database and enter the code so you can print out the UPC. Go to Target and use the price scanners to scan your printouts.

Remember, the lowest known price will be posted since the listed item could be higher or lower at your store. Here are the current deals:

I saw a clearanced one (also 20.98) at the Roanoke, VA Target about a week ago. If I lived closer I'd go take another look this weekend and see if it's dropped again but it's not worth the ~10$ in gas.

I saw an Over G with a starting price of 60 so it was 42 with the 30% off. From what I hear it's not worth the 75% off price of 15, but to each their own.

I finally saw the 1600 point cards in stock at a store and they were not tagged, but scanned at 14. Sweet. Also found the bigger official gamecube memory card (1019 or whatever) tagged 30% off. Don't remember seeing that before.

At another store, I finally saw GC Zelda Windwaker @ 14, too. Also, 360 Burnout Revenge was 30% off 30 at 21. Finally, being clearanced at this area's Targets.
 
I decided to go back to my closest Target for Command and Conquer 3 and got the last copy (14.98). What was once an endcap full of clearance games was now reduced to a few small plastic containers (mostly crap) holding games on a single shelf.
There was only one copy of N3 left, but I'm not biting at $21. Unless they add more games to be clearance there's no point in me even returning.
Can't complain though, as I made out pretty well.

I've seen this happen at a couple of stores, too. It turned out that one moved one of it's two clearance endcaps to the nearby sporting goods area on an endcap, but at the other store the whole endcap except for PC games was gone. The entire endcap was filled with stacks of games from front to back and stacked really high. We're talking hundreds of games and now they're all gone in less than a week! Of course, there was noone around to ask where they went.

At another store new stuff must have been brought out because I had never seen some of those games there in a long time. There were two Zelda four Swords when they hit clearance and when it hit 5 bucks at the same time as the first big wave of new clearances, ten or so four swords were on the endcap.
 
There are quite a few new games on clearance at my Target, including a good many for Wii & 360. The prices are decent, but really not particularly noteworthy, although I did pick up All-Pro Football 2K8 for the 360 for a mere $7.48.
 
I found a bunch of copies of Stalker at one of my local stores but it was still $21, so my Targets are really getting behind the price drop curve.

Also don't know if this is a "new" deal but there was one lone copy of Red Steel locked up in the case red-tagged for $21.

i got shrek for 13 bucks at 75% off, 90 would be pretty sweet but i dont want to bust. i hid an 7.xx allpro last night and when i tried to get it today, gone. how sad, i cried :(

probably someone was doing re-shop or re-organizing that area. ;)
 
Don't know if this has been mentioned, but I checked Ebay first and noticed that the CE isn't selling for a big amount(or any versions for that matter).

World Of Warcraft: Burning Crusade: Collectors Edition-$34.96

I'm tempted to pick up ONE myself, even though I doubt I'd ever play it, just in case it spikes just before Christmas to get in on the $$$$ to be made.

It includes alot of stuff in the box though.

CD and DVD versions of the game, the Art Of World Of Warcraft Book(the one with the green cover that dropped @ Gamestop a while back), 2 starter packs for the WOW card game, etc, etc, etc. It's a heavy mothertrucker too, so it seems well worth the $$$.

Which Live Starter kit was this?

Also, Target is starting to carry Xbox Live Arcade Game cards. They're cards that look like the 12 month cards, but they have a graphic of the game they are for on them and the code purchases said game. I saw Mortal Kombat for 10, Uno for 5, GeoWars (5?), Worms 10. Probably not Target exclusive, but thought I'd point them out. Is Uno for 5 half off the cost bought directly online?

Anyone think the latest round of clearance games will hit 50% off this Monday? It would be about two weeks since they were first added to the clearance.

I hope so. I'm definately going to check it out. I'm surprised that the PSP slim headsets have already hit the clearance rack. They just came out about a month ago.

I'm wondering if the PSP slim AV cables are getting ready to get clearanced. I was out shopping with my wife this afternoon and I noticed about 5 packages of the Sony PSP slim AV cables over with the clearance stuff right next to the slim headphones. They didn't have the red clearance stickers on them. I scanned them and they came up full price.

Were they placed there today in preparation for another round of drops tomorrow? One can only hope! I'd love a set of AV and component cables for the slim but I don't want to pay $20 for them.

WHAT:shock::shock::shock:??! Did it have one of those "AS IS" stickers on it? I'm sure that was a unique incident but that would rule if they started clearing those puppies out! You better have bought it and if so please post receipt pic.
 
I hit up my Target because I needed some jelly and looked around the videogame section. The odd thing was, they had the new Black PSPs and the SW bundle PSPs but no Daxter bundles.

It has an "AS IS" sticker, but appears to be new and sealed. Didn't buy it, because I don't really want a PSP and didn't know how good a deal it is. This is in the Flower Mound, TX Target on the clearance endcap.

If it's still there tomorrow I may pick it up, as now I see I can make some $$ on it on eBay. Fair warning to those who live nearby and want it for fun.
 
So I was at Target yesterday and noticed most of what everyone has mentioned. And Crash of the Titans on the GBA for $20.98. Didn't that JUST come out? If it drops more, I'll definitely get it. The last Crash Bandicoot game I played was Crash Warped..... Also saw a Lord of the Rings Online thingy. I didn't check it but I remembered one thing. It was thick! I'm not sure of that was a Collection/Limited Edition or something but.... yeah. It was there.
 
I guess I need to hit up my local Targets, since $96 or so is the cheapest I guess I'll ever find a PSP, plus I'm sure I could sell Daxter someplace to recoup some $$$.

Then again, $96 is still too much for the reason I want it(to be able to play one or two cancelled PS1 games by loading them on a memory stick).
 
I went to my local Target to buy Xbox 1600 pt card, but when I went to check out, they rang up at regular $19.99. It was the Halo edition pt cards. This deal is probably not at all locations. I am in the Los Angeles Area.

Only the blister packed cards are getting clearanced (not the Halo cards). That was probably the problem.
 
If anyone else sees the Daxter PSP for that price, please report. I (and I'm sure others) would like to gauge how much of a YMMV this really is. Just as an FYI, I've seen brand new/ unopened items at Target with the "As-Is" stickers before.

I thought it said soda, too. I liked a sale Target had a while back...get a $5 gift card when you buy a few 12 fridge packs of soda....that was a nice sale. I was in for 2 cards with that one.

These aren't the right ones. The Halo 3 cards are not activated until scanned at a register. It's the ones that are in a plastic box and are pre-activated that are on clearance. I've been to 3 targets in the NW suburbs of Chicago so far and no luck with the 360 1600 pt cards. :(

If it had an "AS IS" sticker like the poster stated, it's probably extremely YMMV.

same prices also, but they did have a ipod shuffle (pink) + 15 prepackaged itunes gift card for $67.98... Target was selling them as a "breast cancer" package deal thingy.

Nice price. Did it have an "As Is" sticker on it?

Going to hit up some Targets tomorrow. Hopefully I'll find something good enough to post about.
 
No additional markdowns here either. I was really hoping they would drop this week because I have a feeling they will be wiped out no matter the price by the Black Friday stampede.


No Daxter bundles on clearance at my store either. They still have about 10 of them in the glass case at full price.
