Target coupon- 5 dollars off 25 dollar purchase

This thread is for clearance-- not for sale items, or raincheck "scams." Price reductions for clearance seem to happen on Monday, although not every Monday. Target often donates its older clearance titles to Goodwill stores, so keep that in mind when you're trying to find items. Some info from BigDirty: "Further reduction is possible when a game's price ends with 8 cents. However, when it ends in 4 cents it will NOT drop anymore. If it ends in 9 cents, it's just on sale or on a non-clearance reduction."

When posting deals, please include city, state, store, game, system and price. For example:
Mesa, AZ Power Road at Superstition Springs
Super Soup Soufflé, Xbox 360, $4.98

Special thanks to Mephitical for this great tool for locating clearance titles which is located here. Go to Amazon or Target to find the item's ASIN. When you find it, replace "B000O3IS48" in the URL with your item's ASIN. This will take you to a page asking you for your zip code. Type in your zip code and click enter-- this will display a list of local stores and whether or not they have your item in stock. YMMV on it working properly.

Here is a fairly easy way to check if your local Target has the games on clearance-- often games will not be tagged correctly. Thanks to BigDirty for this:
1) Go to Half.com or a similar site. Search for the game to locate its UPC code number. It's in the gray box underneath the box art graphic.
2) Go to UPC Data ,Milk.com , or UPC Database and enter the code so you can print out the UPC. Go to Target and use the price scanners to scan your printouts.

Remember, the lowest known price will be posted since the listed item could be higher or lower at your store. Here are the current deals:

I saw Rogue Galaxy at $19.xx today.

No more Shrek on clearance for the 360 (it would've dropped to 7.xx, i think), but I did find FFV Advance GBA on clearance for $14.98. I snatched it up right away, I've been waiting for it to hit $15 or less for a while.

I almost got the DOAXBV2 for $14.98 but I passed. I'd love to find APF2K8 for $3.xx and Fantastic Four for $5.xx.

They also had Elder Scrolls IV: Shivering Isles expansion on PC clearanced for $13.48. I found that odd, because it's not very old.

It's wierd how stuff they didn't have before just suddenly shows up. Got to love when they clean out the storage area I guess.

My store had 9 cards marked at 16$ for a week and a half...didn't sell one. Then one day, all of them are gone. I'm hoping for what happened to you, and not that some donkey came in and bought all of them probably to flip them on ebay.

I talked to the "Pricing and Inventory Manager" at one Target near me this morning, as I had noticed they have quite a few games that hit 50% a month ago, and have not dropped any further. He told me that they are trying out new pricing structures, and that 50% is as low as games are going to go at that particular store, and possibly company wide by end of Q1 '08.

I asked because I've been waiting for XMen III 360, FFV GBA, and Metal Slug Wii to drop, and they have multiple copies of each, but had not moved.

I hope it's not true, as that would be quite crummy news...

Killzone (psp) was at $27.98 for a month at my Target. I checked last wednesday and they still had 4 copies. I checked this morning and it had dropped to $19.98 but there was only 1 copy left. :shock:

Why couldn't everybody else have waited for another price drop ($13.98).

I went ahead and got the last copy since it is not available at other Targets in my area.

Final Fantasy VI Advance $14.98 I took my receipt to Sears they price matched and gave me an extra 10% off I bought FF VI Advance there for $13.49 plus tax I returned the copy I had bought at Target. I made a second trip I saw a stack of FF V Advance some copies were stickered $20.98 others $14.98 I found one copy at the bottom that had a $10.48 sticker I took it to the register where it rang up $7.48 but the sticker was for a PSP UMD the employee shrugged his shoulders and told me someone made a mistake but it wasn't my fault he let me buy FF V Advance $7.48!

I also saw Final Fantasy III DS $19.98 still a bit too expensive for my liking but I do not think this game will make it to the next round of drops I only saw two copies.

Saw the Richmond Short Pump Target get raped of all of its Gamecube TMNT Movie games (maybe 8 copies?) by someone who also had a handful of Wii games picked-up off the end cap. :lol: Now that's a guy who will be standing in line Dec 26 to return 8 copies of TMNT for the Gamecube.

I stopped by on Monday and the only thing I saw of interest were the Hot Wheels PSP games, but I passed.

I went to a Target a few days ago that had a ton of these, and remembered someone on here said they were good. I decided to buy a couple bottles. Yum!

I'm going back today to buy 2-4 more bottles, if there's any left.

Also found a copy of Monster Madness for Xbox 360 for $19.99. It wasn't clearanced, so I'm assuming this price is a universal (or soon-to-be) drop?

I picked up the two copies of Okami at 19.99, wasn't going to gamble that they'd stick around for long
