Target coupon- 5 dollars off 25 dollar purchase

This thread is for clearance-- not for sale items, or raincheck "scams." Price reductions for clearance seem to happen on Monday, although not every Monday. Target often donates its older clearance titles to Goodwill stores, so keep that in mind when you're trying to find items. Some info from BigDirty: "Further reduction is possible when a game's price ends with 8 cents. However, when it ends in 4 cents it will NOT drop anymore. If it ends in 9 cents, it's just on sale or on a non-clearance reduction."

When posting deals, please include city, state, store, game, system and price. For example:
Mesa, AZ Power Road at Superstition Springs
Super Soup Soufflé, Xbox 360, $4.98

Special thanks to Mephitical for this great tool for locating clearance titles which is located here. Go to Amazon or Target to find the item's ASIN. When you find it, replace "B000O3IS48" in the URL with your item's ASIN. This will take you to a page asking you for your zip code. Type in your zip code and click enter-- this will display a list of local stores and whether or not they have your item in stock. YMMV on it working properly.

Here is a fairly easy way to check if your local Target has the games on clearance-- often games will not be tagged correctly. Thanks to BigDirty for this:
1) Go to Half.com or a similar site. Search for the game to locate its UPC code number. It's in the gray box underneath the box art graphic.
2) Go to UPC Data ,Milk.com , or UPC Database and enter the code so you can print out the UPC. Go to Target and use the price scanners to scan your printouts.

Remember, the lowest known price will be posted since the listed item could be higher or lower at your store. Here are the current deals:

NBA2K7 dropped to 20 @ Target around July and is getting clearanced now at some stores so look for 2k8 to drop around that price again at that time next year or a weekly sale in the meantime may drop it to 40. Why would 2k8 hit clearance a month or two after it came out?

It should work fine for UMDs or any media you load yourself, Sony only allows games to display in 480p (component) modes. Which is odd since it's not the like the PSP resolution is THAT high. (it would've probably looked a tad blurry via composite or S-Video but it should have worked)

I thought you couldn't do games using the composite (A/V cable)

And remember, your TV has to be capable of 640x480 pixel output and have component inputs. Not all TVs with component inputs are capable of 480p. I learned this on a Sony Wega ironically

And lastly, what I found at my trips. I had my hpone with me so I took pictures of almost everything except NBA 07 and The Bigs on the PS2 and The Bigs, All Pro Football 2K8, and NBA 2K7 on the PS3. But I remember The Bigs and All Pro had only gone through their first clearance. As for everything else:

Not sure if its been reported yet but Dragon Ball Z: Budokai tenkaichi 2 for th e Wii is no longer 20 and is now on clearence for 14.98.

I guess they are trying to get rid of them before the third one comes out this week.
