Target coupon- 5 dollars off 25 dollar purchase

This thread is for clearance-- not for sale items, or raincheck "scams." Price reductions for clearance seem to happen on Monday, although not every Monday. Target often donates its older clearance titles to Goodwill stores, so keep that in mind when you're trying to find items. Some info from BigDirty: "Further reduction is possible when a game's price ends with 8 cents. However, when it ends in 4 cents it will NOT drop anymore. If it ends in 9 cents, it's just on sale or on a non-clearance reduction."

When posting deals, please include city, state, store, game, system and price. For example:
Mesa, AZ Power Road at Superstition Springs
Super Soup Soufflé, Xbox 360, $4.98

Special thanks to Mephitical for this great tool for locating clearance titles which is located here. Go to Amazon or Target to find the item's ASIN. When you find it, replace "B000O3IS48" in the URL with your item's ASIN. This will take you to a page asking you for your zip code. Type in your zip code and click enter-- this will display a list of local stores and whether or not they have your item in stock. YMMV on it working properly.

Here is a fairly easy way to check if your local Target has the games on clearance-- often games will not be tagged correctly. Thanks to BigDirty for this:
1) Go to Half.com or a similar site. Search for the game to locate its UPC code number. It's in the gray box underneath the box art graphic.
2) Go to UPC Data ,Milk.com , or UPC Database and enter the code so you can print out the UPC. Go to Target and use the price scanners to scan your printouts.

Remember, the lowest known price will be posted since the listed item could be higher or lower at your store. Here are the current deals:

Went to Target and saw Major League Baseball 2K7 stickered for $9.98(sorry if this was mentioned before). Also, brought my Trauma Center SO to the service desk and asked if I could return it and rebuy it and the girl let me and so I got back $13 and change. TC:SO for $13 is a steal

Just got back from target myself. All my target had for clearance stuff was 30 some copies of Proving Ground for 29.99 (360 Limited Edition of course) and a bunch of pc games. Only notable ones were Rome total War for 9.99 (which I picked up) and Lost Planet for 19.99 (which I passed cause I'm holding out for the 360 edition).

picked up the 40 dollar 360 vga cable for 10 bucks today. ARGH... I can't believe target did this... I paid 40 dollars for it when I bought it from Microcenter 3 months ago when I got my 360... Why is the VGA cable on clearance? It's the official one not a 3rd party. Anyways I have a spare just in case.

Not to rain on your parade but Sears had it clearanced out for about 4-6 bux a week or two ago when I went there. Was gonna pick one up but TV doesn't do 1080p over VGA just component and HDMI. Although I did pick up the Official Comp. cables there for 8.97 too.

WOW!!! It took me 40+ hours to rack the full 1000 in Oblivion. Kudos to you. I just was reading that its insane to get achievements in DOAXBVB2.

Actually, I got all of the achievements in Oblivion

At first I didn't care about achievements, but for some odd reason lately I've been trying to get as many as I can.

However, four of my friends own DOAX 2 and for some reason all had 0 achievements unlocked... damn it might be too difficult to get achievements in that game...

Just an FYI, if you have the HD-DVD player for the 360, the only way to upconvert is to use that VGA cable.

I kid you not when I was at one of the targets near me in woodland hills they had 10 copies and I went back today and didnt find anything other then The Davinci Code for xbox. It sucks too since they had alot of clearence games and not they have almost nothing.

Here in the Portland-area, the closest one to me was fully stocked with tons of clearance games last week (when most were at 50% off). I go in Tuesday evening and just the dregs are left over (and at 75% off) - pretty much just Alien Syndrome for the Wii and PS2 baseball games. Meh... I don't have the will to drive all over to different Targets only to be disappointed.

Go to the trade forum, there is a topic that pretty much discusses everything you need to know about trading. And yes, trading pretty much comes down to trust.

Pretty much, or both send at the same time if they trust each other. CAG has a feedback system for these kind of trades; you can see someone's prior feedback by clicking the number next to "iTrader rating" under their name.

In the past 2 days I have gone to 5 Targets in So Cal and the clearance games are pretty much cleaned out. I got lucky and found Rogue Galaxy (last copy) for $9.98.

picked up that 20 in one sega master system portable unit for 10 bucks... finally my area got them for that price. Last time I saw them was over the summer for 50 bucks. I got one for me and my nephew. He isn't gonna get a PSP or DS, but this is pretty good and if looses it, it's not a big loss.
