Target coupon- 5 dollars off 25 dollar purchase

This thread is for clearance-- not for sale items, or raincheck "scams." Price reductions for clearance seem to happen on Monday, although not every Monday. Target often donates its older clearance titles to Goodwill stores, so keep that in mind when you're trying to find items. Some info from BigDirty: "Further reduction is possible when a game's price ends with 8 cents. However, when it ends in 4 cents it will NOT drop anymore. If it ends in 9 cents, it's just on sale or on a non-clearance reduction."

When posting deals, please include city, state, store, game, system and price. For example:
Mesa, AZ Power Road at Superstition Springs
Super Soup Soufflé, Xbox 360, $4.98

Special thanks to Mephitical for this great tool for locating clearance titles which is located here. Go to Amazon or Target to find the item's ASIN. When you find it, replace "B000O3IS48" in the URL with your item's ASIN. This will take you to a page asking you for your zip code. Type in your zip code and click enter-- this will display a list of local stores and whether or not they have your item in stock. YMMV on it working properly.

Here is a fairly easy way to check if your local Target has the games on clearance-- often games will not be tagged correctly. Thanks to BigDirty for this:
1) Go to Half.com or a similar site. Search for the game to locate its UPC code number. It's in the gray box underneath the box art graphic.
2) Go to UPC Data ,Milk.com , or UPC Database and enter the code so you can print out the UPC. Go to Target and use the price scanners to scan your printouts.

Remember, the lowest known price will be posted since the listed item could be higher or lower at your store. Here are the current deals:

$14.99 was the scanned price for Homecourt on the 360, so I would assume that is national? If you're looking for the PS3 version, there is a much better price of 8.96 in the Circuit City clearance.

all Target clearance prices are YMMV, but the drops tend to be in sync.

So I got hosed by the Target in Springfield Illinois today as I picked up not only Gun(36), Def Jam Icon(PS3) and Ghost Squad for Wii only to have none of the prices scan up and the employees were clueless even though I mentioned how I had seen them on "the website" for the listed prices. Manager came up shortly thereafter and refused to sell them to me and moments later had called other employees to remove all the games from the cases. So not only did I fail but I failed dressed in my business best as I was on break from work lol. This sucks

I went looking for the VT3 at my local store, but alas they were all gone today. No VF5 in the 3 Targets I chacked on my way home tonight. If someone can pick one up for the $5 price, let me know and we can try and work something out.

Did pick up a few other things though:
PS3 - NHL 2K7 rang up for $7.48, was stickered for $14.98
Wii - Red Steel came up N/A, cashier charged me $7.48, which was the price on the sticker.

There were two copies of Bioshock (PC) for $24.99 at the Culver City, CA location (La Cienega).

Is it possible that when you guys post deals, please specificy the system the deal is available for? Also, stating which locale you're finding the deal in would be great. I appreciate the enthusiasm to alert us of deals, but if all that's being said is "hey, i got for $4.99" without stating where, then most of the time, a wild goose chase ensues.

Blah my Target sucks finally saw my first $7.48 game NHL 2K7 which they still have piles of that nobody wants. Was looking for VF5 or whatever was good and cheap none in stock.... Saw 4 Ghost Squads on an endcap that were not there when the whole Ghost Squad thing hit. Came up not in system on price checker so I grabbed 2 GS and a 2K7 that I didn't want and went to the register. Picked the scrawniest lil kid working and tried to muscle him into making them all the same since they all clearance and on same shelf but he was scared to override anything himslef and called someone over. About 4 people and 10 minutes later they called electronics and the guy told them $29.99 as soon as they asked. Seems like i'm not the only one trying to get them... Oh well back to my normal schedule of not spending a dime at Target.

Here in San Jose,CA in the new Target in Curtner there were like 3 or 4 Bioshock PC copies left at $24.99. That was yesterday.

I got the game when it was released, and for me, and lot of critics, it was the game of the year.

i was able to nab a 10 dollar okami, 10 dollar downhill jam for wii, and a 12 buck ghost squad. pretty good haul. here is one i didn't see on the front page. as a new ps3 owner, i scanned godfather for it, and it rang up $25 even though it's with a bunch of $30 games.

I picked up Rome: Total War Gold Edition($4.98). Unfortunately though, his new pc has Vista, which I'm not 100% sure it'll work with.
