Target coupon- 5 dollars off 25 dollar purchase

This thread is for clearance-- not for sale items, or raincheck "scams." Price reductions for clearance seem to happen on Monday, although not every Monday. Target often donates its older clearance titles to Goodwill stores, so keep that in mind when you're trying to find items. Some info from BigDirty: "Further reduction is possible when a game's price ends with 8 cents. However, when it ends in 4 cents it will NOT drop anymore. If it ends in 9 cents, it's just on sale or on a non-clearance reduction."

When posting deals, please include city, state, store, game, system and price. For example:
Mesa, AZ Power Road at Superstition Springs
Super Soup Soufflé, Xbox 360, $4.98

Special thanks to Mephitical for this great tool for locating clearance titles which is located here. Go to Amazon or Target to find the item's ASIN. When you find it, replace "B000O3IS48" in the URL with your item's ASIN. This will take you to a page asking you for your zip code. Type in your zip code and click enter-- this will display a list of local stores and whether or not they have your item in stock. YMMV on it working properly.

Here is a fairly easy way to check if your local Target has the games on clearance-- often games will not be tagged correctly. Thanks to BigDirty for this:
1) Go to Half.com or a similar site. Search for the game to locate its UPC code number. It's in the gray box underneath the box art graphic.
2) Go to UPC Data ,Milk.com , or UPC Database and enter the code so you can print out the UPC. Go to Target and use the price scanners to scan your printouts.

Remember, the lowest known price will be posted since the listed item could be higher or lower at your store. Here are the current deals:

Tracker apparently no longer works very well according to the original author over at fatwallet.

happened to me at 2 Targets. Both places pulled all there copies off the shelf after I left. The worst part is at the 2nd store one person was wanting to sell it to me cause they left it on the shelf but some angry higher up employee yelled at him till he agreed with her.

AFAIK, this is somewhat YMMV, as individual stores do their own clearances. I know I've gone on Mondays and things aren't clearanced yet, but will be on Tuesday. I think Monday is indeed the day it's supposed to happen, but just a heads up that if you go on Monday and nothing has changed, check back.

My local Target has gotten progressively lazier with sticking to the schedule as well. Electronics seems to happen Tuesday sometime now, and I don't even know when they did their toys - it's supposed to be on Wednesday so I went Wed and Thurs evening to snag some stuff for my kids and everything was still at 30%. Went there on Monday and it was almost all gone and marked at 75%.

There was nothing clearanced at my target. There were a lot of empty slots in the game cases though. None were ghost squard that i could see.

Picked up Ghost Squad tonight with a new SKU sticker over the old SKU marked "AS IS" for $12.46. This was sitting with the clearance items. They had 3 more copies in the spot marked for Ghost Squad/Garfield for $29.99 but these did not have the new SKU sticker. I don't know what the difference is, if any.

NBA Homecourt (3)
Tony Hawk Proving Ground (about a dozen)

All were marked $14.75.

For those of you who are finding clearanced DVDs, where are you finding them at?? (Store layout wise). Is there a seperate clearance area for DVDs?

Do they always scan at the right price? I wanted to pick up Ghost Recon 2 Advanced Warfighter for XBOX 360 but it scanned at 29.99. DDR w pad for XBOX 360 also scanned at 69.99. I scanned them using the price checkers.
