Target coupon- 5 dollars off 25 dollar purchase

This thread is for clearance-- not for sale items, or raincheck "scams." Price reductions for clearance seem to happen on Monday, although not every Monday. Target often donates its older clearance titles to Goodwill stores, so keep that in mind when you're trying to find items. Some info from BigDirty: "Further reduction is possible when a game's price ends with 8 cents. However, when it ends in 4 cents it will NOT drop anymore. If it ends in 9 cents, it's just on sale or on a non-clearance reduction."

When posting deals, please include city, state, store, game, system and price. For example:
Mesa, AZ Power Road at Superstition Springs
Super Soup Soufflé, Xbox 360, $4.98

Special thanks to Mephitical for this great tool for locating clearance titles which is located here. Go to Amazon or Target to find the item's ASIN. When you find it, replace "B000O3IS48" in the URL with your item's ASIN. This will take you to a page asking you for your zip code. Type in your zip code and click enter-- this will display a list of local stores and whether or not they have your item in stock. YMMV on it working properly.

Here is a fairly easy way to check if your local Target has the games on clearance-- often games will not be tagged correctly. Thanks to BigDirty for this:
1) Go to Half.com or a similar site. Search for the game to locate its UPC code number. It's in the gray box underneath the box art graphic.
2) Go to UPC Data ,Milk.com , or UPC Database and enter the code so you can print out the UPC. Go to Target and use the price scanners to scan your printouts.

Remember, the lowest known price will be posted since the listed item could be higher or lower at your store. Here are the current deals:

It was a while back. Okay about month. I want to say a little after thanksgiving.

all targets in my area had VT3 for ps3 and xbox 360 at 19.99

They never dropped below that.

That is a great deal... I'm going to have to keep an eye out for that next time I go looking for games.

Tried to buy Ghost Squad and Rival Swords. They wouldn't scan, so they told me they were "returns from target.com that didn't get defected out" (a total crock... there were 3 other GS and 1 other RS on the shelf) and would give them to me for $24.98 each. The cashier thought it was a great deal, since Wii games were regularly priced at $49.99. I passed.

I saw several of these at my store as well. That is an awesome deal since a refill pack of 4 cartridges alone usually costs $10 +.

Mine are on an end cap at the end of the pre-paid cell phone/mp3 aisle. At my Super Target that is where they throw all the electronics and entertainment clearence items. The Alexander HD-DVD I picked up the other day was the only movie on the end cap.

For reference purposes it is the Super Targed @ 1604 and Bandera Rd. in San Antonio.

They also had stuntman for the ps3 for 14.xx but I passed.

Old stock was clearanced out at $12.48. Apparently they got new stock before Christmas with new UPC stickers on the back that ring up $19.99 for their $19.99 display rack of games.

Picked up THPG on 360 for $14.75, hadn't played it before. I don't think it is really my type of game. I think I will be trading it in at GS towards my GTA IV reserve. With the 20% power trade and 10% edge card bonus that comes out to $19.50 trade in.

Hopefully that means when they clearance out that new batch, they go off of the $19.99 price and get down to $5 at 75%.

My wife picked that up. I think she forgot about it as I have not installed it yet for her.... that damn pogo membership and the those Phantom Reel Deal slot games keep her busy. I have to admit though those Phantom games are badass.

My local Best Buy has Virtua Tennis 3 for XB360 in the white-labeled "frontline" section for $19.99.

I only played the demo but thought it was pretty good. It's very heavy into Trial and Error but overall well worth playing, I'm gonna try to find a copy tonight.

I played the original Stuntman and that was the thing that annoyed me the most. It would take about 20-30 tries to just get past ONE mission. You miss the mark by ONE millimeter and you have to start all over. As for the Daxter pack, I may be headed back to NY, so I'll check it out if I get a chance. You'd be surprised by all of the clearance items I've found that weren't marked as such.

So, if it comes up $90 or cheaper and wasn't marked, I'd be ecstatic, since I want a PSP, but I don't wanna have to pay $150+ for one.

Apparently Target does cleareneced systems. I remember seeing the Daxter PSP bundle at one Target for 89.xx. It was towards the end of this summer. Someone else posted the same price on here.

I just saw three of these at Target today while looking for all these other good deals (which turned up nothing).

WOW!!! If it was clearanced @ $89-90 at the end of summer, I wonder what it might be down to by now? Hmmmmm......

This might be an interesting week, assuming that bundle I saw doesn't disappear.

EDIT: Those bundles came out around $199, right? So, if $90 was 50% roughly, then that may mean it's up to 75% off by now? I'd take a PSP for $50 any day of the week.

It's not a joke, though I don't recall who said they saw it listed @ $90 with an 'as-is' sticker over the summer, but I know that soon after that, I didn't see ANY of them ANYWHERE.

So, take it with a grain of salt, but it MAY be clearanced, but NOT marked.

Yeah the Daxter bundle in general started going for as much as $100 over retail not too long ago.

That may be why they disappeared.

Oh my God that would be amazing. I NEVER EVER see clearanced games at Targets...it's as if any that go on clearance get sent to other Targets; none of the LA ones have anything but $19.99 stickered 'clearance' games and greatest hits.

I believe it was a slim PSP, since it came out around the same time as the SW Battlefront one.

As for stores not clearancing hardware, my PSone/LCD screen combo I snagged from Kmart for $10(thanks again to briansraregames for pointing it out) begs to differ.

Oh I'm not saying it doesn't happen, just that it doesn't ever seem to happen in LA (or where ever I go)!

And not only that, I'm also talking about the clearance games at Target in LA - totally MIA.
