This thread is for clearance-- not for sale items, or raincheck "scams." Price reductions for clearance seem to happen on Monday, although not every Monday. Target often donates its older clearance titles to Goodwill stores, so keep that in mind when you're trying to find items. Some info from BigDirty: "Further reduction is possible when a game's price ends with 8 cents. However, when it ends in 4 cents it will NOT drop anymore. If it ends in 9 cents, it's just on sale or on a non-clearance reduction."

When posting deals, please include city, state, store, game, system and price. For example:
Mesa, AZ Power Road at Superstition Springs
Super Soup Soufflé, Xbox 360, $4.98

Special thanks to Mephitical for this great tool for locating clearance titles which is located here. Go to Amazon or Target to find the item's ASIN. When you find it, replace "B000O3IS48" in the URL with your item's ASIN. This will take you to a page asking you for your zip code. Type in your zip code and click enter-- this will display a list of local stores and whether or not they have your item in stock. YMMV on it working properly.

Here is a fairly easy way to check if your local Target has the games on clearance-- often games will not be tagged correctly. Thanks to BigDirty for this:
1) Go to Half.com or a similar site. Search for the game to locate its UPC code number. It's in the gray box underneath the box art graphic.
2) Go to UPC Data ,Milk.com , or UPC Database and enter the code so you can print out the UPC. Go to Target and use the price scanners to scan your printouts.

Remember, the lowest known price will be posted since the listed item could be higher or lower at your store. Here are the current deals:

I bought one of those Halo Action Clix for $3.98 today. Only the Master Chief with Assault Rifle and Arbiter with Energy Sword pair is on clearance. The larger set is not.

Saw Timeshift for $25 as well as Kane & Lynch, both for the PC. Didn't Kane & Lynch just come out?

Scan them at a price checker or print the UPCs (See OP)of the games your interested in and scan them at the price checkers to get the actual price. I've even seen stores mark some games from a drop on Monday and leave others still marked full price in the case, but when scanned they all came up clearanced.

Folklore was $41.98 at the 2 targets around me. I picked it up at the first one since it was the last copy. The second store had about 5-6 copies in the glass case, im hoping it'll drop within the 30 days so i can go re-buy and return the more expensive copy.

I saw multiple copies of Kane + Lynch, TimeShift, Two Worlds, and Tabula Rasa at my Target at $12.48. Flipped a copy of Kane = Lynch on Goozex for 750 points, so I basically paid $15(including shipping) for 750 points. :D
 
They must have had a deal at Target last week where you got an NBA came or Tony Hawk PG for free when you bought a 360. Well it appears they took all the clearance THPG games for the 360 trashed the slipcases and marked them up for full price and put them in the game case now. This was the Oaks, PA Target. Just an FYI they still haven't fixed the DDR2 bundle with game and dancepad price at this store. The tag is still there that reads $19.99 so you could still get the second bundle for that price if you wanted.

Are you sure it was the Tony Hawk LE's? My local Target had the same deal, but had the original version of Tony Hawk in the case. The Limited Editions game case artwork is the same as what's on the slipcase, doesn't make sense to throw away the slipcase because the image is the same underneath.

I guess I must be mistaken then. I thought only the LE from Target had a Guitar Hero Demo inside and I saw that on the ones that were in the case and figured they trashed the slipcovers.

Guess they went and salvaged them because they were NO WHERE to be found.

The gaming chair mentioned somewhere in here raised its head. I think it was called a Flex and they are "hot" colored fluorescent type fold up ground chairs. There were pink, orange and a bright blue left at the $24 mark.

Also the 500Gb WD harddrives were stil $139.xx at my target.

I'm hoping these have another drop later today - they've been sitting in huge quantities at two of my Targets for about two weeks, and my son would like one.

I don't see many of them around, only 2 really. It hit 30 and I nabbed it, worth it for the wife. Depends on how bad you want it but the game itself is pretty good from what I've seen.
 
i went to another target and saw F.E.A.R. PH version there but the self scan said 29.99, also the same for Madden 07 but my question is would they ring up differently at the register or with that little scanner thing that some of the employees have?? reason i ask is at another target I tried madden 06 and it rang up price not found as did THPG LE but the little scanner had the right prices for each and even the register didn't recognize THPG in their system... crap I shoulda asked too I really want fear

They'd hold an adult I think (they look pretty sturdy), but they're kind of like stadium folding chairs and don't have a full back.

Not sure if this is the PC version you're speaking of, but if so, check out the CC Insanity thread. I just bought the entire FEAR series for about $20.

Grabbed the last Ninja Gaiden Sigma for $30 and also a copy of GRAW 2 for $20. There was still 1 GRAW 2 left if anybody wants it. This was at the Sterling Hts., MI store
 
I scanned a copy of GRAW (Xbox360) today thinking it may have dropped to $7.50 since it was $14.98 last week. It came up at $29.99 and was titled, "Xbox 360 Assorted". Anybody else come across this? I'm sure I could get it for the $14.98 price it's marked with but I'm surprised that it was marked up and not kicked from the system.
Now that I think about it, dose the PH have the same UPC? That would explain alot.

I saw that too. What is really wierd about that is that I got the very same game for $4.98 about a year ago on clearance at Target. I've never seen that happen before :lol:.

Lots of stuff at a far-away Target that my local one doesn't have. Probably the same as everyone else is seeing: Blue Dragon for $29.98, Bee Movie Game for $24.98, Spiderman Friend or Foe for $24.98. My kids were playing the PS2 version of that game at a GC one day and they seemed to like it. I assumed it was a last-gen only game - I had no idea there even WAS a 360 version. If it drops to $9.98 or $12.48 I'll pick it up (I forget what the original price was - anyone know - if it was $49.99 I guess it will only go to $14.98 before being salvaged around these parts). Also, THPG for Wii for $34.98 I think, and the new Avatar game for $34.98 or $24.98 (Wii also). And Super Swing Golf for $24.98. Shrek 3 for the DS was $14.98 I think... Lots of PC games too. Zoo Tycoon collection was $13.98. My daughter really wants that for her birthday so I'm hoping it hits $4.98 (original price was $19.99 on that one). A store in Virginia (Springfield) had it for $9.98 - sucks that the one here has it for $13.98 now. Springfield also had Blue Dragon and the Bee Movie in case anyone is interested. I bought Blue Dragon at full price and it was well worth it - though, of course, I now wish I had waited ;).
 
IO, Spiderman should drop to 12.48 at 75% off and I bought a Gameboy Player a few months back for 15ish @ 75% off and it was weird because a year or so ago I had seen 3 on clearance at Target for 30, thought it was a little much and figured I'd get one cheap on ebay. A few days later I think to check ebay and keel over when they're going for 120+ new! Of course, when I went back all of them were gone. Anyway, it was weird to see one which I had never seen in that store before (must have been pulled from the back) and in the system on clearance again (not As Is).

D'oh! Of course, even though I said $49.99 I was thinking of 75% off $59.99 (which would be $14.98). Anyone that can score Blue Dragon at $14.98 is a lucky bastard. Spiderman Friend or Foe doesn't seem quite the same deal at $12.48 - that's just barely low enough for me to consider that one... But Target has been such a wasteland recently in terms of clearance stuff I may just have to buy it for old times' sake ;).
 
My local Target FINALLY had its drops everyone has been experiencing. I snagged the only copy of Ninja Gaiden Sigma at 29.98. They also had a couple copies of Jericho and one copy of Folklore. If anyone is in the area it was the Target at Polaris, OH.

I'm off work today so I thought I would check my local store. Nothing new although they did have a crapload of the new blue DS Lite systems if anyone is trying to find them. I'm not sure if these are hard to find. This was the Target off of Chouteau Trwy and I-35 in Kansas City.
