Target coupon- 5 dollars off 25 dollar purchase

This thread is for clearance-- not for sale items, or raincheck "scams." Price reductions for clearance seem to happen on Monday, although not every Monday. Target often donates its older clearance titles to Goodwill stores, so keep that in mind when you're trying to find items. Some info from BigDirty: "Further reduction is possible when a game's price ends with 8 cents. However, when it ends in 4 cents it will NOT drop anymore. If it ends in 9 cents, it's just on sale or on a non-clearance reduction."

When posting deals, please include city, state, store, game, system and price. For example:
Mesa, AZ Power Road at Superstition Springs
Super Soup Soufflé, Xbox 360, $4.98

Special thanks to Mephitical for this great tool for locating clearance titles which is located here. Go to Amazon or Target to find the item's ASIN. When you find it, replace "B000O3IS48" in the URL with your item's ASIN. This will take you to a page asking you for your zip code. Type in your zip code and click enter-- this will display a list of local stores and whether or not they have your item in stock. YMMV on it working properly.

Here is a fairly easy way to check if your local Target has the games on clearance-- often games will not be tagged correctly. Thanks to BigDirty for this:
1) Go to Half.com or a similar site. Search for the game to locate its UPC code number. It's in the gray box underneath the box art graphic.
2) Go to UPC Data ,Milk.com , or UPC Database and enter the code so you can print out the UPC. Go to Target and use the price scanners to scan your printouts.

Remember, the lowest known price will be posted since the listed item could be higher or lower at your store. Here are the current deals:

If my target has 3 copies of Blue Dragon for sale right now (Sunday) for $30 is there still a chance it could be clearanced again tomorrow maybe down to the $15 or is the clearance price of $30 as low as it's gonna be?

Unknown, you can try stashing a copy and wait for the other two to be marked down, that is if they don't sell at the $30 price point.

I think they give a wk for that but, they don't adjust clearance prices so I bought it when they placed it on shelves again.

There is a chance. Call and ask. I'd probably wait until the evening though, since most stores tend to apply a new round of clearance prices mid-day to late afternoon.

Nope. They happen every weekday depending on the department. It will deviate slightly from store-to-store based on stock and workload, but this is pretty reliable:

Mark Down Schedule ​

-Tues. -- Domestics, Women's Clothing, Pets and Market (food items)​

This is the case at my Target I should have said... I guess my store doesn't have much to mark down so they do it all in one day.. I actually spoke to the lady doing the marking down.

It can never hurt to actually talk to the employees and be friendly. Most are very candid about what day and time they do stuff like markdowns at their store.

I was in a Target around noon today (Mon) and they were doing price adjustments in the Electronics department but they skipped all the existing clearance games and moved on to another area. It looks like they might have put a few new DS games on clearance but nothing spectacular - whatever it was was $19.99 -> $13.98. But they definitely left things like Spiderman Friend or Foe and Bee Movie Game untouched at the prices they have been for a few weeks. So I assume the same for Blue Dragon (which this store didn't have any more of - all sold at $30 apparently as they had several a few days ago).

I too am waiting for Blue Dragon to drop to 15ish. There is a store near me that has 2x copies at $30 but no drop in the last couple weeks.

Additionally, I looked up the DCPI for Blue Dragon and tried to put it into the price scanner at Target. It came up as item not in system. Do I need to print a Bar Code and scan it? If so, how?

Just picked up Lego Star Wars original trilogy for 360 for $9.98 and PGR3 also for $9.98. They had about 12 copies of the Lego game at my local store.

Wilkes-Barre, PA Target has shit left of the next gen/current gen stuff, but they DID have 2 different LCD TV's(BOTH 19" only) on clearance. One was like $300 something, the other was $200 something. I didn't get any DCPI's or anything, since they didn't interest me.

Picked up Timeshift (pc) for 12.48 & Guild Wars: Eye of the North for 9.99. Guild Wars was just a price drop not a clearanced title.

Saw these clearance pc titles: Tabula Rasa (12.48), Kane & Lynch (12.48), Universe at War (24.99), Jericho (14.xx). Also saw about 10 copies of Blue Dragon for 24.xx. and Jericho (ps3) 24.xx Plus saw alot of copies of Folklore so hopefully it'll be dropping from the current 29.xx to 14.xx in the coming weeks and I'll be able to snag it up.

I considered picking up Kane & Lynch at 12 bucks, so anyone who has played it let me know if its worth it at that price.
