I have seen this discussed in various threads so I figure it deserved its own.

Target has :ps3: :360: NASCAR '14 for $15 (in store only as there is no listing on the website). The YMMV is because people have reported it ringing up at regular price and/or not having a sale sign. I myself was able to grab a :360: copy and get a rain check for a :ps3: copy.

Grabbed me a 360 copy earlier today. I really liked Nascar The Game: Inside Line, so definitely happy to get this for $15. They didn't have the one with the Target DLC doe. :(

Got one. Will trade this one in for $28.60 at Best Buy. :D Nice Thread find.

 
I was just gonna post this in the target ad thread. Picked a 360 copy w/dlc to play tonight and flip to BBY lol. Anyone know how much it's going for at GS?
 
Target carries some copies that are UPC specific so there's a chance they get rejected depending on Walmart.

My local store's entire stock of 10 copies were Target branded per the pic. Couldn't find a vanilla one.

You can only trade up to 3!!! SO 3!!! :D

If you have GCU, which there is a free version where you don't have to pay, unless they changed it. It gives you 10% more. I traded that game in and Battlefield 4 on Xbox One which I bought for around $26 and traded in for about $36 after GCU and then this game for about $28.60. :)

I think it's a lot less. Oh, btw, ACIV on 360 trades in for over $20 there at gamestop and I wanted to keep my case so that's about what I got. They took $4 from me. Idk why. They never did before. I didn't want to trade in the steelbook case. Stupid gamestop and I had to preorder a game to get it to that price. So I would've had about $25. ACIV is $20 Brand New at BB just in case you wanted to flip something. Not much profit, but if you have reward points to spend or gift cards at BB.

Doesn't look like this is nationwide but going to try to get one tomorrow morning. Does anyone have an inventory checker?

EDIT: nvm, every store in my area has it in stock.

That's a good point, no idea how strict Walmart is with those special copies yet. I got one to flip to GS yesterday but may grab another in case I can get to a BB this week.
 
You can tell by looking at the cover. The target one has a little blurb saying exclusive dlc on it. The UPC for the target will come up as unknown at bestbuy and walmart. Just do it as a disk only trade in if you get the target branded version.

edit: might want to grab it while you can too, people are grabbing them fast. The first day it went on sale the two targets I went to had around 15 copies each of the ps3/360 versions. Went back to target again the next day with the gf to pick up some household items and they were completely sold out.

walmart wont accept disc only

 
I went to my local Target store in Mayfield Heights, Ohio yesterday and they had NASCAR '14 on sale for $15 both PS3 and 360, so I snagged the last couple of copies. Hopefully it's still active in the other Cleveland-area stores. Or the Mayfield one restocks.

Bone dry at the local Target. I was pissed because the display ones didn't have any Target logos on them. I was about to try to buy but decided it wasn't worth it.

Do you mean that the last time you checked, the display copies didn't have any logos yet you didn't buy them at that time, but when you went back, they were gone?

When I was looking for them they were all sold out. The display copy had no logo so I assume the other copies didn't either. I could be wrong though. Just have to wait for the next resupply to be sure.

So the display copy was available to buy? You shouldn't have had any problems getting it if so.

I used to troll in Nascar Inside Line with my friends all the time last summer. It took a while to get good at it if you're playing it serious. I used a racing wheel, which works pretty well with it.

You guys might want to unload your nascars right away coz i doubt the tiv will hold up for long time. I beleive bby has been proactive with regards to tivs. And considering this game has no real potential to do well in the used game market of bestbuy, i would assume bestbuy will tank the tiv within thia week once the trade numbers for has been analyzed and reported.

Not sure about walmart though. Hehe

Thanks for making this post OP. I was able to find a copy for Xbox 360 and PS3. Both of them had the Target DLC label. I removed the cover art from the case and just traded in the game with the case and manual. If anyone wants the DLC code for PS3 PM me.
