The WM card looks really solid this year, but I'll be damned if I drop $55 or whatever to buy it.
No Buffalo Wild Wings or any sports bar in your area that might have the PPV on?

In a perfect world Shelton would get his long-overdue MtiB win. As it stands now, all he ever does is get the biggest 'HOLY SHIT!" spot in the match year after year.

Kofi will probably get that last spot, then McIntyre will either get added in as an extra or they'll do something like have a triple threat on Smackdown this week with Drew, Hardy and Kane where the winner gets in and the person pinned is out.

Even with that, Christian should probably still win - would set up some interesting things with Edge.

Guess what's on Netflix instant streaming now?

After ex-Navy Seal Bobby Kalinowsky (Rob Van Dam) accidentally kills a man who accosted his wife in a club, the slain man's brother (Jerry Katz) puts a $100,000 bounty on his head in this action flick packed with wrestling superstars. With every thug in the city gunning for him, Bobby has to rely on his combat survival training and his old friend Ronnie (David Bautista) to keep himself and his family alive.

It's also got Ja Rule in it! Heh.

Yeah, I saw that the other day. I have it in my instant q and will probably watch it one day soon. Its only 85 minutes so even if it sucks it won't be too long.

It's about time Christian got pushed into the main event. Guy's been putting on consistently good matches on ECW and the PPVs for a while now.

What? Piper's movies were awesome. They Live is a classic.

WrestleMania 26 will be the first WrestleMania where an active and uninjured Triple H will not be wrestling for a heavyweight championship of any sort since WrestleMania 17. This was the longest active streak ever for a wrestler to contend for a heavyweight championship at consecutive WrestleManias in the history of the WWE. At WrestleMania 17, he fought Undertaker in a non title match. Since then, every match Triple H has had at a WrestleMania has been for a heavyweight championship.

WrestleMania 18 vs Chris Jericho for the Undisputed Title,
WrestleMania 19 vs Booker T for the World Heavyweight Championship
WrestleMania 20 vs Shawn Michaels and Chris Benoit for the World Heavyweight Championship
WrestleMania 21 vs Batista for the World Heavyweight Championship
WrestleMania 22 vs John Cena for the WWE Championship
WrestleMania 24 vs Randy Orton and John Cena for the WWE Championship
WrestleMania 25 vs Randy Orton for the WWE Championship

- Triple H was injured and did not wrestle at WrestleMania 23.

The new active streak for consecutive WrestleMania appearances wrestling for a heavyweight championship is John Cena, with WrestleMania 26 marking his sixth consecutive WrestleMania match wrestling for a heavyweight championship of some sort.

WrestleMania 21 vs JBL for the WWE Championship
WrestleMania 22 vs Triple H for the WWE Championship
WrestleMania 23 vs Shawn Michaels for the WWE Championship
WrestleMania 24 vs Randy Orton and Triple H for the WWE Championship
WrestleMania 25 vs Edge and Big Show for the World Heavyweight Championship
WrestleMania 26 vs Batista for the WWE Championship

I think I'd noted that about Triple H before.

I wouldn't count him out yet. Three=way w/ Batista and Cena? Stranger things have happened.

In regards to the Tomko thing... yikes. When you see that, you sort of understand why WWE dumped him, which really does sort of beg the question of what he's been doing since then and now. Obviously the answer isn't 'working out'.

Anyway, Impact tonight. Honestly, I can't even get excited. They fooled me once with the January 4th Impact and it just isn't happening again. If it turns out to be worthwhile, I'll catch it online.

Oh, and the 'spoiler' wrestlers that might be showing up? Meh.

I believe plans were for HHH to wrestle Cena for the spinning belt that year, too.

From Joey Styles on his Twitter account:

The Undertaker will be live on RAW tonight on USA Network to start the broadcast at 9PM EST. What will The Deadman have to say to HBK?

I'll answer that with another question:

Who gives a shit?

Jeff Hardy & Shannon Moore are confirmed for tonight's Impact show, as has Sting. Also, Al Snow is backstage working as an agent for TNA.

Oh, and David Hasselhoff is hosting Raw on April 12th when they're in London. Secretly hoping for Baywatch Santino.

I hope I get out of work before 9. If not, I have a TV here... but if I get done at - say - 9:30, I'll be forced to stay until 11, so I don't miss anything during the drive home. :|

Watching an episode of Gangland on Nazi Skinheads right now (despite how I hate how the media incorrectly uses the term "skinhead" to refer to "Nazi skinheads," but I digress).

Forgot about something I noticed waaaaay back in ECW (somewhere b/w 94-96 when the "Bruise Brothers" were a tag team there).

Can you spot the weak-ass coverup job?

Those are Ron and Don Harris.

The Harris Brothers sucked... One of the worst parts of WCW 2000.

And TNA's former "hyuck hyuck" writer, "Dirty" Dutch Mantel.

EDIT:
06.jpg

"SS" tattoo still visible, but harder to see. Keep in mind, y'all know I'm PC as fuck and have been for...well, longer than the early days of ECW, apparently. ;)

Also: S.E.X. Jesus fuckin' Christ. #-o

That's funny how they report McMahon doesn't think of TNA as a threat, yet they're plugging the opening segment and putting McMahon vs. Cena in the main event.
TNA had had S.E.X. and The Dicks? Man, that's quality writing.
Didn't they also use to have strippers in cages at the entrance ramp during the weekly PPVs?

I would swear I could remember a midget fighting up there and one of the strippers (Lollipop?) get her top ripped off but...

watching this other wrestling show this first hour with friends prior to the monday night wars and this tyler guy just dropped the f-bomb! we were laughing our asses off! haha

This text is here so I can type in all caps.

YES!!!! fuck HOGAN!!!!

That was really good what they did with saying it's not over. Kudos to the new booking.

I turned to TNA and saw Flair's body gloss in sweat and the shit hurt my eyes...so I turned back to see Undertaker in his eye liner

I marked out pretty hard when Flair and Sting stared each other down.

hahahaha @ King talking about Eve's shitty dropkicks...
