That was definitely an awesome Birdman. Between last week with Birdgirl and this week with this episode, it's starting to become one of my favorite [as] originals.
I don't know...it was good, but they made too many jokes about the animation during the fifteen minutes.

Great change of pace, though. Especially since they kept the "BIIIIIIIIIIIRDMAAAAAAAN!" at the end of the episode. :D
What's with this? The OTT is deader than Sblymnl's dick at a 16 and over concert.
:hot: That was uncalled for good Sir Mouse!
The floors in your kitchen don't have those damn non-slip mats in them? Or was this after they were taken up...
That was before they got put down.

Hell, I was going to read that for "fun".

Man, I'm having a tough time coming up with an essay for the C-SPAN Call-in 25th Anniversary Contest

I'm having a serious problem with tone. I originally wanted to write an essay about how important the voice of the people is for democracy and angle that with C-SPAN.

"The power of democracy is not imbued in a piece of parchment or some statute. It is derived from the voice and will of the people. C-SPAN is the definitive source in hearing that voice. Through their call-in programs, I can listen to citizens from across the United States. I listen in the hope to better understand my fellow Americans. I listen so I can understand myself. I listen so I can understand my nation."

But that's just too pretentious. Not to mention I really need to work in an example of my favorite moment which is something they requested and would probaly be judged on.

But then, once I dwell on one of my favorite moments, the whole essay bogs down in mundanity. So I'm having a problem reconciling the pretentiousness of my original idea with the mundanity of everyday events.

As for the favorite moment I'm using, I've currently settled on when Peter Hart did a two hour polling session with women from Wisconson. Then he recieved a half hour of calls. Basically, caller after caller proceeded to berate the women for being politically ignorant. And Peter then had to defend them as actually quite savvy when compared to the average American. I guess not savvy enough for the C-SPAN crowd. I think there are a lot of lessons in that series.

I really want to win that grand prize though and host an hour on the show.

Just the inferno? You should really read the entire divine comedy.

You mean you didn't read it on your own for fun in middle school? Loser

Ok, finished the first 8 Cantos and answered 15 out of 72 questions total. Now I'm off to school to fix my schedule and I'm getting a ride from two ladieeees.........I need a license........bad.
OTTs really suck when I don't partake.
I'm sure those may be seen as fighting words to some, Kayden. :D
I mean, that's like trying to usurp a title like "Icon" or "Legend".
I think you're still working up the grind and could probably manage something like a "self-proclaimed" at best

I can think of one instance of one of those titles, though can't think of any others.

Self-proclaimed is just one step from delusional, anyway.
Mariah Carey has officially moved to the "cougar you'd do" list.

In other news, I have saved the universe from both the 3rd Reich and Time Master.

And Tombstone is an absolute badass.

Noooo! I didn't get enough parts (16/30) to take off safely. Now I at least know where a bunch of these parts are and can work more dilligently to get as many as possible.

Man, I think John Madden is doing an impersonation of Frank Caliendo doing John Madden tonight. I mean, he's especially rambline.

"Well he got a tackle, because he had to go a long way, and bam, he tackled the guy."

How is the second game? I've been meaning to play it, but I don't think I'll be getting around to it before I move into school...
Dammit! I forgot to watch Birdman last night! :bomb:
You better stick this in your head for reference: Watch AS on Thursday at 12:15 to catch it or DL it from the link punq posted, I think, for sblymnl.
How is the second game? I've been meaning to play it, but I don't think I'll be getting around to it before I move into school...
I thought it was good. It's a little easy, so they use tricks to up the difficulty.

For example there's oone mission where you playi it, and then have to play it over again. And another mission that's really annoying where you have to protect one character while hye fiddles with his suit, and you can't let him get hit or he starts all over again. And you have to do that twice.

But on the whole it's a good game. And it has some nice twists and turns, which is what I liked about the first series.

And they have two really inventive characters. The first is Green genie. She's a week combatant, but she has a ton of altreration powers. She can turn villians into potted plants. So, if you get swarmed by three or four, have her transform them. She can also turn villians into good guys. So she could turn a nazi into a cop. It's really a fun and inventive superhero. Perfect for support.

I had one mission where I couldn't let the enemy touch civilians. Because the civ's would turn into villians. I had one bad guy get too close to a civ. So I had her turn the villian into a potted plant. And then had her pick up the plant and throw it away from the civillians. When it landed the plant turned back to the villian, but now e was out of reach of any civ's. It was just something I thought up on the fly. So she's pretty cool.

And then there's Tombstone. He's the FF version of Batman. An innocent man framed for qa murder he didn't commit. Imbuded by the power of Energy X during his electrocution. He's an absolute badass character.

First, he has a ton of hit points. Can deflect bullets. Can shoot stunning bullets that a lot of enemies are vulnerable. Has some strong punches. And has some nasty effects. FHe can possess an enemy and basically that enemy becomes one of your heroes for awhile. And he can posess some of the more powerful henchmen. Then, he can hex an enemy so they can't use any powers that cost Energy X. So that'll keep them from using their powerful attacks. And finally, he can turn invulnerable for short periods of time.

Also, you'll never guess who El Diablo is going to marry!

Edit: I am Ackbar, killer of OTTs!

Best Buy used to have it in their value software section for $10. They might still have it.

You know, the trailer for Wicker Park is completely, COMPLETELY different from the movie. It makes it look like an awesome stalker movie or something, but it's really not. I was pissed.

But the soundtrack is insanely

So this may raise a dry smile, remember many moons ago when I created that "what do you do with a depressed girlfriend" topic? Well it basically started off with me trying to deal with a girl that I cared about very much, yet she just never seemed really happy. Anyway, it goes on for awhile, and ultimately ends with me breaking up with her.

Well like most crazy people (and sane people) she keeps a live journal. Obviously she'd never show me the link to it, but unfortunately for her I kept the link to her bestfriend's LJ and well she posts on that...

Anyway, she's probably been writing in this thing for the past oh say 3 months or so, and every now and then when I need a laugh I know right where to go! The newest thing is about a page and a half of how insecure she is with herself, and how she hates being alone now that her new boyfriend lives 2 hours away. It gets even better though, as she's started smoking to deal with all that stress.

I know I'm evil, it's cruel of me, but I just take great pleasure in knowing that I'm no longer with el-psycho-maximo-a, especially as she seems to have continued on that downward spiral towards complete paranoia.

You gonna share that link with us, ZL?

Unless those "two ladieees" are your mom and your grandma I fail to see the problem.

Spice it up with Mrs. Dash!

Homemade pancakes are good...but when they aren't mixed properly and you hit a giant sour lump of uncooked dough? Yuck.

I'd learn to cook if it weren't for the fact that I'm not going to need to in college...or for now, at least. Meal plan ahoy!
