Eddie Royal nearly pulled it off for brown. That's nuts. I imagine a lot of leagues will have people scrambling to claim him off waivers this week.

I hit a mission in Ass Creed last night that was much harder than the ones I'd done so far.

Just started mem block 5 and it's an informer who wants me to off 3 guys but they are in an area swarming with guards and they were already suspecting me for some reason. I end up getting chased before I take out all 3 and get back to the informer. The 2nd time I gave it a shot I did get all 3 but decided not to blend walk the entire way back to the informer and was exposed 10-15 meters away from him. :wall: I ended up just going for the 'defeat 25 soldiers in a single combat' and 'last 10 minutes in combat' cheese and put off the informer mission for a bit. :lol:

Yeah my character hadn't learned it yet when I asked about it before.

But I usually just use the long sword. Then if I miss the counter timing he still blocks most of the time and once I knock the Templar down I just slice him up before he gets back on his feet. It's not a 1 hit kill but it's just as effective especially if there aren't other guards around. The combo hit is a PITA but countering is pretty easy.

Played it on the PS3.
Most people seem to progress at least from the long blade to the short blade as the game goes on and their combat skill goes up.
The hidden blade technique could prove undeniably useful... it saved my ass during the 9th assassination, I think... or the 8th. Whichever the last one in the 3rd city is.
