I find it to be a timid knock-off of "My Last Breath", but like James Storm's knock-off of "Electric Rodeo", it's good, and capture what makes the original song so good in the first place. I love Christian's last WWE theme though, and I like it more than TNA's theme for him, which fits him, but I just don't find it to be as good as his last WWE theme.

I find myself not really remembering Christian's last WWE theme; I remember the first one, a Bohemian Rhapsody knock-off. That opening line "Christian! Christian!" went on to the next 2-3 entrance themes, and I fucking hated it.

I have the same feelings about Edge's "You think you know me" line going into all of his entrances, too. Maybe it's not there anymore, but I've learned to tune the damned things out. The only WWE entrance songs I've liked in the last 5 years are Benoit's, and both Hardys.

I do like the TNA entrances of Christian, Storm, and LAX.

Edge's current theme (assuming he doesn't return with a new one) doesn't have the "you think you know me" line in it. I hated it too but I like his current theme.

Just watched Genesis.

Great Pay-Per-View.

Team 3-D are incredible heels.

ICB, his first theme wasn't that song, it was the one on WWF The Music Volume 4, which was used for some Heat matches. His last WWE theme was "Don't Close Your Eyes" by Waterproof Blonde.

There were two verisons of that theme. One was good, the other was crap.

I like Christian's TNA theme as well as Angle, Booker T, and Rhino. I really liked Jamie Noble's old theme too. I do wish they would have switched up Booker's theme altogether, but the remixed version is decent. Hell, anything is better than the King Booker theme.

I like Christian's TNA theme. I wish they didn't have to change LAX's original theme or Joe's Godzilla theme. Joe's new remixed Godzilla is awful.

Why did they change the LAX theme? I really dig that one, but I may be biased as a huge fan of LAX. Can't wait until they reveal the new member.

Things aren't looking good for Gregory Helms

Gregory Helms' rehab after neck surgery isn't going as well as hoped. Helms has significant nerve damage in one of his arms, which is largely numb. On the other hand, Helms is recovering fine from his neck injury. There is no timetable for Helms' return to the ring.

getting ready to head out to survivor series.... nothing on the card has me really pumped though.. im more interested in jericho tomm..

That's a pity. Although I still kind of view Helms (and Shannon Moore) as a poor man's version of the Hardys, his mic work with the Rock was classic. Plus he's a pretty good wrestler.

I like how McMahon made him change his name from Shane to Gregory.

That's some egomaniacal shit, right there.
I'd assume for no other reason than his real name is Greg?
He was an established WCW champion (Cruiser, Tag, Hardcore and Triple Tag) as Shane Helms.

You know damn well the way Vince is; Didn't want another "Shane".

WWE's done the same thing for other people (like Lance Cade) - it wasn't just Vince being an egomaniac. mykevermin, they changed it because Konnan's all over it. I don't see why they couldn't just take his stuff out and keep the song the way it is, because the revamped version just... sounds awful. The news about Helms sucks, hopefully his nerve damage can be repaired, or if he retires, WWE gives him a road agent job.

Survivor Series predictions: (hopefully it'll make up for more horrible bfg ones)

Great Khali vs. Hornswoggle
Good girls vs. Bad girls in 10 man tag
Cade and Murdoch vs. Rhodes and Holly
CM Punk vs. Miz vs. Morrison
Team Triple H vs. Team Umaga
Batista vs. Undertaker
Orton vs. Michaels

Half these matches came outta nowhere when I checked wwe.com as I haven't heard any storyline about 'em

Hmm... I'll try too.

Great Khali vs. Hornswoggle (I'm predicting this will end in some totally "hilarious" manner with Hornswoggle getting a pin and Vince looking dumb again.)
Good girls vs. Bad girls in 10 man tag (Since Beth Phoenix is unbeatable and all...)
Cade and Murdoch vs. Rhodes and Holly (They do like the rivals as tag team partners angle nowadays apparently, so yeah I agree.)
CM Punk vs. Miz vs. Morrison
Team Triple H vs. Team Umaga (It could be HHH period versus Team Umaga and it would still have the same result. Theres no way in hell HHH loses.)
Batista vs. Undertaker (I'm going undertaker too mostly because I don't really care either way.)
Orton vs. Michaels (I'm going to say Orton just because its different than you. I have no idea how it'll end really. I'd just rather see Jericho fight Orton is all.)

Hopefully, we can get a stream because I want to see which order they do the matches. I'll probably go to bed before Orton vs. HBK but I hope that they incorporate Jericho in a sinceable way but knowing Vince & Company they will just mess it up.

Seriously, RAW and ECW (forgot to watch SD) were the best I've seen in months, and then this PPV seemed like it was just another TV show. That, and there really wasn't a single meaningful event in the entire show, other than Edge returning. I really wish they'd mix it up a bit more, throw in some new rivalries. I'm tired of constantly seeing ____ vs. ____, but this time they're in a cage.

Explain the Shane Douglas name change, then.

I guarantee he changed their names because of his son's name.

Few of my fav highlights from yesterday-

-The "We Want Shaq" chants during the horns and khali match.

-Melina missing the leg split during her entrance

-HBK using the crippler crossface

I just watched The Rundown and that should be put on a pedestal as what WWE Films should strive for.

It isn't perfect but it's a decent fun action flick and about a million times better than The Condemned.

The Rundown was a really good film. It was funny, it had good action, and it was just fun to watch. I think it might just be the fact that The Rock needs to be in every WWE Film. He's just cool to watch most of the time.
i saw about half of condemned this weeked.. have to finish it..

i didnt think it was that bad and i like the story....
Watch Battle Royale.

Same premise. Better movie.

So, I found Survivor Series kind of... meh. It's an A show, but it seemed like a B PPV. Nothing happened, aside from Edge coming back, which wasn't really a big deal. In fact, I would've much rather seen a clean finish in the HIAC, so that was sort of a bittersweet thing. Yay for Edge, nay for match. Though, really, i just want that damn title off Batista. Then, if I had to try and write a story for him that *didn't* involve chasing or holding the title, I'd keep it on him, too. Mic skills FTL.

So, the one thing about last night that stood out that I need to mention, since I've been thinking about that very thing a lot lately, is HBK's use of the Crippler Crossface. For a lot of people, it was way too soon to be using it, and it's sort of surprising that Vince let it happen, since it became a banned manuver, and I wouldn't think Vince would want the connotations. Anyway, onto my point, the one I've really been thinking about.

I miss Chris Benoit. I really, truly, honestly miss watching him perform.

Seeing the crossface performed again really drove that home. After the disappointment of SvR2008, I went back to playing 2006, and I still can't help but using Benoit. This has nothing to do with Benoit the man, or the 'incident'... it's just about missing the performer, the man with the energy and passion that always made him exciting to watch, no matter the opponent. Agree or disagree, I just really had to throw that out there after seeing that.

Now, I have to cut the post a bit short, as Fire Pro just showed up. Rock.

Really, everything that is wrong in the WWE is represented in that movie.

You have a ripped off premise, hackneyed writing, racist stereotypes, miscasted performers (Stone Cold and Vinnie Jones should have switched roles), all the women with their tits pushed up to their chin and they just couldn't to figure out whether they were aiming their product for tweens or adults (Condemned is the weakest R-rated movie I have ever seen, there's no reason it couldn't have been PG-13 or even better a hard R)

I got Fire Pro in over the weekend and its the first FP game i've ever played. All i can say is either i really suck or this is one of the hardest games i've ever played.

Trust me, you just really suck at it.

It takes awhile to get a hang of the timing. -edit Also think of it as a "real" match, start with strikes and weak grapples to wear down your opponent and then move to strong grapples.
