I really hope Flair makes a solid comeback and can have his retirement match at WM24.

On a side note, anyway you could put that pic into some spoiler tags ZD? The screen is being stretched out a bit.
But then he'll get cheers.
Cheers or not, it would have been worth it. :applause: Where's Stone Cold when you need him?
Jesus fuck, Melina has to be hurt.

Why would they let women do flippy moves but not Londrick and the cruiserweights?
Because Londrick botches more things than anyone. They take too many risks in the ring and usually look stupid doing it.

Sorry, nobody botches more than the divas. Which is why I'm surprised they allowed her not only to go to the top but to do a 450 flip.

YAY, Hornswoggle just pinned Carlito AND spit in his face. I can't wait for him to main event the Impact Zone and cut a promo on his FORMER EMPLOYER!~ while Mike and Don have 15 orgasms introducing him.

Congrats to Norman for getting a tryout match, although given his incredible talent and advanced age, I'm a bit disappointed they haven't just hired him as a Finlay-ish trainer/wrestler for ECW. Given his worldwide experience, he'd be a great asset for them.

I'm happy he's back.

But he looks like an 80's music video stand-in reject.

But that's okay, because he's Jericho and he's awesome.

//edit: This return should've happened earlier tonight. And I agree that they fucked it up with the pose by the torch runner.

He'd make a great circus ringmaster.

He looks really happy to be back, so I guess that's good. Although clotheslining the torch-runner was really anti-climactic.

So far, 1st coming > 2nd coming, by far.

I agree. I'm stcked that he's back, but in no way does this compare to The Countdown to the Millenium.

Also, he seems a lot more...flamboyant this time around.

He's working the Brandon Flowers look.

Did it live up to the hype? Almost.

Although I marked out like crazy for his return, his promo wasn't all that great. The problem was that his timing is way off for the audience to connect with and his voice is raspy as hell, like the bass in his voice is just gone. Otherwise it was awesome to see him return. A lot of his retorts were going over people's heads too and you can hear the audience pausing, trying to catch up to what Jericho was saying.

Great countdown...but his overall attitude and I dunno, cockiness, dissappointed me

Loved the Orton character tonight...came in at random segments just to rko guys

Yeah, the clothesline was a bit anti-climactic, and his voice was a bit weird from what I remembered. But still, when his theme hit I can't say I wasn't smiling from ear to ear.

He looked extremely happy to be there, and thats good enough for me. I'll have to say for once I wasn't completely disappointed with RAW.

I'm just hoping it's not because WWE offered him x amount of $

Well, guys, let's enjoy it while it lasts. Jericho's one of the last of a dying breed when it comes to all-around great performers that always seem to enjoy the business. Hopefully he sticks around for awhile.

That shirt though... very... flamboyant, even for Y2J.

I enjoyed that very much though. Jericho needs to open the show next week, or better yet have Flair as a guest on his talk show!

I've not read the thread yet, as I'm still watching Raw, but I haven't laughed as loud as I did hearing Santino say "hey, look at me, I'm Jerry Stupid Lawler" as I have in a long, long, long time.

Lower your expectations for the Y2J promo.

Like Santino on a bad day low.

And apparently his outfit is exactly the same thing when he made his first debut...

Huh. I was just ready to say that, b/w Santino and Mr. Kennedy's "father time" promo, the writers are either on the ball, or they're letting guys ad lib/write their own promos a bit more. Both really struck me as genuine and believable (as well as entertaining, most importantly).

I most likely will reencode this to not look so bad tommorow. But enjoy for tonight for those who missed it.

Man Y2J's debut sucked and the crowd wasn't feeling it at all,i think they are trying to hard to rehash the y2j and rock fued.
The Heavy On Wrestling Show in Duluth, Minn., drew anywhere from 500 to 850 people, according to people at the show. However, Jake “the Snake” Roberts showed up intoxicated and worked a three-minute match; apparently, a snake handler had brought a snake to the building, but he refused to let Roberts use his snake because of the shape he was in. Also, Rikishi didn’t show up until almost intermission, and Christy Hemme said she was injured and didn’t wrestle, so she was a referee instead.
Jesus....
