Yes. Its not 100% even because apparently the walls in the hall werent entirely level. But its pretty good. Still needs some cosmetic touching up, like moulding to cover up all the rough stuff.

I feel badass everytime I use the door, its great.

That's awesome. I have some walls that aren't even either, hence a reason why I'm building my next home.

This is an interesting read. Anyway, off to work. Home Depot still has not called! I need to pick up some sandpaper tomorrow. Maybe I'll talk with a manager tomorrow.

I thought it was just previews? In the MP 8 thread he says he's going to talk about it on next week's podcast... but isn't that what Cheapy and Wombat already do, talk about new releases and stuff?

I guess I'm just kind of confused - is one the official CAG podcast, and the other is a spinoff? Or are they both the official podcasts?

I only listened to one CAGcast but it just seemed to be two guys talking about the games that are out and what they are playing and don't like, but I've checked enough of the CAGcast threads to see they at least talk about new games, since someone always get mad at their opinion.

I had been planning on getting one, and then I stopped caring.

Now I kind of do want one again, as there are some games coming out that definitely look interesting to me.

Well, Resident Evil 4 and No More Heroes both are making me lean towards getting one. Also, Manhunt 2 seems like it would make good use of the Wiimote.

It could just be that I've been wanting to play a horror game lately, and RE4 coming out on the Wii makes me more interested.

No More Heroes looks like it could be pretty good. Any word on if it's going to get a multiplatform release as Killer7 did?

manhunt 1 just felt weird to play. manhunt 2 looks just plain wrong. I didn't think you would ever be able to rip a guys nuts and vertebrae off in a Nintendo game...at least, not without the blood colored gray and called "sweat."

I dunno...as popular as the Wii is, with as many kids and families playing it, I foresee a big mess over that game.

They're talking about the new releases so Wombat and Cheapy don't need to get caught up in that type of stuff.

I was posting from work.....I can only go on the interweb for like 15 min a day when I am at work.


I have missed 3 otts so far.....I think I had maybe 12 post max in the last week and a half.




But now....I got the interweb fixed.



But I can get my xbox live to connect to my modem.....god damn why cant anything just go smoothly?

The mall is okay. Not great. I don't think there's an arcade, and there should be, considering the size.
 
I gotta say, Mark Ecko's Getting Up is actually not that bad. The soundtrack is fantastic, graphics are decent, spirit behind the game is cool. The controls and camera and absurd limits in the game are what's dragging it down...

...Why they hell can't I tag *everything* in the environment? And why can I see down streets but have run into an invisible barrier all the time? Lame.

Oh well, it's still kinda fun so far.
 
I've come to a conclusion. Tomorrow...I need to go out to buy shorts, or else I'm going to have to start going pantsless soon.

Sup CAG's I am having a wonderful night, I got some tracking cookies for firefox that wont go away, lol. I don't know how harmful they are, but I did both a Spybot and a Ad-Aware scan and they aren't gone, lol. I also did a HiJackThis scan and it looks totally clean, rofl. Oh well just dumb luck I guess.
 
About an hour ago, I checked my MS Points on Live, and I had about 230 points left. "Crap," I thought, "My son has been logging in and downloading stuff." However, I couldn't find anything new. Then I went to recent downloads, and found that "I" have downloaded Danny Phantom and Airbender.

Obvioiusly, that's not the odd part, as my Ralph Dibny-like detective skills deduced that Juggerbit is signing in as me, downloading stuff and then deleting it.

The odd part is, while I was investigating, my MS Points went up to 580. This was right in front of me and I didn't buy any secret 350 points. So, now I am wondering why my account now has extra points.

Oh yeah, and I think I'm going to disconnect the wifi adapter when I'm not around...

WHile I was checking this, trying to figure out what the hell happened, his mother was reading a book and half-paying attention as I was muttering to myself. When I said, "A-ha! You HAVE been downloading stuff and then deleting them!" He went from denial to "I'm very sorry, Dann. Are you mad at me?" His mother busted out laughing and said, "Well, at least he isn't buying more points and downloading 800 pt games and stuff."

It is hard to be mad, since he can't read yet and only sees the cartoons and thinks, "I like Avatar! I'll watch that!"

You also have to remember, I work in IT. I just heard someone complain that they were getting billed for having MS Project and denied having it...when, sure enough they did. Or someone that upgraded his Notes 5 to Notes 7 because "He felt like it" - even though he has been explicitly told not to - and was pissed at us because it borked up his mail archive templates. Once you deal enough with people who should know better, 3 yr olds are easily forgiven.

Nice, a bidding war has started on my Heroes Millenium game - to think, I almost threw it in a lot because I thought it was worthless, it's already up to $17 =O

Now if only Shadowrun would sell, and then I'm set on my free Microsoft Flight Simulator X :D
