I would like to start flipping games, but all of this is so overwhelming. I have a Blockbuster and (three) Gamestops in close vicinity, and I would like to start flipping in order to save up for a PS3 to get when LittleBigPlanet is released. Does anyone have any tips? I've been reading through here, and it's all pretty intimidating.
EDIT: I suppose the first step is to buy an EDGE card. Hmm. I'll do that tomorrow.
1) Check on GS deals and promos. Right now there is a trade in 3 PS3/360/Wii games, get an extra $15 credit, a cell phone coupon for an extra 30% on trade-ins, and a paper coupon for an extra 25% on PSP/DS trade-ins. Generally, you want to wait for a coupon like the 25% off used 360 games that was running two weeks ago.
2) Check the first post of this topic and the last few pages for information on the profitable flips.
3) Go to GS with all the relevant coupons and buy what you need. Remove the stickers on your way out.
4) Go to BBV and trade them in. I recommend you only do one copy of a given game at a time, so they don't get suspicious.
5) If you'd rather have GS credit rather than BBV credit, buy the profitable and/or 1:1 flips from BBV (again, check the thread) using your new BBV credit and trade them to GS.
