I'm going to be retiring from whatever Target, Best Buy, Taco Bell, or McDonalds shithole I end up working at until I''m dead. Actually, I'm mainly interested in a few paths. I plan on moving next year with a friend, so I don't have anything long term lined up right now. I need money.
1. Computer related job. Right now, I fix PCs freelance. I'll get A+ certified, since I've heard that monkeys can pass that test, and run some server somewhere. Or do tech support. Or whatever.
2. Rock star. With the quality of shit on the radio right now, my friend and I could sell out and become really popular with 15 year old girls. Or we can stick to our guns and end up gigging bars for eternity.
3. Factory worker. This is the main occupation of the majority of my family. So I can destroy my knees by standing on my feet for the next 40 years. Not the path I want to take.
As far as Sony goes, I like my PS3. I've only had my PS2 refuse to read a disc a few times, and then I took it apart and fixed it. My 4 PSone's were all played heavily, hence 4 PSone's. My 27" Wega has served me well. It does 1080i and 720p well, even though 720p is scaled to 1080i. 480p and 480i look great; that's one big reason why I bought it. I'm wanting a bigger main TV now, but I won't part with my Wega. My Sony receiver was good until the front left and rear surround channels started to go. I have to turn it up all the way and then back down to get them to work when I turn it on. It's getting replaced soon, probably with a Pioneer. I dig my friend's Pioneer. My Sony headphones were good, until I bought my Sennheiser HD-280 Pros, and I realized how colored and bass heavy they were. Their speakers seem good enough; not Bang & Olufsen quality by any means, but for the price, they are decent. I also want an XBR3 LCD; they look fantastic.
