wow, is it just me or is lacey von erich horrible in the ring? I think Jay Leno at WCW Hog Wild looked more "real" in the ring than her.
It isn't just you. Lacey su-diddly-ucks in the ring.

You know something isn't right if you are the weak link in a team with Velvet Sky. Lacey is hot, but even in "The Beautiful People" you need more than that. They should have had Kong join TBF to take over where Moose left off when she got hurt. That could have at least been interesting.

Anyone got any free shipping codes for the TNA shop?

I really want one of those British Invasion shirts but they're $23 after shipping and handling, Ouch !!

- As seen last week on iMPACT, TNA President Dixie Carter essentially said during her speech at the top of the hour that anyone who wasn't on board with her recent changes to the organization should find work elsewhere. As it turns out, five wrestlers had asked for their releases from the company in recent weeks including Frankie Kazarian (a.k.a. Suicide) and Homicide — we don't have the names of the three other wrestlers. Nobody received their release in the end.

And brilliant Davey Richards promo -

Long road from home..........
I still remember the smell of my teams tracksuit, the dark red color of the mat that covered Othello High School. I remember my grandpa that morning telling me being a Richards means working harder than everyone else for what you want and by leading by example, so really the outcome didnt matter as long as left everything I had out there on the mat.
I remember the tingle that went up my spine as my name was called to wrestle, I remember Coach Garza handing me my ear gaurds. I remember looking at my grandpa and he gave his famous nod.
The whistle sounded.....soon thereafter I lost.
I was crushed, I wanted to quit.
Then something happened, I remember sitting on our porch on our farm talking with my grandpa about how I wanted to quit.
He asked me how my dinner tasted I was eating, how I like going fishing in our boat, how I liked my new school clothes. "Great", I said to everyone.
" If me and your Grandmother had quit everytime things got tough on this farm we wouldnt have any of this, nor would you have a roof over your head or food to eat, or clothes to wear".
Thats the first time I remember feeling that fire to outwork everyone, to lead by example, to not talk but to act.
I was 10 years old then, and after 16 years of wrestling that fire is still burning.

Fast forward 16 years, 2 amature state titles, cauliflowered ears, and a passion not only to be the best but the uphold my families creed: Seek out the best and outwork them.

This is how Ive Evolved.

This year many have said Ive more great matches then anyone, vs. KENTA, vs. Danielson, vs. SHINGO, vs. Omega, vs. Strong, ect.
Even WWE has come knocking.
But noone understands why, its not for attention I do this, its not for money, its not for notoriety. Its for my beliefes, my morals, my creed.
I am a man who belives hard work must be rewarded and laziness must be punished. Ive simply walked away from places before who I feel have not shared this moral with me.

Evolve is my oppurtunity to not seek out big paydays, not to seek out mainstream notoriety, or to even gain attention.
Evolve is my place to seek out the best, outwork them, and beat them. So I ask Evolve- Send me the best wrestlers on the planet, the hardest hitters, the most skilled fliers, the most technical mat wrestlers and test me. I live for this, I live for competition, I live for doing what Ive done for 16 years with pride, integrity, and heart: wrestling.
Send me the best..........
Send me the best so I may look up and know my grandpa is still looking down on me wrestling the same way he did when I was 10 years old, so I can still make him proud by following my families creed : outwork everyone and lead by example.
Send me the best so I may Evolve.

I'm not sure what is going on in this gif, but Taker is out of control.

I called it.

Also, it appears that Taker was momentarily possessed by the spirit of the Warrior ;)

You gotta love the wrestling physics in the first video: Orton get Superkicked, then turns around to get Pedigreed, then practically no-sells it to get back up and stagger right into an FU from Cena.

Good show - although not as good as the summer run of awesome ones. Punk-Truth was great. I loved that they actually allowed Truth to cut a promo as opposed to just saying "WHAT'S UP" 4,000 times. They had yet another good match and it seems like they're actually pushing Truth a bit because they've given him two decent-sized matches on TV and promo time this week, so I liked that. Morrison-Ziggler was really good and I'm glad that they found a way to continue the feud WITHOUT HAVING ZIGGLER LOSE, which has really hurt him in the past.

Finlay-Drew was intense and I love how much mileage they got out of two shots with a stick - granted one filled with lead, but still, they made it seem like a huge deal. They showed replays from numerous angles, had trainers come out and tend to Finlay, and put over that Drew put a hurting on this man, one of the toughest men in wrestling, that they hadn't seen before. Again, like with the Noble-Sheamus deal, they got more mileage out of a mid-card injury angle than TNA got out of KURT ANGLE being laid out and stretchered out of the building.

Jericho-Taker was easily 'Taker's best match since returning. He was moving around way better than he has in months, and I loved the out of nowhere Codebreaker and the Walls>Hell's Gate. That made me think of how awesome it would be to see someone try a sharpshooter on Taker, and then as they hunched down to turn him over, he wiggles free and locks it on from that position. Anyway, these guys had an awesome match and I'm looking forward to the Bros. of Destruction vs. Jeri-Show next week, which makes even more sense when you consider that Kane got screwed over by Jeri-Show at Bragging Rights.

Beth's squash once again ruled - THANK GOD FOR HER MOVE TO SD. Striker mentioning her foe as being the British Commonwealth Champion got a LOL out of me, and the look of terror on her face as she was up for the Glam Slam was awesome.

(on Morrison and Ziggler)Striker - THEY ARE TIED TOGETHER BY THE TEETH!
Punk - Look at what’s become of the UK. You used to rule half the planet, and now you’re as sad and pathetic as the Americans. You can pretend you don’t spend your days tucked away in some pub, you can pretend you don’t spend every night filling your lungs with carcinogens from your cigarettes and trendy cigars. You can pretend you don’t knowingly use chewing tobacco - something that will give you cancer within two years. You people are weak-minded! You have no heart, your spirit is broken. You’re practically decomposing in front of my eyes, and all you can do is boo or wave a crooked finger at me and accuse me of being preachy. Absolutely, and it’s not that hard because my mind is clear and my body is free of poison. I am perfect in every way. I don’t need a crutch to get through my everyday life. R-Truth will ask you what’s up, and I’ll tell you what’s up - STRAIGHT EDGE!
R-Truth - These hard-working people paid their money to see action - not hear you preach. Truth is, you go around telling people how they should live their lives so you can try and feel better about your life. That’s the truth. And tonight, the truth is gonna hurt!

Grisham - Mr. McMahon stated that McIntyre is a future world champion. High expectations. Didn’t the English have a book about expectations?
Striker - Yeah - it was great.
Striker - The WWE Chairman met McIntyre in a golf tournament, and he signed him to SmackDown.
Striker - Hatton doesn’t have Morrison’s abs.
Grisham - Santino called Hatton “Ricky Fatton”.
Striker - Actually, he called himself Ricky Fatton.
Grisham - Well, he likes to take time off between bouts.
Striker - Lisa Taylor, the British Commonwealth champion, set to do battle with the Femme Firebird, Beth Phoenix.
Striker - IS THE MENTAL MASTERY OF JERICHO A MATCH FOR THE CRANIAL CREEPINESS OF THE UNDERTAKER!?

Grisham - You’re looking at two of the most iconic superstars that WWE has never known!
Striker - Or ever known…
(after announcing BoD vs. Jerishow)Vince - Great idea Teddy, and by the way (sips coffee) you’re still on probation!

Super sucks that Natalya didn't get introduced properly and then got used in a stupid storyline that doesn't even involve her. At least we finally got to see her in another singles match.
Hogan looking to bring in Nasty Boys & Macho Man into TNA.
Stop the pain. I predicted Knobbs as X champ when the Hogan deal was announced. I am Ciscodamus!

Just when TNA was nearly in the right direction, they drop this Hogan bombshell.

This is going to be a train wreck.
Hogan looking to bring in Nasty Boys & Macho Man into TNA.
I'm not surprised about The Nasty Boys. Hogan is one of the biggest nepotists in the business, always calling up his friends because they know they'll put him over for a paycheck.

Savage, however, is a total shocker. I thought they hated each other.

Did they patch things up?

I was never clear on why Savage absolutely hated Hogan, but I always felt that it was because Savage resented the fact that Hogan was far more popular, even though Savage was FAR more talented.

Hogan "looking into" bringing guys in means very little to me - the guy's a massive bullshit artist even by wrestling standards. Austin is being paid six figures by WWE to NOT work anywhere else. And Austin hates Hogan. And Bischoff. And isn't going to TNA ever. Savage is in his mid-to-late 50s, hasn't worked in FIVE YEARS, and when he did, all he did was a sleeper. So yeah, I don't see him wrestling. Becoming Machismo's manager, maybe, but not wrestling.

Also -
-- Not confirmed, but according to one source Sean Mooney has been hired by WWE.
This is going to be...something. Likely bad, but probably entertaining.

We still don't know the extent of Hogan's deal, though, JaytheGamefan.
when can we expect hogan to make an appearance?
Rumor going around is not until beginning of 2010, when regular football season is wrapping up. As for the Nasty Boys, why do companies still pay them to wrestle?

Not confirmed, but according to one source Sean Mooney has been hired by WWE.
That rumor seems to be due to McMahon being pissed about the announcers slacking off.

Those were the 2 matches I was interested in seeing. Were they the last 2 matches on the card? Do any of the streams show replays?

Joe vs. A.J. vs. Daniels II

Watching now and Taz's reaction at the streamers at 11:00 is hilarious. You can clearly hear that he doesn't understand that what's been thrown at Daniels is a sign of respect but then catches himself once he picks up on the streamers are. I guess since he never worked Japan or the modern day indies, he just isn't used to the fact. I have to say though that the streamers totally added a big match feel to the event.

I guess no more links to matches on this thread. Sorry guys. If I get silenced, or banned momentarily, it will be for posting the main event from TNA.

Thanks Guile!

Forgive me if someone mentioned this already.

http://latimesblogs.latimes.com/spo...white-brock-lesnar-has-a-serious-illness.html
Brock Lesnar, the Ultimate Fighting Championship's heavyweight champion, has been diagnosed with a "serious" illness and expects to be out of action for an extended period, according to a Yahoo Sports report.

Contacted today by The Times, UFC owner Lorenzo Fertitta would say only that the organization is granting Lesnar's request for privacy.
The Yahoo story, quoting UFC President Dana White from a Saturday event in Manchester, England, reported that Lesnar recently collapsed in Canada and returned home to learn he had a health problem beyond his previous diagnosis for mononucleosis.

Lesnar had to pull out of his scheduled fight Saturday at UFC 106 in Las Vegas and the UFC's Jan. 2 card versus Shane Carwin.

“It’s bad,” White told Yahoo's Dave Meltzer. “It’s real bad. I am worried about it. I can’t really talk about it right now, but [Lesnar] is in rough shape.”

The UFC has been ravaged by illness and injury in recent weeks. Heavyweight Antonio Rodrigo Nogueira pulled out of his Jan. 2 main event versus Cain Velasquez because of a staph infection, middleweight champ Anderson Silva is out with elbow pain, and welterweight champion Georges St-Pierre was hurt in his most recent fight.

Whoops! Looks like tonight is Bryan Danielson's final Ring of Honor on HDNet match. Look for Dragon to debut in WWE very, very soon!

Main Event: Bryan Danielson vs. Roderick Strong

HDNET is also coming to Direct TV.
What's up with the tiny entranceway on RAW this week?
Made more space for fans. I love it though. Very old school! Reminds me of the Rumble HHH vs. Cactus Jack.
