It didn't work for me, cashier tried a couple times manager even said if it rings up sure, but one rang up $10 off bambi and the other didnt work, gonna try print them out again hopefully they work this time any ideas?

*update 1 i just went to the veri-fi.com website to verify the coupons i had and they verify valid and correct, what gives?
Oh yes, I forgot DMR movie rewards are different. I'm used to the Quantum movie money with the code. Duh. :dunce:
Now what I'm trying to remember is whether, if I redeem both on the same DMR account, I'll get two tickets. I think so, but it's been long enough that I'm not positive.

I went to try and pick them up today and relized that i must have put the coupons in the mailbox this morning when I mailed out a huge stack of mail. Can I just make another account with a different e-mail address to print another set of coupons?

You can print the coupons twice, so if you only printed them once so far, just go into your account and print them again.

The last time I used Disney's movie ticket voucher process, it was for the POTC movie coming out in May. They asked me to select which movie theater (from a long list in my area). I wonder how strict they are with these tickets. What if I change my mind and decide to go to a theater that is still on the list, but just wasn't selected at the time of redemption?

EDIT: When you print the ticket out, it says it's valid at any participating theater at the top.

They don't scan at BB - they are supposed to enter the discount manually. Go back and tell them that.

At the riverdale, nj store, I got both without issue. I also picked up Invincible on bluray for 9.99. It's a great movie if you haven't seen it yet.

Damn wish i would have known to just tell them to enter it manually. So they have to hit f7 and enter it manually ? maybe i could also get bambi with the 10$ off .lol.

Did anybody have any luck using both manufacturer's coupons on the best buy deal? Is it possible to combine the "Cars" coupon, "The incredibles" coupon and $10 off best buy promotion on both movies?

Did you even bother to look at the last two pages before posting?

Just got back from a BB in MN, and the cashier didn't even bat an eye when she applied the DMR coupons.

~$25 for Incredibles and Cars :br: with taxes.

In MN, taxes are applied to the $40 price after the BB package discount, and then coupons are applied as payment on the $40+tax price.

One note: The BB I went to is a high volume store, and there were ~3 dozen copies of the Incredibles, but under a dozen copies of the new Cars :br:/:dvd: combo pack.

When I left at 10:30 AM, there were only a handful of the Cars combo pack left.

I assume BB didn't get in a lot of copies of Cars since it's just a re-release.
$24.XX total after taxes (they tax on the full $50, I think).
Most likely taxed on the $40 combo price.
Now what I'm trying to remember is whether, if I redeem both on the same DMR account, I'll get two tickets. I think so, but it's been long enough that I'm not positive.
Yeah, you'll get 2 tickets, as you have vouchers from 2 different movies.

Last year, I got 2 tickets for TS3 from the TS1&2 :br:

You had a brain dead and/or improperly trained cashier. As Shrike said, the coupons don't scan at BB and they have to press F7 on the register and manually input the coupon amount.

I assumed everybody was buying them separately...

Also worked at my Meijer. $12.99 + tax.
Coupon worked at Meijer. Walked out the door with The Incredibles combo blu-ray/dvd for $12.99.
I was going to PM BB's deal at Target, but whoever put the movies in the plastic security cases mangled all the slipcovers for The Incredibles and some slipcovers for Cars (San Mateo Target). I have to drive over to BB to buy them. I hope they don't run out.

Went to the BB on Bunker Hill here in Houston, cashier just discounted it together and was in and out of the store in less than 1 minute. There was like 5 copies of each left on the floor.

If that happens, I always hunt down a CSR and ask if there are any copies in the back. I've done that with slipcovers and always have success.

I snuck out of work for a little bit to head to Best Buy to pick up Cars and the Incredibles and I'm glad I left when I did. I get to Best Buy and I see about 6 copies of the Incredibles left but only one copy of Cars left so I snagged up one of each. I went to the register and the coupon was applied manually with no problem at all. The total came out to be 25.68 after tax so I used a $25 GC I had for trading in FO:NV. When it was all said and done I ended up getting both movies for approximately $11.48 once the cost of FO:NV is factored in.
I assumed everybody was buying them separately...
No point in buying them separately, since they have their promotion on-going for the two movies at the same time:
no go for me :( i had to do them in a separate transaction.

gonna try again tomorrow.
What reason did they have to do them separately, since the package gets applied automatically if the cashier doesn't hit "no" to the "Apply package prices?" question?

Sadly, Target couldn't match the deal but BB (surprisingly) didn't hassle me, so $25 OTD. Good to know the movie cash codes can be redeemed on the same account, so that will save me some trouble too.
What reason did they have to do them separately, since the package gets applied automatically if the cashier doesn't hit "no" to the "Apply package prices?" question?
my guess is they made him use one coupon per transaction b/c they wanted to be dicks..

I too got the deal no problem at BB (surprised I didn't see omgcarebears in there;), went to the same location!), in fact, the clerk recognized me from when I tried to pull the Tangled deal over her head, and had no problems taking both coupons, stating hers messed up printing..I think she was going to keep mine and use them (I'm sure BB doesn't physically mail these in even though the clerks say they are required to in order for you to surrender them)

IDK, I couldn't help but feel bittersweet about the deal (already had them both on DVD, taking a lot of sh*t from the wife about upgrading), $25.XX w/ tax, making the tax almost seem like a deal killer for some reason. This isn't even being heavily marketed, the Incredibles 4-pack was at the very bottom corner of the new release shelf, with Cars being on the polar opposite side AND priced at $29.99 on the shelf tag. Maybe expecting floor stands was a little too much, but its Disney! The double dip on Cars, and the free movie tickets to part 2, makes me think they don't have too much faith in the film at theatres (I mean, out of all the Pixar films, that gets the sequel first??) That too seems like a quick cash-in and to appease to whatever Mater-mania there is going on out there with cartoons, games and toys..but still, 2 release day movies for about $10 after considering the movie cash and actually using it, is great!

no idea, i didnt bother asking (and it was my fault for not doing that). ill try again tomorrow

I got the last copy of both Cars and the Incredibles at my Best Buy. I don't know why, but all of the local stores at low copies of both movies.

Hrmm, I could have sworn I saw Toy Story 2 and TS3 in theaters and own both of them on :br:

:whistle2:k

And I seem to recall TS3 getting the Movie Cash deal last year, and it seemed to do OK.

And there's your reason Cars 2 came out so quick. Cars moves a sh*t-ton of merchandise.

No other Pixar film lends itself to as many characters and cross-marketing(ie kids and Hot Wheels collectors)

Don't forget, Disney owns Pixar now, so all they see is $$$ on churning out the sequels. Pixar took pride in their original storylines, where Disney is not afraid to cash in on sub-par sequels (not that Cars 2 will be sub-par, just sayin').

has anyone tried ordering both movies on bb's website w/ in-store pickup and then using the DMR coupons when you pick them up? i have a bad feeling that they will be sold out by the time i get down to the store on my lunch.

My first best buy was sold out of Cars. Guy said they only had two copies come in. He called our other Best Buy and had them hold it for me, and it's a good thing. I drove straight there, and there were none left on the shelf. No problem with the coupon. Got out of there for the 21.xx plus tax.

Cars 2 came out quick? It's been 5 years! Entire trilogies come out faster than that nowadays. I also have faith that this will be a good movie because of Pixar's track record and the fact that Mater's Tall Tales is excellent. The Cars characters are pretty great.

I remember reading somewhere that out of all of the Disney properties Cars sells far and away the most merchandise.

I really hope they will announce The Incredibles 2 movie at some point. If any Pixar movie deserves a sequel, that one would be high up on the list for me.

I meant to make a statement about how Toy Story could be argued against this! lunch break was over, people in my office :bomb: You are right on all accounts. oh well, I was 'just saying' with my rant anyway. I knew it wouldn't be a popular hypothesis, but just what I was thinking..

ha! yeah I was in and out by 1115am. I'm glad thats a hassle-free store!!

You'd have to do a return then rebuy for that to work. And in my experience, most BB employees don't like doing all that work.

I did that with . . . um, Fantasia and Sorcerer's Apprentice, I think -- been a while . . . The problem with it is that because you've already completed the transaction online, they can't just apply the coupons. If you can get the customer service rep to agree to it, you have a couple of options:

1. Best Buy cancels orders that aren't picked up within 8 days. When I picked up Fantasia and Sorcerer's Apprentice, the CSR let me buy the copies that they had held for me in a new transaction, with the coupons, and just leave my online order in their system as having not been picked up. Then it just automatically got cancelled out after a week. The problem with this one for BB is that it messes up their inventory system, so it's going to be YMMV (possibly very YMMV) on getting them to let you do it.

2. The other option would be to complete the online order transaction, and then immediately do a return, and re-buy them with the coupons. That's a bit of work for the CSR, so you might get some resistance to it, but there's no good reason why it shouldn't work.

Basically, if you're going to try it, be very nice and friendly to the CSR, as they are your key to making it happen. Make sure that it's clear what you want, and that you make it as easy for them as possible.

On the positive side, if you can't get them to do it at all, you can just not pick up the order, at which point it will, as I said, automatically get cancelled after 8 days. So you're not stuck with it if it they won't do it.
has anyone tried ordering both movies on bb's website w/ in-store pickup and then using the DMR coupons when you pick them up? i have a bad feeling that they will be sold out by the time i get down to the store on my lunch.
That won't work. In-store pickup orders aren't the same as in-store orders, as pickup orders go through BB.com and the store just "finishes" the sale.

You would need to order them via in-store pickup, complete the order and then return them to the store and do the in-store purchase at the register. Some people on SD have commented about doing in-store pickup to "reserve" them at the CS desk, have the CS rep ring the movies out via normal transaction and cancel the order on BB.com.

Got the combo pack at Best Buy and she said damn I think everyone is going to be doing this today (Cars is now sold out as of 12:00 PM at Potomac Mill BB)

So no issues. Love it.

thanx for all the responses...sounds like more trouble than it's worth. I'll just test my luck in a few hours. sometimes BB will get a re-stock later in the week of these discs...hopefully they will have the movie cash on them as well.

Success at the Seattle Northgate Best Buy! Walked in and out the store with both Blu-Rays in less than 15 minutes. The girl cashier knew exactly what to do with the coupons. She even got asked by another cashier what to do and she told him to push F7 to manually enter them. She manually entered both coupon amounts in the computer and I walked out of Best Buy with both Cars & Incredibles Blu-Ray packs for $25.78 with tax! Thanks to the east coast CAGers' recommendation , I went right when Best Buy opened at 10am. There were only about 2 copies left of Cars combo pack Blu-Ray after I grabbed mine. There are a ton of Incredibles on the shelf. Good luck to rest of you!

Success at the West Hollywood, CA Best Buy store (which I generally loathe). Snagged 'em both for $25 and change after taxes. I did wait until after she rang everything up and got the $10 knocked off before I presented the coupons. Though, it *does* say at the bottom of the ad, "open to Disney Reward Members" so if there's any issues, I'd point that out at the bottom of the ad...
