Yes, yet another indie bundle, but like the Humble Bundle, you can set your own price and donate to charity as well. The games only register on Steam, but that won't be a problem for most here. You get a key for each individual game, so you can gift whatever you do not personally want if you feel like it.

Happy Hour guidelines:

*Happy Hour happens at random times: sometimes as early as 4 days after the bundle going live, but most often during the second week of sales.

Happy Hour! Double Gifts! During Happy Hour time New buyers for every gift purchase get a 2nd bonus gift for free (2x1)! All gifts are doubled! Remember to check 'IS IT A GIFT'! *If you have not purchased the current Indie Gala yet, you can buy two for one during happy hour

And if you are an early buyer the deal is EVEN BIGGER!

Yes! If you already bought the current indiegala bundle, you get 2 bonus gifts for free for every gift purchased ( 3 x 1 ) *If you have already purchased the bundle, but you did not purchase it in the first week, you can buy three for one

And if you bought it in the first week you get 3 bonus gifts for free for every gift purchased ( 4 x 1 ) *If you already purchased the current bundle and did so in the first week of the current bundle going live, you can buy four for one

Remember to check 'IS IT A GIFT' ! if you want to take advantage of Happy Hour. You have to check this also if, after purchasing a bundle for yourself with your own email address, you want another additional bundle for you. If you don't, transactions amount will sum on your original email account and you can upgrade your purchase, obtaining more bonuses if you previously didn't unlock it, or more galapoints.

REMEMBER: (Gift purchases are not upgradable and don't contribute to upgrade your personal account for unlock new content.)
***For Happy Hour, you MUST use the same e-mail you used when buying your first bundle, and you MUST check the gift option below the payment method. You have to buy again during Happy Hour to receive gift copies.

CAG Group Buy Hosting FAQ

Q: I see all of these CAGs hosting group buys for people. What's that all about?
A: It's a way for CAGs to help each other get the best deal. One person will buy the bundle during the first week, then they will buy four gift copies at the highest tier during Happy Hour. This person is referred to as the host. They then try to sell these to participants for a fraction of the price of buying the "beat the average" bundle individually, plus some extra to distribute the cost of the initial bundle purchase in the first week. The host gains money back, and the participants get the full bundle for a fourth of the cost. Everyone wins.

Q: How do I host one?
A: To host a CAG group buy, you must first purchase the Indie Gala full BTA (beat the average) bundle in the first week (this has been changed since the previous bundles). This will allow you to purchase four additional bundles for the price of one during a Happy Hour, as stated in the Happy Hour post above. Now, it does matter how much you initially spend, as you must purchase the full bundle in order to purchase full bundle four-packs during Happy Hour. Then, once Happy Hour starts, you buy a gift copy for the current "beat the average" price, which will be listed on the Indie Gala page. MAKE SURE YOU CHECK "IS IT A GIFT" TO GET FOUR GIFT COPIES.

Q: It's asking me for multiple e-mail addresses. What do I do?
A: Just skip that part. The links to the gifts will be added to your account page (which is another reason why you must always use the same e-mail address when ordering from Indie Gala). Most hosts will send out the gift URLs to their participants in a PM.

Q: Is it hard to do?
A: No, it's very quick and easy. Just keep track of which gift URLs you have sent to which people, and you will be fine.

Still one more slot :)

Yes, its beat the average bundle

PM you the paypal detail :)

I didn't realize the Ironclads collection sells for $50! That makes me extra excited towards the value of the bundle. I love the ironclads stories from the Civil War, so I'm curious about the game.

I have no more spots left, and happy hour is over. Dang...

I don't usually play racing games but I'm having a lot of fun with SBK X and WCR. Props to Gala for having such a nice melange of games.

Not as cheap because I didn't get them with the intent to resell but, I've got a couple full bundles for $3.25 PP each if anybody is interested.

Looks like they added the music. The list is as follows:

Baron Von Luxxury - 'The Last Seduction'
Losers Come From Above - 'Biggest Failure of All Time'
Electric Children - 'You Are'
DJ Cutman - 'Poweglove'
DJ Cutman - 'Deadmau5

Anybody who bought a BTA bundle should now have access to this music on their download page.
Anyone else hosting a group buy?
Do you need another copy of the bundle? I could buy one more 4-pack if there's still a need.

Well if Slim Gatsby still has a few bundles to unload, people should just go to him instead. I was only offering to buy another 4-pack in the event that all other sources of group buys dried up.

Quick questions on the Paypal thing as I have only used it to pay someone once and I gather the idea is to avoid paying fees.

It looks like there are no fees to send money to someone if you use your cash balance or bank account. Does the recipient care/need to care if my money is coming from one or the other as long as it is not coming from a credit/debit card? Do I need to care?

Does everyone use the Gift option on the Personal tab when sending money to a bundle host?

There are no fees regardless of how you pay when you send money. The recipient is the one who gets charged a fee. Buyer is never charged unless the buyer opts to pay the fee, but I'm not sure what methods cause it to show up (maybe need to be invoiced?).

But in order for no fees to occur, you are correct with the direct funds or bank account. Although you would also need to use the personal tab as well. Using the non-personal tab would still incur a fee for the recipient regardless of how it is funded. So for your question, it does not matter which way you fund it, as long as you don't use a credit/debit card and choose personal.

Although I'm not sure how or what is acceptable here when hosting a bundle like this.

We always do bank funds or paypal balance gifted to a person. That is the only way to avoid any fees. If it is a purchase of something from one person to another (as opposed to a group buy) then the appropriate thing would be to send it as a payment and the recipient incur fees as part of the cost of doing business, but I'm sure Paypal would probably want fees for everything event he group buys.

Another consideration is to only do personal with people with goodr atings as personal transactions don't have the same paypal protection.

Thanks for the responses. I wanted to make sure I understood the process before getting in on a group buy when I don't have a paypal balance. I don't want to pay fees and I'm sure no seller wants to pay them either just because they offered to host a group buy.

No problem. It's a relatively easy process once you get the hang of it. You can either transfer money to your paypal account and keep a balance, or just transfer directly from your bank account everytime you gift. For Amazon group buys I always offer the host the option of sending them an Amazon e-gift card in advance so they can apply it to their account and use it towards the group buy without coming out of pocket. So some people are more flexible with options.

I personally charge a higher amount because not many people are familiar with how the payment options work and I sometimes come out losing money when I host. I feel like these responses should be noted somewhere so group hosts don't get charged more for being helpful. ;)

I don't remember all the situations but sometimes I get an extra cost to me using paypal and sometimes not.

I'm pretty sure paying with the gift option when it's not really a gift breaks the user agreement, and you have no recourse if trades go bad.
...I'm pretty sure paying with the gift option when it's not really a gift breaks the user agreement, and you have no recourse if trades go bad.
PayPal's "Payment Owed" option (also fee-free) covers "things like reimbursing a friend for your share of a restaurant check"

IMO, group buys fall under that category as opposed to everyday commerce. So I'm OK using that or "Gift".

Now that the indiegala V is coming to a close, what do you guys think of this bundle?

To me, it is a very enjoyable bundle. Especially Puzzle Kingdoms and Ninja Blade. Ninja Blade is very good consider the bundle's price. Beat Hazard turns out to be a very decent twin stick shooter.

btw, I am looking for a bundle for my bro, any has a spare to sell please pm me?

I doubt it will be iOS games. Apple doesn't provide developers with enough promo codes to make inclusion in a bundle possible:
http://news.softpedia.com/news/Apple-Opens-iOS-App-Promo-Codes-to-the-World-171564.shtml

Android games can be downloaded DRM-free outside of any online store.

I think that, like the Humble Bundle, these will be games with both Android and PC versions.

*Edit: Ninja'ed ;)

Is that even doable on Apple products without jailbreaking? Humble got around having to go through Google because you can sideload on Android and then they even eventually created their own client.

I am under the impression that isn't something so easily doable on Apple and that if they put it through the itunes store Apple would have to get a significant cut.

IIRC Indie Royale Gala (I always get their names bass ackwards) did do one Android game as a bonus, Fruit Blitz, and you sideloaded it.

I suppose they could make the games in question on the appstore as free demos and then provide as an in-game code to unlock the full game.

Hmm, I don't know. I think Apple would get wind of it and call Shenanigans like they did when Amazon tried to circumvent their system.

We'll see I guess but I think the whole thing would be too much trouble for this sort of setup.

Not a big fan of these Android Bundles. I got the humble ones and there is only one game that I can say has promise and that is Avadon. Rest of the games were a huge meh to me. I guess they didn't include the right games or something.

Well then you have nothing to fear with the coming Indie Gala Bundle. Because we know that Indie Gala will tirelessly scour the world of android gaming to carefully select the cream of the crop from android gaming. If we've learned anything over time, it's that Indie Gala has impeccably good tastes and will settle for nothing less than the best games to feature in their bundles.

Yeah your right, Humble was once the best quality and then they starting lacking until their recent one. Indie Gala has always been solid with their stuff. Hopefully there is Steam Keys.

lol

I was being sarcastic. There have been a few good games in the Indie gala bundles, but most of their stuff has been middling to outright crap.

Humble has such huge sales it only trots out the heavy hitters for their 'numbered' bundles. That's why in the interim they have the wacky themed/Android/promotional ones. Overall I think Royale has been more consistent in terms of quality of games and I say that even though I've yet to buy a single one. I can still appreciate a good bundle despite owning some/not caring for what's in it. Gala is dead last of the 'big three' by a mile.
Anyone have any extra bundles they have not used? Please PM me a price! Thanks.
Well I still have a couple of IG5 bundles. I just sent you a PM.

EDIT: Sorry, I'm all sold out now.
