Thats strange. In the feed it looked brown/blond, so minus points if he not only grew hair but then dyed it as well. I think Matt Young mentioned he got some new chest tatts as well?

Maybe they'll work his hair into that Kane storyline that makes no sense.
Holy crap was his promo ever horrid.
I guess that's why James Storm was the one on the mic most of the time during AMW promos in TNA.

Hmm... we're at 498, so it might not be a bad idea to start up a new topic before Raw tonight.

Anyone up for it?

What the fuck?!

According to ABC News, Ric Flair's daughter, Ashley Fliehr was charged with assault on a law enforcement and officer and resisting arrest in Chapel Hill, N.C. on September 5, 2008.

Ric Flair, his daughter, and an unidentified 22-year-old man were in a fight at a parking lot of an apartment complex. Ric was bloodied and bruised, but did not file charges. His daughter was arrested for kicking an officer. The Chapel Hill police officer used a taser gun on Ashley.

Ashley's boyfriend said it was a family matter that is now resolved when asked about the incident.

That was actually posted on the previous page.

So, official reason behind Punk's removal was simply due to creative wanting to further his 'feud' with Orton. So, I guess that'll be what Orton is doing upon returning to the ring.

Really, though, the only way they could figure this was to strip the man of the title? fucking seriously? I reiterate... if I were Punk, I'd be pissed. No offense to the man, but I don't think he'll ever honestly be considered to hold the belt again. Challenge, yes... hold, no. It just seems like something they threw together at the last minute without realizing that it'd screw up the scramble.

Oh, and sorry about the thread thing... didn't realize memorial topics were longer.

Don't be talkin' shit about Fort Wright, KY. I'm gonna have to get all Dukes of Hazzard on you.

NWF: Three hours of intense wrestling action! Featuring hip tosses! And shoulder block! And more hip tosses! And yet more shoulder blocks!

I hope she did the Flair strut after taking the cop out.
TNA iMPACT! had a lot of potential, but it didn't follow through on most of it. Beyond the limited/repetitive moves, lackluster CAW, and scaled back online, my main problem is that iMPACT! doesn't feel like real wrestling. The opponents never stay down long enough, they don't sell limb damage, there's an announce table and announcer voices (which are super-repetitive) but no announcer bodies, there are no championship belts to wear or defend even though they're mentioned in the story, chairs are just sitting around the outside of the ring, there is no rope break, and every match is no count out/no DQ
Take out a sentence or two and it sounds like a faithful recreation to me.
I can't believe this is all they have to show for after 2 years of work on that game.
There's probably a swimming pool's worth of spilled bongwater, but I don't suspect we'll ever be privy to actually seeing that.

Even though I didn't like Punk all that much, I have to agree that there's a better way of getting him in a fued with Orton that doesn't involve taking away his title. Sure, it'll probably be nice to see Jericho with the belt, but they kinda just...gave it to him, with no real warning.

Two years? Surely, Midway didn't actually have people working this game.

I'm not a fan of Punk but wow, have they completely fucked up his title reign. It's a complete joke.

And it looks like I'm done watching Raw again. Between Punk being champ and nothing being on during the summer I figured I'd give it a shot. It was passable for a couple of months. However, with that reasoning for taking the belt off Punk plus Terminator starting this week and Heroes in 2 weeks it's lights off and curtains down for Raw (again). I'll just get my Santino fix online.

I really believe that they are just like that one group in high school during a project. Where they would just smoke weed and talk about all of the amazing things they are going to do. "Hell yeah, dude, fuck Smackdown we'll motion capture 2000 moves and do Ultimate X, it will be awesome." Than eventually somebody will come up to them and ask them how the project is going. They will ramble on about all of the revolutionary/awesome ideas they have and the other person will go "wow, you do know that it's due tomorrow, right?" which causes them to go into panic mode and hastily toss something together at 4 in the morning while high on adderall.

Hahaha... that's what I imagine when I think of the TNA Impact development process. :whistle2:#

I'm picturing the ethics presentation I sat through in undergrad where two guys showed 10 minutes of "Cheech and Chong" clips.
I'll take a wait and see approach. If they give up on Punk, he'll lose a title match on Raw tomorrow or next Monday and that'll be it.
Yea, sounds about right.

anyone else think tonights raw is very bad

Then what you expect seems the big talent is too good to come to fort wayne 4 major matches. Everytime raw comes to fort wayne we get Piss ass matches and a bunch of talking .

Glad i did not waste my cash

Should knew it was bad when ticket brokers was dropping their prices by 75% just to get red of tickets today
