For Reptile to turn invisible I thought it was hold block and press up 3 times. Something like that. The lowest point in the MK series was when Scorpion's did his Animality and turned into a penguin, layed an egg, and it explodes. What was Midway thinking? Scorpion's a bad ass, he doesn't turn into Penguins and lay eggs!

VGM - You talk more about male genetiales than fighting games. It's scaring me. Maybe this picture might cheer you up:

Again, I've said something like that twice and you try to make it sound like I've said it a thousand times. And yes, red x's do cheer me up. Work on that spelling before you go back to learning Tekken combos.

Sorry VGM, we do have a hurricane in Florida now so please do mind the x's for now, the pic was working 2 hours ago. Besides you always mention lame nasty stuff to counter my insults, so it's okay if you play for the other team. It is the year 2005 after all, besides I live in South Florida, gays are no problem to me. I take no offesne.

Back to the real topic, fighting games. So please ignore my post to VGM, he's confused about his sexuality, maybe he does like Dan too much.

I beat you with Guy, who I've used about 10 times total, at SFA 3, which I've played about 20 times. I mean, there's trash talk and then there's complete bullshit :rofl:

I knew he had more bark to his bite. I'd love to play you guys, but just wait a week or two until I get my new computer. Besides I'm getting a MAC so I don't know if that will be problem to play some games with you.

So anyone here try out Super Cosplay War Ultra? It's a really well-made PC 2D fighter. You can d/l it here. Oh, and it's totally free.

It about 70 MB, but well worth the d/l if you love good 2D fighters.
 
Haha, they took the logo straight from Super Robot Wars.

That pic of Astro Boy fighting a Zaku was really funny. I really liked the Battle Royale mode, and the AI was better than I thought.

Yeah I realize I am one of the few people on these forums who cares enough about MK3 to stick up for it. :D

People hate on it but the MK3 combo system is actually my favorite of all fighting games. I just think of autocombos as a different style of special move. And it was sweet how Ultimate MK3 let you link jumping attacks into autocombos. Ha ha I expect nearly everyone to disagree with my sentiments, but Fighter Credibility be damned, there is no bringing down my MK3 love.

I think people might be thinking more about the AI than anything else. The AI in MK3/UMK3 was some of the worst to ever be in a fighting game, ever. However, if you're playing with a human opponent, the combo system can me pretty cool.

I still think MK2 is better, but it is worth saying that MK2 is overrated.
 
Agreed, the AI in MK3 is atrocious. I'll freely admit that MK2 and 3 have pretty much the most worthless single-player modes out there. That's why I was rejoicing when I learned about Kaillera! I finally had a reason to play MK again.
 
my arcade had MK2 + 3 set to "impossible." after the first 3 fights, the enemy just countered everything and had no problem throwing you 3 times in a row.
 
rofl you had no lines of hp left everytime you beat me, and when I beat you with Dan you faked a desynch. GGs scrub.
