The modes will be a nice distraction from the fact that no one plays fighting games where I live. If I had people to play against, I wouldn't care about single player modes, cept practice
So anyone here try out Super Cosplay War Ultra? It's a really well-made PC 2D fighter. You can d/l it here. Oh, and it's totally free.
It about 70 MB, but well worth the d/l if you love good 2D fighters.
Quoted because you all need to download this. The RE girl is genius. I wish I knew how to unlock other fighters.
Haven't you heard of the new modes in SC3? There's Character Creation, Tale of Souls, Chronicles of the Sword, Coin Collector, Dancing Statue, Soul Squash, and Wisp Shoot. Come on!
And IMO, there's no such thing as a bad strategy in a fighter if it wins the match. Unless it's something like Guille's handcuffs.
Dark Resurrection looks good so far. I wonder what's going to be taken out as well as added along with the announced stuff. Can't wait to see more.
SCIII looks great, they're just adding a ton of stuff that I'm liking so far. I may have to pick it up at release, or at least sometime soon afterwards.
Hey guys-- I'm looking to buy a Street Fighter Anniversary guide, with or w/out the OST. Please pm me if yuo can help. I'm getting sick of getting owned by all the master Dudley users on Live. I also have no idea how people are pulling off so many cool juggles and combos in that game >_
It's a pretty in depth guide.......there's more to it then timing shoryukens
2poor-- mostly Ibuki and Makoto.
aw... ibuki and makoto? theyre pretty tough characters to use. ibuki being weak as hell and makoto having to rushdown 100% of the time to be effective.
i dont play makoto much and i dont play ibuki at all.
To the guys that asked about the HRAP Pros... I'm sorry our site currently sold out of them, they were going for $96 shipped. We received way too many orders that Hori has to now order more from their warehouses in Japan... but we will have more for sale in the future, just don't have an EXACT date... I apologize.
Of course it's still tentative, but Sony has no plans on changing this as of yet. I got the info from some connects that work for Activision. They had a meeting with Sony regarding launch titles and this info among other info was given.
To be an expert Ibuki player, you need to rushdown your opponent like crazy. Just learn how to chain most of her combos together, and you can take on just about anyone. I should know, a friend of mine has handed me my ass plenty of times with his Ibuki.
I don't know much about Makoto, so I can't provide much advice to yu there.
A Q is a in' moster in the right hands. I played against someone's Q last week, and he mostly turtled and kara threw the shit outta me. Breaking his defence was really hard, especially after he did Q's taount, which raises his defense by a huge margin, but you all already know that =P
The onyl character I can use effectively is Dudley, so if you need any tips on how to use him, let me know. I'm an intermediate level Dudley player.

$96?? That ain't bad when you compare it to lik-sang's price. But I don't have that kind of money.
Oh yeah, retail on PS3 will be $299.99 btw... Just thought I'd drop that in here.
JESUS! How reliable is your source? Has he provided you info in the past that ended up being true?
is SFIII: 3rd strike, i usually play as hugo, remy, or makoto. i've tried playing with Q a few times, but he doesn't hold my interest much. maybe I should give him another chance.
hugo really sucks though. his large size realy makes it difficult to jump over projectiles. and his HK is pretty much worthless to me. but he's got a 360 throw, and that's why i use him.
makoto i haven't tinkered around with much but i love her rushing punch. i usually alternate that with a few low attacks and mix in the command throw and i'm set... damn i need some real strategy with this game.
I'm down to play if anyone wants to... just let me know...
Thanks, that's very generous of you! Now, if there's a way to play T3 online, then there must be a way to play Melty Blood, but I can't find anything about it...
as for SF3-- I've been watching some Ibuki vids and taking notes...hopefully I'll get a few wins on Live tonight
yeah, they really geared SF3 towards high level play. there's hardly a middle ground between scrubs and masters.
i guess i'm just not used to the speed. it looks very detailed, but it moves too fast for me sometimes. must be from being used to MOTW i guess. also i try to just defend instead of parrying an awful lot.
alright i've downloaded tekken 3, but have yet to set it up. also the cosplay wats game is surpsingly fun! i like the dude that turns into jason and this one guy/chick thing that sorta looks like kyo who turns into all the strange mecha. zoma i think her/his name is. hmm the thread seems to be about done. any ideas for the name of the new one? I say we go with " guilty fighter thread 4: reloadedxx#"
