I think we were talking about how RAs get to keep the crap people leave behind in buildings the other day. Well, one of my old bosses just took the cake on that:

a 40" LCD.

Kid didn't want to bother moving it back home.
I'm not really a people person. :whistle2:|
I'm really paranoid about being fucked over since its happened so many times by the people closest to me so its pretty tough for me to trust a stranger or someone I've only semi-known for a few years/months/whatever. This dude I had been talking to about moving in with moved in with another friend of mine and spent all his money on drugs and beer the first month and couldn't pay his bills/rent. (I didn't even know that he did drugs.) I'd hate for that to happen to me.

Rent down here is really cheap. I'll fall into something. :]
If you don't have too much shit, a studio apartment is always a good choice.
The car I'm driving now had 20k miles put on it in 3 months.
I guess I just don't drive that far since everything I want is near me...and I stopped shopping out so much thanks to Amazon.

I almost got 80K miles on my 10 year old car
Super weird, man.
Not weird at all man...you should feel honored.
I eat vicariously through budge. ;(
I have a friend who has a bootleg version of Vista. If he buys the Windows 7 upgrade, will it work on the ghetto vista?
I'm pretty sure that won't work as the upgrade will be verifying the software before install, so tell "your friend" that he needs the full version.

Queen.

EDIT: The car was my brothers, LinkinPrime. He was doing that whole trafficking thing and from Hidalgo to Dallas its 500 miles and he did close to 20 back and forth trips.

Ah, ya we have a queen, which was quite an upgrade from the Twin XLs we slept in @ the dorms. I'm going to a university-provided full in my new place. I think a full is big for one person, and comfortable for 2. A queen is ridiculous if you're sleeping alone in it.
Lol...but everyone here said I should get a PS3 because they're the best BR players!
Only because the Triple automagically updates to the latest :br: profiles.
Only because the Triple automagically updates to the latest :br: profiles.
Yup...just add 30m-1hr to your movie time before you pop in a new disc

Well that's bullshit. Not that I care though.

You got to keep his car? Wasn't that kind of dangerous with the business he was doing and all?

What kind of car is it?

My bed feels like heaven, though. I have this ridiculously comfortable feather thing on top of my sheets and you sink into it and drift away into dreams of space and titties.

EDIT: Its a 99 Jeep Cherokee, LinkinPrime. When he got arrested, his car was impounded and stripped (light fixtures, stereo area, seats taken out) and they were going to sell it if nobody picked it up in three months. I sucked it up, flew to Dallas, paid the 500 or so to take it out, drove it down, fixed it up, and now its mine. Least he could do after totalling my first car and stealing my money while paying off my second car which led to it being repossessed.
No, the Harmony doesn't work with the PS3 since it's bluetooth. Logitech is coming out with an IR dongle though.
I'll stick with switching between four remotes for now.

What really pisses me off about my car, is that while it's old (92 model) it only has about 75,000 miles on it. Was around 50,000 when it was bought. I thought transmissions usually lasted for more miles than that.

You can get that stuff for any size bed (of course, that costs money). I used to have so much stuff like that on top of my university twinxl bed just to make it comfortable.
Not weird at all man...you should feel honored.
Why would he be honored about the fact that you jerk off to pictures of his girl? :|

Hey munch:

Didja hear that the BH200 :br: Profile 2.0 firmware update should be coming in about 2 weeks?

Only downside is that a 1GB flash drive will need to be attached to it.

Oh...I sorta recall you telling us that story. What kind of car did you have that got totaled?
Space titties.
Where?

It's been out...pricey though $60

To live vicarious through someone =/= jerking off to his GF's pics.
Why would it be dangerous. All it was is a tool.
I don't know...if a rival drug dealer recognizes the car.

A loaded toyota Avalon, LinkinPrime.
Why would it be dangerous. All it was is a tool.
I'm sure alot of people that he was involved with are pretty upset with him now since he got caught and screwed the dealer out of a few thousand bucks. He thinks it might have been a set up since it happens quite often where a smaller load will get busted and a bigger load will squeeze through the same area without being caught since the law enforcement is occupied with busting the smaller load. I've had people ask me how he's doing and when is he getting out that I've never even met before.

Today's my co-worker's last day. Everyone is going out tonight to celebrate his promotion. We have about 30+ people coming at this point. It's going to be a drunkfest.

---

I'm pretty happy I was able to get a 2 for 1 on the polos that I wanted from Express today.

I think the deal was to get out in November, but he's going to have to report to his parole officer twice a week for the next two years, then live out the rest of his parole for the next three years. During that time he can't even leave the state or county without permission. Oh, and a suspended forever license.

Do you think he'll change? Is he going to be staying at your moms?

I wish this station would stop playing Black Eyed Corns.

That Boom Boom Pow song is obnoxious.
Do you think he'll change? Is he going to be staying at your moms?
No idea. The last time he was in jail for a year, he was always up on how he was changed and never wanted to fall into that shit again. He got out, and like an idiot, I lent him a good chunk of change since he had a job in a factory and was going to pay me back, but ended up doing the trafficking thing again a month after he was out. Got caught and I'm never gonna see that chunk of cash ever again. He apologized and said he changed over the last few months, but I really don't care this time and he can rot in Hell for all I care. In my experience, once a junkie/fuck up, always a junkie/fuck up.

I wanted to pre-order the Jeanne Dielman, 23 Quai du Commerce, 1080 Bruxelles Criterion DVD, but why is the pre-order price outrageously high? :bomb:

It's $27.44 at dd, and $35.99 at Amazon.

This description makes me want to pick it up.

Through a series of long takes, JEANNE DIELMAN details the methodical housework and psychological turmoil of a middle-class mother and part-time prostitute (Delphine Seyrig). Over the course of Jeanne's daily rituals (and the film's three-hour-plus running time), her tensions slowly break the ice of her blank affect, leading to a extraordinary climax. A landmark of feminist cinema, this oppressive drama from 25-year-old director Chantal Akerman has divided both critics and audiences: but few can doubt the power of actress Delphine Seyrig's masterful, nearly silent performance.

I wish someone had told me about the VB shirt club. I woulda bought this shirt last year.

That sucks TFN, it's unfortunate that we haven't figured out a good way to rehabilitate people and get them into jobs that don't require them to go out and break the law again.

I might have to pre-order it from DeepDiscount.
