The NFL 2012-13 Season Thread - Super Bowl XLVII is the Harbaugh Bowl!

That three-play series perfectly encapsulated Joe Flacco. Rollout to the left in his own endzone, throw up a prayer for a flag and nearly get picked, lose track of the clock on the next play. Then throw a perfect strike on a seam route. Flacco is much better when he uses his arm rather than his brain.

Hey Denver
That was an excellent game. BAL-NE rematch incoming.
I'm not taking anything for granted. This was no bigger an upset than a Houston win tomorrow would be.

I've been saying this for a while, when's the last time Denver beat a legit team? Nothing but creampuff teams during that win streak. Also Peyton Manning sucks after a 1st round bye. And in the cold. And generally in the postseason.

Well they beat the Ravens in Baltimore. I'd say they just removed themselves from the creampuff category.
Hello, James Jones. That was an insane catch.
Yeah it was, haha. I thought it would be intercepted.

Wasn't the same Ravens team with all the injuries. In addition to Denver they lost to Pittsburgh, Washington, and Cincy in their last 5 games.

You could see some trends going the Ravens way (the weather, Ravens getting healthier, Flacco's improved performance the past few weeks) but Houston hasn't had that, really. Their offense has basically shut down.

In other news, as much as I love Caldwell as OC (not enough to hand him the job next year, but he has been pretty good), I have to wonder what the hell was up with all the running plays in OT when passing is what won the game. The only play that worked was the draw, and the Ravens only used that one time.

Oh, and I feel much more confident about the Ravens going against the Pats than Peyton.

I have been wondering this for a while now: Why is it so dark down there? Mile High was bright as hell, but Candlestick looks like the lights are about to go out.

EDIT: I guess it's just Fox. Their studio is dark too.

Yeah he is borderline dirty.

Based strictly on their size, I would rather have Kaepernick as my QB over RGIII.

you are so lucky that the road to the Super Bowl goes through NE because the same question could be asked of NE on the road. They didn't beat a playoff calibur team away from foxboro all year.

are the packers going to finally get rid of dom capers? jeez that guy is terrible. their O has carried the team so long, if they ever got help on D they would be scary good. that 49ers run game was great tonight.

I told my dad and brother the Ravens would win. They didn't believe me.
I told them BAL-DEN would go to double overtime. They didn't believe me.
I told them not to trust Peyton Manning in the Playoffs. They didn't believe me.

I feel vindicated. And San Francisco won like I thought too.

No way you called 2OT prior to kickoff. :hot:

I was 4-0 last week and feeling like a genius and I'm 0-2 this week and still feeling like a genius although I don't feel quite as good about the Seahawks since we already had the big upset.
