The Celtics might be able to steal one on the road, their best chance is Game 4, Game 3 the Pistons will win, and get comfortable and not 'flip the switch' and Boston might be able to steal one. They need the Big 3 all to come together for one dominating effort, tonight was mostly Allen and KG.

What 3 are you referring to?
Pierce, Garnett, and Allen all were in double digits. Allen got the highlight because he was able to break his scoring slump, KG and Pierce were doing their jobs respectively. The Pistons were just fighting back and kept answering back whenever the Celtics made a push, especially at the end. If the Pistons had missed any ONE of those jump shots near the end, it probably would've been a different outcome.
If anything, Rondo could've contributed more.

I kinda thought the same thing, it's just that they sacrificed a bit too much to get him going again, but maybe they're looking at the bigger picture and want to get the whole unit running in time for the Championship Finals, they probably feel like if they can get the whole team running at full speed, nothing can stop them (and that just might be the case).
Pistons however, have shown they can compete and their defense is looking pretty good so far, but even with the Celtics shooting at a pretty low percentage, they still gave up a lot of points. Piston games are usually slow, low-scoring games

Ray Allen's effectiveness was limited by the fouls he picked up before he started hitting his shots, his minutes were cut way shorter than they would've been.
The Celtics didn't play very well on D, got nothing out of their bench, and were still in the game. Their bench scored 8 points, and they still scored 97 points.
The Pistons won because they were grabbing a lot of offensive rebounds in the 2nd half, they nailed 3 straight 3's after the Celtics made their run in the 3rd quarter, and because the Celtics were taking stupid fouls and getting them to the line. This series will be close, but I'm certainly not fearful at this point. I'd be more concerned if they figured out how to stop the Celtics from scoring, but they haven't.
By the way, if thats a goaltend then shotblocking in the NBA is completely illegal. If that ball is already on its "downward flight" by the time Garnett touches it, it has no chance of hitting the rim anyway, and by definition it isn't goaltending.

I thought that was a ridiculous call too, and I'm a Pistons fan. But if you watched the replay, it was a really tough call. I thought Garnett blocked it right on Tayshaun's release, but didn't seem so in the replay. It could've gone either way.

Great game by the Lakers . Tonight is what I want to keep on seeing from Lamar Odom. He played excellent , and I hope he can keep it up.

While the Lakers were dominating, I was surprised to see Pops give up with nine minutes left. Maybe he saw something in his players, but I guess he was out of options or something.
It was nice to see bench vs. bench though, pretty entertaining. They should've given it to Ariza a lot more though, he needs to get back into the groove.

That game was played really well by the Lakers. The Machine aka Sasha and Jordan finally reappeared and contributed very well also.
I was a little surprised that Trevor Ariza came into the game and scored his 2. He looks healthy out there and ready to play in game 3 when needed!
Good Job Lakers and nice win. I hope this series can end in 6. I really wanna see the Spurs done and fishing in 6.

sorry for quoting an old post, but that was definitely a goal tend...at first it looked clean cuz i wasn't as attentive on the ball's actual movement, but after the replay it was definitely going downtown charlie brown
anyway, i like the idea of KG gettin a championship but i'd rather the pistons make another run for a championship before they get too old...plus i like the pistons as a team...i don't know why but they are fun for me to watch even though they are kind of slow and methodical...it just seems to perfect for a team to get about 25 wins one season then make it to the finals the next...seems unreal
