What's so great about Pacific Rim? Honest question never seen it, seems as EVERYONE is getting it though

Honestly, I don't even know how to fully explain my love for this movie in words. But I can sit and watch it six times in a row and never get bored. I haven't been able to do that since I was in the third grade and obsessed with the original Star Wars trilogy.

I ordered a few movies when the sales went live (around 4am eastern) and got the confirmation shipping email later on that day around 2:30pm. Now every time I go to check the tracking information, its still at the point of a label just being created. Is this going on for anyone else?

TBH IDK either. It's more of a turn your brain off movie because the script is pretty terrible lol. It's a fun adventure movie but that's about it. Even for $6 I didn't buy it because I know I'd never watch it again.

I just watched it tonight and its really just a good poporn flick to see robots fight monsters. It wont win any awards for story or acting but for $6 it looks great on Blu-Ray and was a fun movie.

I also watched Monsters University last night, it wasnt anything special. Really felt like a cash-in for Pixar more than anything else. Still, $10 was a good price for it.

I just watched it tonight and its really just a good poporn flick to see robots fight monsters. It wont win any awards for story or acting but for $6 it looks great on Blu-Ray and was a fun movie.

Yeah but the problem is there are a whole 3 robot monster fights in the whole movie, and two of them are essentially story mode fights (the first and the last). It failed as an action movie, because there is very little action and a whole lot of bad fluff.

The show is literally a comic book brought to life. With one cop on every scene, over the top fight scenes, super melodramatic and oversexualized (so many abs), but it works. Like first few episodes I found it dumb, but couldn't stop watching and without noticing it got better and better and with the second season it seems to have taken all the ridiculousness (Oliver's high, high body count) and somehow work it in the story to move the characters and things forward.

Has Amazon offered deals past Cyber Monday in years past?  I'm looking to get Person of Interest Season 2, Walking Dead Season 1, 2 and 3 and maybe Jurassic Park Trilogy on Bluray

I would love a deal on at least the walking dead seasons but I didn't get the DVD lighting deals in time so I was holding out hope for bluray deals however I don't want to lose the current prices some of these are at either.

Edit: It helps when I read so the website says they will add new deals all week.  Anyone have any insight on Amazon and how they work as far as the current prices?  Will they go back to normal during the week or wait until all sales are over?

I would say there is a chance for them to fluctuate at any time really. Had a few things in my cart over the past week that jumped up in price. Though I have seen some things stay the same throughout the sale.. so who knows :/

Arrow also reassures me that a live action Assassin's Creed movie/TV show wouldn't be terrible. Hooded assassin kills targets that are evil. A description that suits both.

But overall, Arrow is just somewhat mindless fun. And the story (mostly flashbacks) make me want to see more.
