landed a sega game gear used about 5 times in the box with the battery expansion in box. with 9 games in their boxes and a gameboy color new in the box for $45 today.

Ya i checked the prices of the games. But alot of them don't have any active auctions on ebay atm. I think Guardian Heroes only had one and Mortal Kombat Trilogy had none. I would offer 110, but just coming back from a vacation i already have a dent in my wallet!

You'll easily make back $110.00 on that stuff.

MK Trilogy was going for $40.00 last September when I sold one. GH goes for around $60.00, Mr. Bones will get you $20 - $30, Die Hard Arcade will get you about $30, and you've already made your money back, so I'll stop listing stuff.

Wait, are you giving the $75 extra or are you getting the $75 along with the PS3. Even if you're giving the PS2 package and $75, that's a good trade for a PS3. If you're receiving the $75 along with the PS3 that's a great deal. Those games aren't even worth $75 combined, so you'd be essentially trading a PS2 for a PS3.

I'm giving the $75. I need to drive to him so I will probably bring a few extra games that he can browse and chip away at the $75 when I'm there. What's the latest on the price drop?

Buy it ASAP and offer full asking as long as it's in compete condition. That Zelda Collector's edition would probably pay for the whole thing itself. Just make sure that is complete and do your negotiating when you have the system in hand, not a minute sooner.

Probably not, whenver I see lots of the same console with a lot of unnamed games you can bet they are mostly sport titles (essentially worthless) or pretty common stuff. I would expect they are a reseller who is just trying to unload their crap all at once instead of going through the hassle. Ask for a list of games though and see what he comes back with (probably too many to list, see pics, or great titles which would be red flag).

At first glance not worth even a $100, lot of common titles there and xbox's just aren't that easy to sell. Maybe $75 if you wanted one of the consoles.

Nice haul, the other week I come across a cl ad for a xbox 360 power brick. Guy has story about red ring death yada yada. In the ad he has brick, av cords, wired controller and wireless controller for $30 which is a pretty good haul. Later that day I recognize the same guy is posting his 360 collection for $25-$35 a piece (not so great) but he had WaW and Fallout 3 which I was looking for. I email him back and offer $60 for those two games and the stuff from before, accepted. I pick the stuff up and he's like 16 or 17 and obviously doesn't want this stuff anymore. I do my old "what else you selling routine" and he produces 6 more 360 games (GTAIV, Dragonball, Endwar, Midnight Club, L4D, GoW 2). I see he obviously just wants to get rid of this stuff so I offer him $20 for it all. He says no but would accept $30, DONE. Then I get upset at myself for overpaying for WaW and Fallout 3 ;).

See if you can get it for $300 cash. Tell him you have the cash right now, no bullshit, and will go get it right now, take it or leave it.

The games are generally great but are older at this point, so treat it like this:

Used Wii + Wii Sports = $200 (same price as a used one at Gamestop, feel free to tell him that...and they are readily available everywhere now)

Zelda TP, SSBB, SMG, and Metroid Prime are worth ~$25 now or less, just tell him you can buy each one used for around $20-25 at Gamestop :roll:

Excite Truck is just about worthless, at least in my opinion LOL, so consider that the freebie.

And of course, this is only because it's for your personal collection. I wouldn't pay more than $200 for that bundle if I was looking to resell...

A used system on craigslist is not worth $250 at least it shouldn't be because if it breaks you are sol (currently $100-$125 for as-is systems on ebay). I value a used Wii at $150-165 + $15-$25 per game for what was listed. Then again I normally resell alot of stuff so I end up taking 15-20% off the top for expected fees.
 
I am gonna pick it up now. I'm paying $300. It was not for resell also. I checked off hand and all the extra games and access would cost $240 used @ GS, knock 30% off to come up with $168 for a price on those games. $200-220 for a used wii. Freebies are the dowwnloaded games.

Games are complete and scratch free. System has no defects, clean and runs great. The classic controller was dirty but other than that really decent deal. The guy took my killzone 2 and knocked $45 off. That was good since I just got it for 35 from GS. Didn't care for it so it all worked good. It wasn't like a killer deal but considering most people are selling for much more or have crap games with their bundle it was a good deal. It also had the nyko wireless sensor bar.

Hey, if it's for personal use I think you did just fine. It's a very good bundle, and just imagine what you'd have paid for all of that brand new, or even used and in no doubt worse condition via Gamestop.

Our deals can't all be $.50 Final Fantasy VII's complete black label, etc.

I had contacted this guy in WeHo a while back because he was selling a "modded Gamecube with 11 games", asking $50 and in the pics the games he had with it were all of the Zeldas (including collector's and ocarina), Metal Gear Twin Snakes, Ikaruga, both Pikmins and some other games. I'm talking he had a pic of the game cases, none of the games listed out in the ad so I got my hope up. And he listed 2 wavebirds as well with it.

So after a couple of weeks without a response, I assumed he had obviously sold it, since with those games alone it would have been a great score.

He emails me today saying that he still has it, so I ask if the games are originals or copies. All copies, and no controllers included. WTF, $50???

And why the hell did he originally have what looked like the real cases pictured in his ad???

I just bought the Wii stuff, dude would not move an inch on any of the other bundles. I traded in Monkey Ball Banana Blits, Excite Truck, Rayman Raving Rabbids, Sonic Riders Zero Gravity, and Elibits to Gamespot for $60 in credit because I needed some gamespot credit anyway and got near what I would have gotten via ebay without the hassle. Wii Sports, Tiger Woods, and Okami should net me an additional $60-70 on Ebay or craigslist.

But please tell me you traded in one additional game with that set, in order to score the 40% trade in bonus Gamestop currently has going when you trade in 6 or more. If not, find another game to trade in or just buy a $.99 PS2 sports game and go back and get the additional trade in credit added on.

The difference is 20% bonus versus 40% bonus!!!

Don't worry, Madden 2002 PS2 was also traded in. I keep a special stack of games just for this instance. I have a crap pile (sport and other games under $1), ($1-3 games that I trade in when it's trade 2 and get $10 bonus) and my ebay/craigslist pile that I can easily convert to cash.

Yeah buddy, that's a decent price. Looks like quite a few great titles. If it were in my area, I would bite. Maybe you could offer $60 and get away with it...

I originally offered $60, he came back with $100. I asked him if he was interested in a trade, maybe n64 and a few games. He said no but specifically mentions a final fantasy VII. I say I have one and ask him what else he would need, he says $75 and FF VII, I point him in the direction of ebay for the value of it and he replies that he had no idea. He comes back with $70 and I say ok if he includes Dynasty Warriors 6 for xbox 360 (which I always like to do when negotiating (throw in a higher priced game to agree to their higher offer)) and he comes back that $60 is ok (worked like a charm). I'll probably get it for $40-$50 when all said and done.
