I think he's trying to sell it at that price, not buy it.

If you sold everything individually on ebay, that would probably go for around $120 if everything is in good condition. So you knock off money for selling it as a bundle, some more for the medium condition items, and then some more for selling it on craigslist. Ask for something like 90 and see if it flies.
 
Damn it. Whats with everyone and modded Wiis. I've gone through probably 10 different posts of Modded Wiis, or offers to Mod Wiis. I have found 1 Okami (What I'm looking for) though, in a bundle with A Wii, 2 Remotes+Nunchucks, Nyko Battery Charger (2 Packs and Covers) and Zelda for $330.

Damn modders

Really tempted to go through with this (all are DS games):

Kingdom Hearts 358/2 Days, New Super Mario Bros, and Prince of Persia: The Fallen King, all for $20. The guy lives about 30 miles away from me, and I already own KH and PoP, but $20 seems pretty good.

I sent an e-mail saying I was interested and asking if they were still available. I just checked both Kingdom Hearts and NSMB's TIV at Amazon...not bad. Nearly $19 for NSMB and $15.50 for KH. I'd probably keep the former and sell the latter to my friend for like $10 or something.

Edit: Darn, they're sold :cry:

Picked up the lot tonight, here are some pics. Turned out it was a DS Lite! Paid asking price of $65 because I thought that was a pretty good price. I bought this to resell (with the exception of a few games) so contact me if you are interested in anything.

Tomorrow morning I am going to be trading a Singstar Bundle (PS3) for an 8GB iPod Touch! Hopefully all goes well there.
 
I picked up a PS3 that the owner said had a broken drive. Originally they posted the ad for $120, but kept getting trade offers only. I offered cash and they asked if $100 sounded reasonable (I didn't talk them down, they did that themselves o_o).

Anyway I send my husband to snag it and he brings it home. I load a disc into the drive, doesn't work. The night before I was reading on possible fixes for this so I reformatted the drive and updated the firmware. Popped a disc in and works perfectly.

The best part is, this is a PS3 with some backwards compatibility and it came with the original box, sans instruction manuals. I am so happy at the moment! :)

1stGen 8GB Ipod Touch: Which is in amazing condition! And he threw in a FM Tuner!

Did the person you bought them off of say they 'fell off the back of a truck', cuz that's what it sounds like happened here. They were/are probably stolen.:roll:

Is there an easy way to check if its banned, other than trying to go on xbox live with it? I already have an Elite, I was just buying this as a backup/collector's item. Also the guy had about 10 xbox 360 consoles. I'm pretty sure he just takes in broken consoles, fixes them, and sells them for profit.
 
I just bought Final Fantasy 3 for SNES today for 20 dollars from a guy. I also picked up Castlevania 4 for 14.00 and Megaman 2 for 12 dollars from a store.
 
Billymays21 those are about the VGPC prices right now, did you try hagglin any? Seems alittle high to me but thats comin from someone who has picked up those same games from Goodwill for $4 apiece.

Connecting to live would be easiest. Banned consoles also can't install games to the hard drive.
 
Picked up Rockband equipment for Wii tonight . The guy asked for $40, I offered $30 and he took it.
Got the Drums, Wireless Guitar, and Microphone.
I've been looking for a good deal on just the equipment so I am quite happy with this!

Not the greatest find in the world, but got Ninja Gaiden Sigma (NON-GH), Stranglehold Collector's Edition and Uncharted 2 all for the PS3 for $60 today. I'm pleased.
 
damn, missed out on a SNES with 15 games (some good ones), 2 controller, and an arcade controller for $50 and a NES with 45 games and 35 booklets for $75 because noone on CL ever wants to mail stuff. my cars been out since before thanksgiving and i only drive my dads truck to work and around town since its a gas hog so i couldnt meet these people.
 
Been a while but I just landed a pretty decent score.

On top of this score, I was checking my shopping cart on amazon after adding New Super Mario Bros Wii, and warehousedeals dropped the price of the mint/complete Persona 1 (PS1) they had listed from $71.99 to $21.99, so I instantly swooped on that one. It had been fluctuating from $89.99 to $119 or something ridiculous, then suddenly went from $91.99 to $71.99 a week ago, then all of a sudden dropped huge. No idea how amazon's warehouse still has some random open copies of some of these games, but every time I've ordered on from there it's been just super mint and complete, only missing the plastic wrap.

Picked up these for $25 total

It was a craigslist ad, advertised 50 games for $5 each and was in my neighborhood so I looked at cherry picked out these.
 
Jaguar system with CD attachment, one controller, two games and one Jaguar CD game for 60. The games are worthless, but I think it was still a good pickup based off the two systems I picked up.
 
Awesome scores, guys. Keep it up. I've just been buying up cheap N64 bundles as that has been the source of the best deals lately, some cheap NES and SNES bundles as well as GB/GBC/GBA though fewer and fewer there, and the occasional cheap PS1 bundles, Saturn, and some last gen bundles PS2 and GC mainly. Everything else outside of current gen and original XBox is very rare to turn up, even in a city and region as huge as LA/SoCal. Or actually, it's just not turning up on craigslist (anymore).

CD-i with two games, controller and power cord- 20 bucks (If anyone's really curious, I'll try to get the model number, but it was a Maganaxov model that's huge and weighs a shit ton, hope it has the video card upgrade thing built in like some of the models do)

Game Axe Color boxed and in very good shape, just missing NES adapter- 40 dollars

Hell, I'd go w/ the 60gb one. It's one of the older units that's completely backwards compatible and are becoming rare at this point.

Only the bigger one has a monitor and wiring.
The smaller one is empty.
This was one of those rare times the seller was willing to hold for me.
I think he held both for me for like 2-3 weeks.
