I'm way stoked on Thunderhorse, but I don't see how playing that or (especially) Trogdor are going to work...they're so SHORT!

It's gunna be weird.

I still like that it's going to happen, though.
Apparently you didn't buy the Strong Bad Sings and Other Type Hits CD they released a couple years ago. It has a longer version of the song. It's completely fleshed out and sounds a lot better since they recorded it with a real band and not just the two dudes and one guitar.

Damn, how am I supposed to wait for the 360 version with Trogdor on it?

Nice to see another Freezepop song, that was one of my favorite songs to play on the first one.
Doesn't look like it. Looks like $49.99 is the MSRP, too. I haven't really seen anything lower anywhere on either the game alone or the bundle right now. Hopefully something will pop up once it comes out in two weeks.

EDIT: Looks like the full bonus tracklist is out! Apparently some Wal-Marts have already gotten the full game in and that's where confirmation of the list is coming from; they can't sell it, but they can use it for demoing!

Dethklok - Thunderhorse
Drist - Arterial Black
Every Time I Die - The New Black
Anarchy Club - Collide
Valient Thorr - Fall of Pangea
Vagiant - FTK
Breaking Wheel - One For the Road
Buckethead - Jordan
All That Remains - Six
Made In Mexico - Yes We Can
Voivod - The X-Stream
That Handsome Devil - Elephant Bones
The Acrobrats - Laugh Track
Bang Camaro -Push Push Lady Lightning
Freezepop - Less Talk More Rokk
Royal Crowns - Mr. Fixit
Shadows Fall - The Light That Blinds
Honest Bob and the Factory-To-Dealer Incentives - Soy Bomb
The Last Vegas - Raw Dog
Count Zero - Radium Eye
Brian Kahanek - Gemini
Trogdor
The Neighborhoods - Parasite
Megasus? - Red Lottery
This is going to be the best game of all time. I can't believe All That Remains is there.
What are you talking about? You can dl a full version of Thunderhorse from the AS website that is 3 minutes long.
Ah, totally didn't know that. Going to go listen to it right now.

You're right, I have better things to do with my money.
Ah, totally didn't know that. Going to go listen to it right now.
Yeah, that was pretty awesome. This is going to rule.

I don't.

Strong Bad FTMFW.
Here's a video of someone who hacked the OPM demo to play Psychobilly Freakout, on expert. As far as I can tell, this is the correct fingering from the 10-song demo.

Fast forward to 1:30 to get to the gameplay.
Damn, actually thought that was the guy playing at first.

fuck If you want the game now, Track Down This Wal-Mart:

Apparently those pics are from one in Arkansas, but I'd imagine there are more who've already got it out

As I said in the other thread about the broken street date, I'm going to a Walmart on the way home and calling the rest in my area.

I'm surprised they had a price for GH 2.

A buddy of mine (BlindTheThief), called up two Walmarts near where we live recently. One store didn't have the game, the other did but said that the register wasn't giving her the price for it.

Then she looked it up and said it wasn't supposed to be out until November 7th.

Good luck to all those looking for it. I may search for it this Friday.
So you got one? Or do they just have them out on display?
Called, guy I spoke to said he had a ton of them out on display and said I would be able to buy one today. Can't wait till after work.

No luck in my portion of Ohio. Called two, visited one, nothing in any of 'em. Heck, Best Buy and EB don't even have the demo copies yet.

It's a no go at my wal mart. I'm not going to buy the game, so I'm not exactly sure why I called. But you're not going to get one in starkville Mississippi.

Which two, shecky?

I will check to-morrows at mine.

Myke, you are allowed to come to my house and play it if I get it.

But bring your own damn guitar. I don't want vermin prints all over mine.

I'm not sure if this has been covered in the past 19 pages or not but I want to know if there is a reason why GH2 is $10 more than GH1.

I'll bring the plastic sheets if you provide the whiskey.

Hmm. I'll pick "because they fucking CAN," Alex. Truth be told, after reading about the improvements to the gee-tar, I'm wondering if buying the whole shebang (as opposed to the game by itself) is in my best interest. Perhaps I'll wait for the kids here to tell me if they like the new Guitar any better.

HO ho.

You clearly have no idea who you are talking to.
Bitch, I have tequila in different colors.

And patterns.
So, then, you'll be catching, right?

Otherwise it's Scotch.

My Scottish roots stand at the ready with the wind to their back and the sun to their face.

I'll be doing that so I have enough controllers to play co-op with my friends that have Guitar Hero-deficiency.

That's pretty much the reason. GH1 MSRP jumped to 80 bucks shortly after release, after seeing the fervor.

However, GameCrazy is selling GH2 for $70.

Theyve got the 10 song demo at the Porter Ranch, CA BestBuy, if anyone in the SFV area wants to try out the new songs
So wait, whats the difference between the old guitar and the new one?
Stronger whammy bar, quieter strum bar (less clacking!), and slightly more raised fret buttons. So I hear.
Negative.. 79.99 for the game and guitar
What the fuck? When I pre-ordered, they told me that it was gonna be 69.99. With any luck, that's somewhere on my reciept. =\

It's really weird they used the alternate version of Misirlou. Wonder why that happened.

Not complaining, I'll never fault Dick Dale for anything...he has a song called "Terra Dictyl" for god's sake.
Checked yesterday at the Auburn Hills, MI Wal-Mart. Nothin' there.
I checked three Wal-Marts around here with no luck either. No big deal for me in the end; I'll be paying less by buying it at Best Buy since I've got some Reward Zone certificates I can use.

And if anyone was curious about what Red Octane's new wireless guitar looks like, here ya go:

Wow, looks nice...but I just called in a warranty to replace my new guitar, so again, I can't justify purchasing it when the one I have is practically brand new. Ah well.

Hmm. What exactly is the warranty period for the guitars? I have two, one that's fairly beat up and one that's gently used. I wouldn't mind playing the first one to death to get a new one if possible.

EDIT: Dur. The reason I opened this thread.

Played the new demo. Psychobilly Freakout is ludicrous. Beat it, failed it, beat it again. It's T-U-F-F. The other songs are cool as well.
