Mobo and case look fine. The PS looks kinda pricey... is it supposed to be, like, some sort of "super-quality" model? Because I don't really see too much reason to spend so much on a PS.
As for the processor, I would probably save ~$100 and go E6750, but if you've got the budget than aim higher.
Also, no graphics card?
The PSU is indeed high quality and--this is why it's worth it to me--it's modular.
I realize the E6750 is significantly cheaper, but I do want this computer to last several years at least, so I'd like to skimp as little as possible. =p
No graphics card because a) it's not essential immediately, so waiting on it leaves me more money for now and b) I have a 6800 that does a well enough job and will hold me over.
The idea of having four processors is not something I could pass up.
I don't know if you're planning on gaming or what not ($$$$$$), but this guy has a pretty nice deal on a 8800GT:
http://www.cheapassgamer.com/forums/...d.php?t=168271
4 cores is tempting, but I'm not sure just how much more performance it offers over two. I'm waiting on an answer from the guys that know their stuff in the PC forum.
Thanks for the heads up on that 8800GT, but like I said to Moxio, I'm spending all the spare cash I have on this stuff, so a new graphics card is going to have to wait.
