THE SPIRIT SQUAD

.... and you guys thought the Cena thread was gay.

I like it. I like it a lot. But I guessed wrong. I was making a reply to the old thread:
Now.... let's get the new topic going. Who can it be.... oh who can it be........
My response: "The Zenithian Legend Racist Horse Wrestling Thread?"

The Spirit Squad was actually pretty good until they became DX's personal jobbing squad. I wish they would bring up more development people that way.

Also carried on from the past thread

Shipping for me is $4.60 (Priority Mail), making it $19.59 shipped. For the $1.60 difference, I'd rather support the company directly and give them 100% of the profits. PWG's a company that's owned directly by the talent they book (Super Dragon, Joey Ryan, Scott Lost, TopGun Talwar, Excalibur, and Disco Machine), and I don't mind supporting our hometown federation and helping them book bigger and better shows (and continue to put these DVD's out).

I would usually buy straight from the company too but I have Amazon Prime so not only would I save money, but I would get it a day or two earlier since I'm on the east coast.

Try emailing them or calling them tomorrow and explain what happened. Since it's Sunday, they maybe able to cancel your order or add that disc.

Phone: (215) 781-2500

If not, it's the perfect time to place a second order with more crap along with your AJ Styles Vol 1 disc ;)

I guess with a new thread I'll plug Play Per View at Stablewars again.

http://www.stablewars.com/ppv/registration.php?fed=WWE

We play these for every wrestling PPV, Ring of Honor included...

plus we just started with Ultimate Fighting.

Yes, I'm shameless, but the games a free and a lot of fun. Scoring is based on how everyone else picks. One point for getting a match correct + 1 point for every person that doesn't get that match correct.

And with the news that Batista is leaving for a while after One Night Stand, I changed my pick to Shawn Michaels.

i didn't think you'd have the balls to go through with it. my vote is still for a "zen davis is banned, PLEASE COME BACK GUYVER" thread for the next one.

fuck you i wouldnt have the balls to do it, i never even considered making another one aside from the one you mentioned. but this was to good to pass up.

I have fond memories of the Ultimate Warrior/Papa Shango feud. The keyword to access that catalog of memories? "Green puke." Enjoy. :D;)

Heh. Spirit Squad.

On another note, I got back from Orlando last night and since I wasn't able to see Impact at the hotel Thursday I watched it last night. TNA's Knockouts are freaking awesome. I really like bald Roxxi. She is as agressive in the ring as any guy I have seen. That fallaway slam on Angelina is the type of thing you just don't see from WWE Divas. I also like "The Beautiful People" gimmick that Angelina and Velvet Sky have. I really think if they can get some more great female wrestlers that Knockouts should have their own seperate show.

good deals but what's up with shipping being overnight, one day or two day (no cheap shipping :whistle2:#)
That Hammerstein crowd really laid into Orton during that match. Not as bad as Cena, but still.
It's about as bad when they came back for that ECW show with Big Show & Batista in the main event.
I wish they'd do all the WWECW shows at Hammerstein. That would actually make the show worth watching.
Most of the chants would probably be towards Adamle.

So, no comments on the Low Ki/KENTA match?
I finally figured out how to do it so here's Low Ki Vs KENTA from RoH Final Battle 2005

USPS Priority Mail should be one of the options (although it's still not cheap, $7.95, but it's the cheapest they have)
The phone # is disconnected but I've sent them an email. Thanks again for the contact info.
No problem.

That's weird about the phone # though, I grabbed all of that information from the main site.

Karen Angle cursing is hot.

Also, Orton biting Kurt during the "Orton Sucks Dick" chant has me pondering if there is any deeper meaning. :hot:

*snif*

I remember when ONS was a PPV I was excited for for months over.

Now I forget that it's tonight until I see this thread.
So, no comments on the Low Ki/KENTA match?
I took a break from Mass Effect to check it out. Excellent performance from both guys. Very well-paced and very stiff if I might add. That stomp when KENTA was in the Tree of Woe position = :whee:

During the match, I sat back and thought to myself that Rocky Romero must have been studying some of Low-Ki's old matches, because whenever I see him in the ring, his kicks are very reminiscent to Low-Ki's.

Thanks for the upload.
I hate to admit it, but it kind of is. 8-[
There is nothing to fear, Guile. Now, come to daddy, and give him a hug. :^o:booty:

At least the first one was amazing. The second one.. not so much. Most people don't even remember the third (Lashley/McMahon), and tonight's will be horrible, especially considering that (match spoiler)
the current plan calls for Undertaker to lose and leave the WWE

The second was very good, I disagree.

Doesn't make either of us right, but the first two were very good, but very different shows.

But, for those two, they at least catered to the crowd, and didn't try to do what they've done since.

"If Cena Wins We Riot" indeed.

The rush springboard back-brain kick sequence was nice. But my favorite moment of the match? The rush Super Falcon Arrow. I marked out, at that point, and again, when Low Ki caught KENTA and turned things into a messy Ki Crusher, and yet again, at the ending sequence. Also, kudos to Prazak for not over-commentating, and letting the match speak for itself.

Thanks for the upload, Sporadic. Five-star upload. ;)

Tonight's ONS lineup is worlds better than last year's, and could be a good show, but will probably only be memorable if 'Taker actually does "retire". Beyond ONS 2, WWE had an ECW on Sci-Fi show at the Hammerstein, and it was riveting TV. Punk's debut ruled it, and then the crowd just epically shit on the Batista-Big Show main event.

The botchamania spot with Traci tossing herself over the top rope was...amazing, and industry-exposing in a major way.
The botchamania spot with Traci tossing herself over the top rope was...amazing, and industry-exposing in a major way.
You expect anything different from TNA these days? ;)

Well, there's some truth to that (although I think TNA's improved a bit in '08 compared to '07), but GOOD LORD was that spot ever just awful-looking.

Haven't watched it yet but thanks for the upload. It has entered the great hard drive wrestling archive. Now I just need to finish homework and get sick again so I can sit around and do nothing but watch wrestling all day.
