Hmm... now what to vote for...

Hey!  Why's my selection already made for KRZ?!?

Whatever, I have no horse in this race.  Imo, Dragon's Lair would be interesting, but I'm not going to buy it for $5.

I wonder if we (CAG's) will get trolled to the point that STALKER series, Vampire: Bloodlines, and Jade Empire will all go on sale right after Steam Summer Sale is OVER.... ;)

EDIT:
Should note - I own most of these already away from Steam (i.e. Retail for all except STALKER: Call of Pripyat - I own STALKER: COP from GameStop PC App).
That's fine by me. I loved the first entry in the series and I've been itching to pick up CoP for a long time. But for my backlog, I'd regret passing up on it last year at $3.75. Still keeping my fingers crossed though...

100k loan? Damn, hope that works out. I was too afraid of that debt, and was cool with getting accustomed to all the different makes of trucks.
The jobs that I take is now worth 10-15k so the loan amount shouldn't be a big deal. Beats getting 2-5 k for the same amount of work.

I figure, I will get the money rolling, hire a driver and I can take the quick job at my leisure while the hired makes money for me.
The way you guys describe it make it almost sound like A&E shipping wars. My curiosity is piqued.

Right, normally. But you went and did it anyway. Weird.

Oh great... Kentucky Route Zero finally makes it into the sale and has to compete with two $5.00 options. /sigh

I'm voting KRZ (obviously), but I'd wager Dragon's Lair wins with at least 40% of the vote :whistle2:| .

This is my problem with how they've been doing things the last 3 or 4 sales in a nutshell.  They put all the overexposed crap up three (and possibly more) times while on the last couple of days they cram other stuff into community votes where only one will get chosen.  All of that stuff should get at least one flash instead of repeating the same crap.

Kentucky Route Zero doesn't have any chance at winning. Most people aren't going to take the time to click on the image to see what the game is. Even I had no idea what game the pic represented until I clicked on it.

I fully expect Evoland to win.

Although understandable, you'd just see even more complaining about 'Omg, it's all boring repeats in the flash sales'.

Someone will complain either way.

All 3 will probably end up in bundles sooner rather then later anyway

I don't get it. We get rehashes ad nauseum via flash sales, but steam puts the unique sales in community votes where they have a high chance of losing due to most users' inability to realize which deals have already been posted multiple times. Then these unique deals never make it on sale. I wouldn't mind if the community votes just allowed certain deals to happen earlier rather than later, but why would valve troll with their interesting deals like this?

I'm guessing conquistador, carpe fulgur games and Kentucky route zero get a daily soon after the sale a la jade empire.

I just got DI: Riptide "Steam Summer Getaway Card" (SSGC) from Community Voting.

Now I only need the Tomb Raider SSGC - and I'll have all TEN! :D

I would like KRZ, but probably not at $12.50 or 50% off. I still voted for it though.

I'm basically hoping amazon will pm so I can get an additional 15% off. However, I don't think amazon has does any price matching all weekend so I probably shouldn't get my hopes up. Only tony does that stuff and he hasn't really been around much anymore.... It makes me question the long term prospects for amazon pcdd when they rely so heavily on just one person... They're not a small company, they could probably afford o hire a few people to help him haha.

I mentioned 3 and SA because that comparison has more similarities to a comparison between JC and JC2: the sequels share similar environments to their predecessors, and there's a reasonable jump in tech and polish between games.
Ahhhh, okay - pretty good point.

Point taken.

I'm surprised that it hasn't been mentioned yet (unless it has, in which case I'm not surprised) but GetGamesGo is having a sale on some SEGA FPS games and some LEGO games. Supposedly 75% off, but it'd pay to check the base price on Steam first.

Aliens: CM $12.49

Alpha Protocol $3.74

AVP $3.74

Binary Domain $6.24

LEGO Batman $4.99

LEGO Batman 2 $7.49

LEGO Harry Potter 1-4, 5-7 $4.99 each

LEGO LOTR $7.49
Alpha Protocol is severely underrated and is a steal at $3.74.

Binary Domain was definitely one of those Sleeper Hits - I really liked it.

Not sure if that's been cheaper before, though.

My cards "luck" is ridiculous.... 19 cards but only 8/10 and even one 4 of a kind.

My thoughts exactly.

Vote Kentucky Route Zero in the current vote

And I'm surprised some of you who are close to getting a badge haven't just traded or sold some of your extras to buy others.  If you put'em up for sale they'll send in a few seconds usually...

Hopefully Rouge Legacy will get a bigger discount today if not I will cave and buy it at $11.99.
Amazon is supposed to be price matching RL today so if you haven't used the GOONCAVE coupon code yet and aren't trying to spend CARDZZZZZZZZZz money you should be able to get it 15% cheaper than Steam's price of $11.99.

fixed ;)
