There was a huge sale on Assassin's Creed games in the Nuuvem summer sale. All games + DLCs (including ACIII deluxe) for $35 dollars I think, which I picked up even though I had a few on xbox already. All uplay only though (which I actually like so wasn't a problem for me.) So $24 for just vanilla ACIII seems to be very meh.

Weirdness. Maybe some regional thing? Are you in the US? (I'm in the US, just thought you might be accessing from somewhere else)

If you need help, you can Paypal me the $12 and I'll gift you a copy.

Nah, Im in Dubai.

Thanks for the offer. Maybe I'll just wait till winter sale. I have too much backlog as it is.

Sounds like the sequel to Surgeon Simulator.

"Doctor, you stand here today charged with crimes against medicine. Prepare to stand... Organ Trial!"

Edit: RE6 or DMC? Both are $12 for me on GG and I might buy one but I'm not buying both.

A feel-good offshoot could be about the struggle to land your dream-job as an organist at the local church of Scientology.

You play as a psychiatrist.

Game mechanic: Glance at your watch every 5 minutes.

So am I missing something here with the DMC deal? Unless I've missed something, that's by far the best price I've seen it at, even before the 20% discount. I don't have the code for 20% off but man, I'm tempted to buy it at the roughly $15 it comes out to before discount. Any drawbacks to buying from the UK site?

Sounds like Bethesda is revealing the final DLC for Dishonored tomorrow

http://www.ign.com/articles/2013/07/15/bethesda-teases-more-dishonored-dlc

All the more reason for me to wait for it. I really prefer having complete games, so maybe once the last add-on pack is released there will be a deluxe edition and maybe even an MSRP cut.
That's what i'm waiting for too. I really want to play the game, but I have some other big games like Tomb Raider and Bioshock Infinite waiting in my backlog already so I'll wait just a little longer for the goty edition.

Pretty lackluster flash imo

Primal Carnage 50%

Crusader Kings 2 50%

Fear Franchise 75%

Unreal Tournament 2004 50%

Next vote between Roller Coaster Tycoon 3, Euro Truck 2, and Farming Sim 2013

There's the potential for a currency exchange fee from your bank if you buy it direct. Most people doing the UK site thing from the 'States use Blue Coins.

Of course, this assumes you have a Blue Coin stash to use. Luckily, if you have even a little in your account to cover the pennies, you can buy $15 worth of BC and not be stuck with leftovers.

I was planning to purchase something this sale using a credit card (I know, weird, right?). I have to use a new card, not the one I have saved with my Steam profile. I know people have been looked out of the market for adding funds to their Steam Wallet using a new payment method. Has anyone done this with a straight purchase and gotten the same result? I really don't want to be locked out while the sale is going on, but I don't have that credit card anymore and can't use it.

Why are the Primal Carnage devs allergic to 75% off?  Game is just not very good so 66% is not happening.  Defiance has been my only purchase so far this summer sale and I'll be happy if it remains that way.  I assume Incredipede at $1.99 will eventually find its way into the flash so I might have a hard time resisting that.

I hope crusader of kings 2 goes on sale for 75% before the end of the summer sale. The game of thrones mod, forgot the name looks awesome.
They updated it, it is 75%. That mod would be the one reason I would get CK2, but I can't justify $10 just for the mod, and some of the DLC is really useful for the mod as well.

Sorry, I mean Director's Edition. The new multi-platform edition will integrate previously released DLC as well as offer updated boss fights, altered combat, and “enhanced visuals,”
Oh wow i'll just wait for that version then to come out and go on sale. Thanks for the tip.

Yeah, I tried it during the free weekend and thought it was pretty bad, but I would've had trouble resisting at 75% off.

I'm also interested in Incredipede and that will be hard to resist as well.

CK2 + all of the older DLC _is_ 75% off during the current flash sale. It just took a few minutes to update the discount on the steam homepage.

I'm such a tard, I should know to wait a couple minutes, thank guys. Actually I don't want it just for the mod, but it makes me want it even more.

Just bought the Deus Ex Collection. My only complaint is that the collection does not come with DE:HR Augmented edition.

Does anyone know if the Directors Cut edition that is out on the WiiU that is coming out soon to PC will be a free or paid upgrade/dlc or do I have to buy a new standalone game?

You might wanna check under "Tools". When my friend bought it a while ago, he got the augmented extras from buying the collection.

I thought nothing of it before, looks interesting now. How many play this mod, I'd hate to get on this and find out not alot play it.

Haha, I meant that there really wasn't a big difference in graphic quality overall. FPS...pshh
Not a lot, if any, but you can still play normal maps and eras online just fine with the mod installed (you just aren't going to be able to use the added maps and KotOR era). The game is still awesome and active online, but you won't find anyone playing the KotOR stuff unless you specifically coordinate with a friend to both have that mod installed. That said, I have seen quite a few custom maps being played online, so there might be some common ones that a lot of people have. Not sure. In the end, it's still fun playing the KotOR stuff solo.

And I dunno man, I'll admit I'm the resident 60 FPS Nazi, but you really can't tell the difference? 30 FPS looks fine to me on a TV screen when I'm sitting on the couch (far away), but 30 FPS sitting a computer monitor is like stabbing my eyes with wana...

Well I played an hour of Organ Trial and I have no clue what the fuck I am doing in that game.
SUQnbjP.png

I built a new PC and am not looking forward to reinstalling and tweaking the mods for Elder Scrolls IV.

I do love how easy it is to move Steam game installs to a different place on the same PC or a different PC.
Yeah, I'm with you there. Bethesda games are difficult to mod, but Nexus Mod Manager is a godsend, and the results are so worth it.

I just spent like 5-6$ on dlc for Crusader Kings 2 and that was the -75% off price curse my need to own and buy dlc for games I like, at least I got it for 75% off I guess and not full price but still does that game have a lot of dlc or what; Paradox must be making a ton off of CK2 alone.

Don't know, most likely it will be a standalone.

KOTOR 1 & 2 were $2.49 each during the most recent winter sale.
Now that EA owns them, that might not happen again.

I have a weird thing to ask. Should I get Dust or should I get Castle Crashers?
I'd say Castle Crashers, since you can get it for more than 75% off in a group buy. Dust will get cheaper.

Nah, Im in Dubai.

keep-calm-and-enjoy-dubai-bitch.png

(Sorry, it's not every day someone says they're from Dubai.)

went ahead and voted for farming simulator,  so far none of my selections have won....  still can't believe I forgot about the name change for War Z

I generally don't push my opinion on others, but avoid F.3.A.R. like the plague. Game was outright horrible and extremely linear. That combined with the pop-up notifications you get when you do a killstreak or something of that nature makes me question what they were thinking when they made this game.
