So yeah, I'm reading a certain OTT bitch's blog, and shes really a fucking attention whore. I love it, i'm laughing so hard at her cries for attention. It's pathetic, really.
You know, I've never really understood why you keep throwing yourself back into these situations... I mean, if you didn't goad them so often I don't think you'd have the issues with Deadzone or JimmieMac that you tend to have.

I mean, really, whats the point in telling everyone about what deadzone is saying on her blog?
Man, the more that comes out about Bill Cosby drugging women, the more likely he did it. It's pretty sad.
 HUH!?
you gonna shank them prison style?
I'm going to cut out their eyes and skull fuck them.

For anyone else here who watches The Dead Zone, apparently they're FINALLY bringing back Dana Bright. That's gonna be awesome when she shows up again. I was so pissed off when they took her off the show, since I think she's got one of the best relationships with Johnny, and I enjoyed her on the show.
FUn wrestling fact. The Ultimate Warrior is the only wrester to ever defeat Hulk Hogan in the ring.

At leasts that what's someone who actually cares about wrestling once told me.
not sure if this has been addressed: flair, goldberg and sting(maybe savage and nash as well?) beat the huckster in the ring I remember about 20 years ago, andre the giant beat the huckster in the ring but it turned out the ref cheated? i am fuzzy on the details, but i know the eral ref was replaced by a lookalike ref and then andre beat the huckster and sold the belt to the million dollar man

(then the belt was taken from him before wrestlemania 4 and dibiase was supposed to win the tourney for the strap, but savage had it in his contract that he would in a belt at wm4 and that belt ended up being the world title)

In the WWF, i am pretty sure the rock beat the huckster as well,

i know the huckster put over the mountie(jacques rougou) at an indy event. Jacques rougou was usually part of the opening matches as part of the fabulous rogeou brothers and had good matches to get the crowd hot, and the huckster wanted to pay him back and this was one of the only times that the huckster did the job at an indy event.

i havent watched wrestling in 6 oir 7 years but somehow i remember all this nonsense
holy crap. do not go see batman begins....just dont.
Are you on the crack again? Batman Begins was great, probably the best out of all the Batman movies. Aside from the frenetic camera during the fights, it was really awesome.

I have to agree with Sweeney on this one. Why bring up the issues you'd rather not deal with, time and again?
Well, my last Thursday of work. I just want to be done with it.
Us too, because, honestly, I don't know how much more we can take you bitching and moaning about how much you hate your job.
Well, my last Thursday of work. I just want to be done with it.
And then what, a summer of doing nothing?
fuckin a right. Well, that and packing. and selling shit on ebay.
Sounds like a plan to me. That's right, you said you were moving.

Time to sell enough shit on eBay to cover the expense you and I were talking about earlier.

well the story didnt really go anywhere and was impossible to follow, the characterization was TERRIBLE and i didnt even know there was a main antagonist until the last 15 mins of the film!

It was supposed to inrtoduce Batman and explain how Bruce Wayne got to that point. I think that in this regard, it more than did its job. It wasn't about Batman vs a villian, necessarily. It was Bruce Wayne developing the Batman persona. The League of Shadows was the impetus for his transformation.
I remember that!
Yeah, let's see if I can remember it.

Captain Pl-an-et, he's our hero, gonna take pollution down to ze-ro
Gonna something-somthing-something, bad guys who like to.. loot and plunder
'You'll pay fer this, Cap-tain Pla-net!"

Damn hippy show, brainwashing our kids.

Well, in honor of this hot and humid day where I'm at, I present (by which I mean I repost from an Achewood extra feature) The Neapolitan Shooter. When done correctly, it looks just like Neapolitan ice cream in your glass. Perfect for wowing BBQ guests or just lazing in the sun, listening to a suitable musical choice, such as Daddy G.'s (from Massive Attack) DJ Kicks album.
Ingredients (chilled)

* Kahlua/Bailey’s/etc (1 part)
* Tequila Rose (bottled tequila/strawberry liqueur) (1 part)
* Heavy Cream (1 part)
* Coconut Rum (1/4 part)

1. Pour your coffee/chocolate liqueur into the bottom of a small glass.

2. Take a regular spoon and turn it upside down. Place the upside-down tip of it against the inside wall of the glass, very close to the brown liqueur which now rests in the glass. Pour the Tequila Rose very, very slowly down the back of the body of the spoon. You should see it spreading evenly across the top of the brown liqueur layer.

3. Repeat step (2) but with the cream, making it flow across the top of the pink liquid. The liquids should not commingle.

4. You now have three distinctly colored layers, and it is time to add the final flavor: coconut. Using the same spoon trick, pour the rum delicately into the concoction (since the rum is so thin, I used a bartender's bottle nozzle to slow its flow). It will slip neatly between the pink and white layers without disturbing them. Note: The coconut rum must be added at this step, and not any other.
It takes a little practice (unless you're already suitably bartendy) but the worst that can happen is you get a little toasted trying to perfect it.

understood, but shouldnt a movie about the origin of someone have good characterization? also i knew going in it wasnt batman vs badguy like the other movies have been, but thats all they reverted it to at the end...its like the writers were like "how do we end a film without the dead of an antagonist..?" (awkward scilence)

Battlefield 2 is based in the modern day. I only picked up MOH because it was hella cheap
Woo Hoo! My resting heart rate is fifty beats a minute.

I'm comin' at you President Bush!
I have no idea what that means.

Because I don't like to see Shrike cry, if you don't want to risk a potentional SPOILER please skip the following post.

Well, you can't end the movie with him walking into town and proclaiming, "I...am BATMAN!!!" then roll credits  And the battle with Raj was necessary because that was his defining moment in becoming Batman. The league attacked not only him in his home, but were going to destroy the city. Of course he has to do something. What else would close off the story better than facing the man who trained him and made him who he was? It makes sense to me.

As for characterization, I thought Micheal Caine, Gary Oldman and Morgan Freeman provided excellent turns as the key characters around Bruce Wayne/Batman. All of them had the right personality and look for the characters (though I do want to see more exploration of Sgt/Lt./Commish Gordon in the next movie. He can be a very complex and volatile character, and they should do something with that. Michael Caine's performance as Alfred was perfect, and I think the writers conveyed his sense of loyalty and humor very well. As for Christian Bale, he is Bruce Wayne. They couldn't have picked anyone better, and I feel they developed his character well. I think they did a good job of presenting who these characters were and gave us a good idea of how they were. Batman Begins is an introduction to a new series of films, and it explored Bruce Wayne's character and how he came to be the Batman, and I'm sure they will explore the other characters more in the coming movies.

Does it matter? As long as he follows through on it, I'm all for it

President Bush is probably the most physically fit man to ever hold the Presidency. His resting heart rate is 44 beats per minute. At his age that's increadibly good. I'm catching up though so when I'm president my resting heart rate will be 33. :p

Lets have a contest to see who has the most gigs of porn on their computer.
I'm gonna lose because I just dumped a bunch and am only left with like 600 megs.

Can we count porn burnt to DVD? Because I have, maybe, half a terrabyte right there.

:p (By the way, what happened to the razz smiley)

Here's an idea. Once you decide you need to put spoilers into a post, why not put a big SPOILERS and space it down a-aways, so that those of us that haven't seen it yet won't have it spoiled for us?  :bomb: :whistle2:#

Well, thinking requires more oxygen than any other activity. Remove that and your heart doesn't have to work very hard.

If you havent seen it yet, you're an idiot and deserve to have it spoiled

But I'll fix it just for you. But jeez, you see a post that big about the movie and you'd think not to read it...

Fine, I'm an idiot. So be it. Some of us might be a tiny bit too busy to go see it yet, yes.

I read it because I thought there was an intelligent point or two in there word reading. There was, mixed in with the spoilers.
