Eh, 40 minutes south. I'm there enough that you could call it my second home.

Know anything about CSU? I'm getting to the point where I need to start making some college decisions, and it's up there really high on my list, but the 2.3 GPA is a slight turn off. Despite what I've heard from some people, I really love the city and would like nothing more than to live there some day.

Which CSU?

Joe, how's your living situation with your relatives and shit? Did that ever get sorted out?

It's coming to a head, I think that everything has about reach as far and as absurd as it could have gone and hopefully it's going to be cooling down from now on.

Spoilers, because...it's a long one.

I reached a breaking point a while back with them, left them fend for themselves for a few weeks without my interference and watch the results.

The results were basically that Everyone in the house is now broke and are looking at everything of value as a source of money, leave so much as a DVD in that house, and it will probably end up in someone else's hands sold to them for 2 bucks. The $75,000 that my uncle was given after my aunts death, that I was managing until I gave up on them is now completely gone after only two weeks of not helping him manage it.

Thanks to the influx of money literally spilling out of my uncle's ass, because he refuses to use a wallet and keeps an upward of over $1200 dollars in his left sock while he walks around the house in his underwear. He is grossly un-healthy and constantly lethargic and weak, walking around the house sometimes practically naked, sleeping in a bedroom that is literally his toilet since he can almost barely control his bladder or bowel movements, his room is crusted in dried feces and uses his bundled up clothes in the corner to piss on whenever he feels like it, sometimes he randomly pisses somewhere in other parts of the house when he feels like it.

Drugs and alcohol in the house is most common now, I find discarded baggies of cocaine, PCP and copious amounts of baggies of marijuana, and mushroom stems that are bought with all the money my uncle gives my brother, his friends and the tenant's overly aggressive son. It's most common to see all of them in the house either under the influence of some drug, or sleeping for 16 hours on end. The amount of beer cans in the house is enough to give any hobo on the street a boner from the sheer stacks and stacks of empty beer cans in the house, the daily amount of beer consumed is probably 146 cans of beer, almost 30% of that being solely my uncle.

The amount of money that my brother, his friends and the tenants I have living there have stolen from my uncle is un-countable, but looking at the transaction records of my uncle being driven to the bank every 2 days for $2500 is any clue, it's clear to see how much is taken on a daily basis.

Secretly I have withdrawn the last remaining $25,000 from his account and transferred it over to a CD account in his daughters name. as far as he knows He's already run out of his money and everyone in the house is now calming down.

for the first time in months, they have actually started begging me for money again, and asking me to help them clean up. now that all of my uncle's money is spent and gone, maybe things will return to normal.

The funniest thing about all this, My brother recently bought a PS3 that he says he got from doing some gardening work for a friend (pure BS by the way, since my uncle seemed to be missing $900 the day he bought it) four controllers, 6 games and everything...and two days later has already sold it for drugs and beer.

I dont know what's going to happen next, but hopefull that the money is "gone" things might return to normal.

I'm trying to upgrade this phone to 3.0 but it keeps disconnecting halfway while I'm trying to make a backup in iTunes and I've tried everything.

I don't know much about CSU, but I can tell you a bit about the city itself.

Cleveland is a bit of an odd place. You've got Cleveland, and Cleveland Heights. Most of the people that claim they live in Cleveland actually live in Cleveland Heights. Most of Cleveland, at least the main area, is a really bad place to live (steel bars over windows, broken streets, etc.). However, the city definitely has its own flavor, a distinct attitude, and if you really like the place than the general poverty of the area shouldn't deter you from finding a nice neighborhood.

I'll check out that band, Liquid.

I visited last year during the NBA playoffs - caught game 6 of the Cavs/Celtics series, and Game 7 when they opened the stadium up to watch on the big screen. My dad ran the marathon that weekend and I ended up doing the 10K as well, so that was a good time. We stayed at the Renaissance hotel - I'm sure you're familiar with it, it's nice as hell. I love how everything just seems so close together.. The stadiums and rock and roll hall of fame.. IIRC the school is like a block away as well. The people seemed really awesome and layed back. It beat the hell out of New York for sure.

It was only like a weekend thing, but everything about it couldn't have been better. I didn't really run into the poverty and what not that people seem to hate about the area, and I'd like to take like a week or so out there and see what its really like, but I don't really think that would prevent me from finding a nice place like you said

My money has all been put into 5 different 12 and 24 month CD's with locked in Interest rates. The rest of his money as well was put into a CD for 2 Years.

I'm safe. I'm going to going back to school in August, getting my certificate and hopefully a long internship to a good restaraunt and maybe use that money someday to open my own restaurant or build my own house somewhere in San antonio.

That is soul-crushingly depressing man. His case sounds like that 0.05% of the time where an annuitized investment is the best option.
There's a dude that totally looks like a young Snoop Dig here at the theater. I tried to take a pic but he's too far.
East Cleveland = sketchy. The campus for CSU is down the street from the Hard Rock, and is in a pretty decent part of town, just try and stay out of anything further down near the Agora. Cleveland Heights/Ohio City is niiiiice though, friendly neighborhood and lots of cool little shops.

I don't know much about living arrangements in the area, but it's definitely commutable if you're staying south of the city in the Lakewood area. There's a bunch of nice schools over that way too, but if you're intent on CSU, you can get an apartment pretty cheap and if you've got a car, it's roughly 15 minutes into Cleveland and you're in a nicer neighborhood.

rabbitt, 40 minutes south puts you around...Akron/Canton area?

There was some ridiculous moments that I absolutely hated but they are minor in comparison to how awesome this movie was. They actually show robots fighting, unlike the first...Optimus vs Megatron, Starscream, & Blackout...that fight scene was epic...there are other good battles with Bumblebee and of course the final scene with Optimus, Megatron & The Fallen.
Thanks for all the well wishes. Mark your calender. July 21st. Fox 8pm. It's good shit.
Dang, I really thought you wouldn't make it. Well done.

I'm kinda pissed that I have to watch a cooking show now though, but here's hopin' you'll keep it fresh.

Obviously not...but they actually play a major role this time around.
