I did. And Yes, very much. It IS well worth the 1000 points.
I'm very disappointed in the "POST YOUR PICS ON YOUR MESSAGE BOARD!" because you can only choose ONE pic a day...How stupid is that!

Thanks for the reply--looks like I'll be picking this one up. If it's good, maybe high sales will encourage Nintendo to make a sequel for Wii.
 
Just downloaded Pokemon Snap. I actually had 3200 points, that was a nice surprise. I forgot I had bought 2 2000 point cards at TRU for $30. I hope they have another sale sometime, I'd like two more. I really want to try Sin and Punishment, but unless a big game comes out between now and then I won't be spending any Wii points so I'll have enough for Secret Santa.
 
Since this thread is more related to the entire channel---check your WiiWare guys. The Photo Channel 1.1 is up.
Not that it's a big deal, but still.
I do like how you can choose a picture to represent the photo channel on your main menu :)

Starting in January, I'm going to make a new thread and it's going to be a Wii Shop Channel thread, rather then JUST calling it a VC thread. This way, updates and WiiWare titles (and channels) can all go there and be discussed.

the difference is that in Baseball Stars 2, it has season and team management and player development..a la baseball stars 1. The Neo Geo Ver..is complete arcade. Just Solid Baseball and thats it.
 
Off Topic: If anyone is good with Photoshop/Paint.net and is feeling creative.. PM me. You will be a nice contribution to the next thread. Nothing big, as the things I have in mind could take someone an hour TOPS. All credit will be given to you. :)

So I put $10 on my VC account today to get Pokemon Snap...and for some reason I just couldn't do it. I wanted to, but I couldn't bring myself to spend the $10 on it.

Stupid question... so the Photo Channel doesn't play MP3s anymore. Does this change the functionality of, say, ExciteTruck at all?

I'm assuming not, but I figured it doesn't hurt to check.

No, because that would be an in-game decoder versus the channel itself.

so, does anyone want to be on my "Mailing list" for the daily Pokemon picture?! Today is day 3, and today's picture is of an ANGRY Jigglypuff (with a backup singer, woot!)
Yesterday's picture was of happy Squirtles to see an apple :)
Day before that, was Electrabuzz who had a little too much to drink.

Ok, I'll admit. This feature is kinda cool. The 1 a day is lame, but whatever.
Just lemme know if you don't mind getting a picture everyday. Really. :)

Go to Gallery on the main menu. Put a picture (up to 4) on that square of 4 pictures. Go to enlarge, pick a picture, then hit "-" on the remote. It'll be posted.

Go to the Operations Guide too, it's the 10th option. It explains posting.

Mega Man 2 (Nes) - 500 points
Top Hunter (Neo-Geo) - 900 points

And that's in addition to their special update on Tuesday with Pokemon Snap and the channel upgrades (gift + photo).

Here's a question; when are we going to start to get the Mega Man games? I know we have the collections here, but Capcom messed up the controls damnit.
 
Bought two Wii Points cards. Wii Shop was being terribly slow today, so all I bought was Super C and Eternal Champions.

Ohhhh god, such great memories. Espcially with Super C.

...Where the hell is the FIRST Contra, Nintendo/Konami?!

Europe also got Cybernator for SNES on Tuesday. They got 4 games this week :applause: Good for them.

Mega Man 2 will come. It's unknown WHY we get some of the games SO far apart. When Vegas Stakes was released, I believe it came out in Europe first..and that was in July or August. I figured "Oh, awesome. It'll be HERE soon!"..but..we got that 3 or 4 updates ago.

So we WILL get it..but...yeah. It could very well be this Monday...but then, it may be the second week in February. Sigh.

I've got 2800 points, and Im gonna buy pokemon snap, super metroid, and pokemon snap for my freind as a christmas present

Errr...if you have a DS, just buy Contra 4. Both of the old contra games are on there: Contra and Super C.
 
I can confirm 1 of Monday's game.
Monster Lair for the TGCD, 800 points.

Hopefully, along with Bubble Bobble or Mega Man 2.

EDIT: :rofl: So I played around with Hudson's Japanese site. It looks like Cho Aniki will coming to their VC this Tuesday!

Because there's close to 200 titles out now and there IS a pretty good amount of GOOD games to give as gifts.
PLUS we have say..another 4-5 years of VC releases.

So, soon :)
