The WRESTLEMANIA 24 Wrestling Thread! Wooooooooooooo!

Not open for further replies.
They've mentioned how long MVP's held the belt for weeks now, and they brought up both Punk and Morrison feuding over the ECW Title together, which is about I expected them to do.

The Impact game cover art looks good, and features some unintentional comedy with AJ doing a flying elbow drop to a standing Booker T (just like the Jarrett-Sting pic that's been out forever).

He is doing the job to Orton.
We'll all find on Sunday night just what the plans are, and I wasn't looking to get into a big argument over this - just trying to post as much rare-ish Flair stuff as I can.

No argument man. We're just talking wrestling. ;)
Ricky Reyes is back in ROH? Sweet. I really need to get back into them. Been a while though, Death Before Dishonor IV was the last even I saw, way back in the summer of ought six.
Ricky hasn't been in ROH since Jan 2007.

Alternative report for yesterday:

I'm about to bed down for the night, but I thought I'd just say, "WOW, what a show!" I was there live, and they put together a whale of a show. I personally LOVED the main event. I thought there was no way they were going to top Steen/Generico vs. Yoshino/Doi, but it ran pretty even with it (and in a lot ways surpassed it). The flipside to that is that in the tag team match, all four guys were fluid as can be and there was nothing that seemed awkward or out-of-place, so it had the advantage there. All I can say at this stage is "how can Stevens and Strong take even ONE chop tomorrow night after that brutal series of exchangeS!" Yes, I said plural "exchangES." I'm still marking for how they sold it as if they had chopped themselves out of breath and out of energy like two head-to-head boxers in the final round of a fight.

I am absolutely worn out and would type much more, but I figured most people are like me and love hearing about the shows they can't be there live for. I didn't read everything in the thread, but from what I saw the reports said the main event and the steenerico vs. dragon gate matches were the bomb, and I couldn't agree more. Plenty of other great action (BxB Hulk was smooth as heck tonight) and I saw what I would call one of the top three or four jawbreaker lariats I've seen from Nigel in the opener. It kinda hit me out of nowhere and it was stiff as all heck and everything was just perfectly timed on that spot.

I hope the crowd is hot tomorrow night. I hope they don't lose a lot to tomorrow's big schedule of events to TNA (I'm sure they have something going on) or WWE Hall of Fame. I think there were a lot of first timers experiencing ROH tonight, and so I'll say I think ROH just picked up a lot of new official fans after tonight. I sat directly in front of Erick Stevens' parents and a girl that knew him (sister? girlfriend? I don't know). At least I'm 90 percent sure they were his parents, or at least relatives.

Sorry if this is incoherent in any way, but I'm typing on my last cylinder here. Just wanted to throw a report out there to feed the hunger of people who might be interested. I love it when people get home from other shows that I can't be at.

WM predictions -
Bunny Mania - faces win

MITB - MVP is my pick since he's due for a big push in '08, although I could see Kennedy winning as well.

ECW title battle royal/match - Kane to win both

Show-Mayweather - Mayweather to win, as he's obviously not going to lose in a worked match that WWE is paying him millions to do

HHH/Orton/Cena - HHH gets another title win, Cena's WM winning streak gets killed, nixing a possible future streak vs. streak match against 'Taker

Edge/Taker - 'Taker wins and gets revenge on Edge for costing him the world title in May of '07.

Finlay/JBL - Tough call here, but I'll go with Finlay getting the win since he's a face, and him winning would allow JBL to issue a challenge for his specialty match - a bullrope match, at a later PPV.

Batista/Umaga - Batista wins this horribly-built battle for "brand supremacy".

Michaels/Flair - Flair goes down in the center of the ring to Sweet Chin Music. I wouldn't mind a Flair win leading to him stating that he can't have a match better than this, so he'll go out on top. No matter what they do, I expect the celebration to be epic. If they pull a TNA and cut TO THE BACK! immediately after the match ends, I'll be pissed.

I didn't enjoy the build of this show as much as WM 23's, but it's already set some records (like being the highest grossing event in the history of the Citrus Bowl), and the card looks fine. Edge-Taker should be fantastic, the triple threat should at least be very good given the men involved, Flair-Michaels has the potential to be excellent, and will likely have an unforgettable post-match celebration.

Bunnymania could be a disaster, but will be kept short, Show-Mayweather could be a disaster of epic proportions, but should at least be memorable, and it's no holds barred, so they'll have plenty of gimmicks available to at least prevent it from being boring. MITB looks good, although I hope it isn't as much of a spotfest as it was last year. Batista-Umaga also has the potential to be very good, as Batista's been on a roll this year as far as having good matches, and Umaga usually delivers on PPV, and I expect Finlay-JBL to be a physical, violent war. I hope all of the matches are given the time they need - if they are, then I can give WWE some slack for nixing the battle royal.
Edge/Taker - 'Taker wins and gets revenge on Edge for costing him the world title in May of '07.
Come to think of it, have they even brought up him losing the title last year to build up the match? All they have been promoting is both of their undefeated WM streaks.

Oh as for the last match of the night, although Flair's last match would make sense, it's not going to happen. The final match of the night will be the triple threat WWE title match. I'm guessing it's cause they don't want to make it that obvious that Flair is retiring.

They haven't brought up Edge's streak in a while - probably because someone realized that he'd lost at last year's MITB, and they've spent the past couple of weeks on SD mentioning that Edge cost 'Taker the title last year, including showing it in video packages.

Some more WM weekend news - http://www.wrestlingobserver.com/wo/news/headlines/default.asp?aID=22469

'Mania's being heavily papered for the first time since '93. TNA tried to commission a plane with a banner reading "Watch TNA Impact" to fly over the Citrus Bowl during 'Mania...despite the fact that it wouldn't be shown on camera. Robbie McCallister hasn't been fired yet, but he was told by WWE to leave immediately once he was shown on camera.

Another Flair match from Mid-South Wrestling, this time, it's Flair vs. Terry Taylor from 6-1-85 -

From a kayfabe standpoint that makes sense, but I think it's obvious enough to warrant giving Flair the main event out of respect. I don't know how anyone else feels, but, if I were in charge, I'd give Michaels and Flair the honor of closing the show out with class.

I just hope Mayweather/Big Show isn't the final match. Ugh, that's going to suck.

I can't see Flair losing Sunday. I think he will win because everyone expects him to lose. Then he will get a title shot against Orton for getting Orton to tap out on Monday. Then Orton will retire Flair and live up to the Legend Killer Moniker.

Orton ending Flair's career would not only work because he tapped to Flair on Monday, but he was also the first guy Flair beat in this "career threatening" angle, and of course, it works with his Legend Killer moniker.

I like the idea of Orton being the one to end his career since it would make sense for the reasons above, but I don't like it because Flair's final match being on Raw or at Backlash or something would be pretty lame. At the very least it should be Summerslam since it's the second biggest event of the year, but that would be stretching it out too much.

Now, the real reason I came here. What the fuck is up with the Hall of Fame? It was supposed to start an hour ago and the graphic on the streaming video still says "coming soon."

*Edit* - Literally right when I pushed submit, the video came on. Oh well.

*Edit 2* - awesome (Rock @ Hall of Fame spoilers)
The Rock is up first.

After a video package, Todd Grisham introduced The Rock who received a monster standing ovation. The crowd chanted "Please Come Back". Rock seemed genuinely moved and thanked everyone humbly before whipping out his trademark "Finally the Rock has come back to Orlando."

Rock said he wanted to congratulate all the new Hall of Famers tonight and seeing everyone tonight, shouting out Steve Austin. The crowd chanted "One More Match" at them. Rock asked the crowd if they wanted to see them wrestle one more time. Fans chanted "Austin-Rocky". Rock said he loved Austin and they headlined three Wrestlemanias. He told a story of them facing off in the ring at Wrestlemania and saying to Austin in the ring that they were going to make history ... so Austin punched him in the face and said "shut up".

Rock then pointed out a smiling Mick Foley. He said Foley was the only man who can use a sweaty sock to make Rock a better man. Foley whipped out a Socko drawn to wear a tuxedo.

Rock pointed out Coachman then said, "Awww no one cares about you". Rock pointed out Chris Jericho and said he can't believe Jericho is still talking about the night he beat Rock and Austin but its better than talking about the haircut that makes him look 12 years old.

Rock asked where Triple H was. He said HHH is so obsessed with winning the WWF...he corrected himself and said WWE title...then said somehow that makes Stephanie pregnant. They showed her in the front row.

Rock then said that other than going to Iraq this is the most special night of the year. He said that there's controversy because the military has a new torture technique...forcing insurgents to watch "The Marine". John Cena laughed and Rock said "Hey, I made Doom." He told Cena that he hasn't made it until a building chants "you suck" and Rock knows that better than anyone.

Rock then tricked Santino into trying to say his name and pulled out "it doesn't matter what your name is".

1) Go Shiozaki over Delirious via some kind of "suplex-chop combo"

2) YRR of Chasyn Rance, Kenny King and Sal Rinauro over Alex Payne, Dingo, and Bushwacker Luke

3)ROH World Tag Team Title Match (taped for Take No Prisoners PPV): Davey Richards and Rocky Romero over Ruckus and Jigsaw "lots of unique spots"

4)FIP World Title Match: Roderick Strong vs Erick Stevens ends in a No Contest They destroyed each other, after knocking out the ref a minute in, for 15 minutes extremely bloody, NRC ran in and shaved Stevens' head leaving him for dead.

Sweeney is out and calls Roderick a hothead. Rod takes the mic and says NRC is his group and they have no interest in Sweet and Sour Inc. Stevens is out and he brawls with Roderick around ringside. Rod's chest is bleeding. They both take out the ref. Low blow by Rod. At ringside now Rod puts a chair around Stevens' head and pushes him into the turnbuckle. Stevens is bleeding. Erick shoves Rod headfirst into a turnbuckle. Sets a chair up. Kobashi like chops by Erick. Rod is bleeding from the head now. ****ing brutal. Stevens bites Rod's head. Huge german on Roderick. Choo choo. Lariat. Rod is up and enziguri and a sick kick. Forearm exchange. Stiff. Rod kills Erick with a chair. NRC come out with clippers and cut off Erick's hair. About an 18 min brawl.

Roderick Strong vs. Erick Stevens ends in a no contest. Stevens needs help out. Crowd chants loudly for him.

The Age of the Fall of Jimmy Jacobs and Tyler Black
defeat Jay and Mark Briscoe. Mark does a Shooting Star Press onto everyone to start. Briscoes have a table. Jimmy and Mark fight near the bleachers (I'm guessing on a ladder ... Satan didn't specify) 15 feet up. Mark and Jimmy tease spots off of it. Mark misses a dive onto Tyler. HOLY ****! jay has Tyler in the ring. AOTF double team Jay in the corner. Jimmy hits a cannonball senton for two. Mark is still down. Falcon arrow by Jay on Jimmy for two. DVD on Tyler for two. AOTF hits a powerbomb contra code for two. Tyler goes up and Mark pushes him off. Doomsday Device countered into a End Time (guillotine choke). Jay taps at 15:06. Another awesome brawl.

Anyone else watching the Hall of Fame ceremony on WWE.com? Mae Young just came out.

EDIT: I missed The Rock? fuck. I thought he would be near the end, with them airing Rock's family's and Flair's inductions on USA.

No, they had the Rock go first so they could edit it for TV in a couple hours. The first one on the web broadcast was JBL inducting the Briscos.

Homicide, Hernandez, Low Ki (on crutches) and Johnny Devine are backstage at the show.

Best match so far is a tie between Strong vs. Stevens and Briscoes vs. AOTF. Also Satan said that this show is already better than last night in his opinion.

INTERMISSION

Kevin Steen & El Generico vs. Shingo & BxB Hulk starts the second half of the show.

Obviously the Rock speech was hacked into nothing to fit it in the time allotted, but it was still good. Oddly enough the main thing I took away from it was:

DAMN, Steph is sagging.

8) Dragon Gate Six Man: Masato Yoshino/Naruki Doi/Genki Horiguchi over CIMA/Ryo Saito/Dragon Kid "they did it again, what can I say". Match went 25:48, Dragon Kid took the pin.

The Santino/Rock stuff ruled, and Ata Johnson's speech gave me some tearful moments, as did Flair's actually. Good HoF TV show, and I look forward to watching the whole thing on DVD, although I hope they present the video in such a way that Eddie Graham's name isn't cropped out during the opening video package.

Quotes -
(Rock appears)Crowd - ROCK-Y! ROCK-Y! ONE MORE MATCH! ONE MORE MATCH!
Rock - Thank you, it’s an honor to be here tonight. Something’s missing… FINALLY, THE ROCK HAS COME BACK TO ORLANDO!
Crowd - ROCK-Y! ROCK-Y!
Rock - Thank you. It’s great to be here tonight. Congratulations to all the hall of fame inductees tonight, and on a personal note, it’s great to see so many smiling faces, like for example, Stone Cold Steve Austin. Speaking of smiling faces, where’s Mick Foley?! The Rock ‘n Sock Connection! Only in this business can a man who weighs 280 pounds get a sock out of his crotch area and make me a better man! You still got that sock!? You brought the sock? Well, I actually meant did you have it at home…you drew a tux on it… only Mick Foley. Love ya. JONATHAN COACHMAN, THE COACH! Nobody cares about you. CHRIS JERICHO, Y2J! How ya doing, I can’t believe you’re still talking about the night you beat myself and Stone Cold, but I guess it’s better than talking about the haircut that makes you look like a 12 year old boy. Nah, it’s good. I love the highlights, they look awesome. Yay, Backstreet Boys, coming back to Orlando! Speaking of hair, where’s HHH? I know he’s backstage getting ready to induct HHH. Here’s the thing with him, he’s so obsessed with winning the WWE Title that the mere thought of that made Stephanie McMahon pregnant! Congrats. The hall of fame is one of the most important nights for WWE, second only to entertaining the troops in Iraq. Unfortunately, there was a big controversy involving WWE and Iraq - they’d take insurgents and make them watch the DVD of “The Marine”. Hey, I made Doom. Is there Santano, San Francisco… (Santino stands and twirls)Wow, a faux-hawk AND a rat tail! What’s your name? IT DOESN’T MATTER WHAT YOUR NAME IS! Tonight, what matters is the WWE and the hall of fame inductees, because without them, there would be no WrestleMania and no WWE. Without the WWE, there would be no trail-blazing, eyebrow-raising, jabroni-beating, pie-eating, ready to induct my family into the hall of fame, THE ROCK! IF YA SMELL WHAT THE ROCK IS COOKIN!
Rock - I just want to take a moment to talk to you as a third generation wrestler who not only grew up in this business, but who loves this business. To be able to induct my father, and grandfather, it really brings my WWE career full circle. Let me start by saying one name - “Soul Man” Rocky Johnson!
It is my great honor to induct my father, Rocky Johnson!
Rock - The High Chief Peter Maivia was many things to many people, but to my family, he was everything. It was those images of my grandfather that we just saw that inspired me to become a professional wrestler - my father and grandfather were the corner stones of my career, and my goal was to make my family proud when I first stepped into a WWE ring in 1996. Grandpa, I hope I’ve made you proud, because I sure am so proud of you. To induct my grandfather into the hall of fame, please welcome the real rock, my mother, Ata Johnson.
Ata - Thank you, son. My father was a loving, generous man with a beautiful face. He always had a ukelele handy and loved to make people smile. He loved this business, but that’s a trait that is shared by his fellow wrestlers. You give your all to this business - that says a lot. I applaud you for your love to your chosen profession. We have lived and loved this wrestling business all of our lives - here we are, at the hall of fame. And dad, dad, as you look down from heaven, take your final bow - this is your big finish. So dad, with your warrior heart pumping and your spirit soaring - look at the crowd one last time. Dad, you are my champion, I love you.
HHH - What made Ric Flair was his passion - he lives, breathes, and sleeps this business. That passion has made him the greatest of all-time in the ring, on the mic, greatest father, husband, and friend. Sure, some things have changed. Now, when Ric’s in the hotel lobby naked, it’s because he can’t find his hotel room, he can’t see that he can’t see that he isn’t wearing a shirt, and forgot that he isn’t wearing pants. It’s been said that Ric is arguably the greatest of all time, and I’ve yet to see the argument against it - he is, was, and will always be THE MAN! The one, the only, NATURE BOY RIC FLAIR!
Flair - Thank you. Please sit down, I swear. Shortly after I started, 35 years ago, Ray Stevens told me “Baby, if there’s ever a day that you don’t have goosebumps, that’s the day you don’t need to walk through again” and I can truly say that I have them tonight. Tonight concludes a long journey that started 35 years ago in Minnesota. You have all decided to induct me, and that’s honor enough, but I do want to thank the people who got me here. It is an honor to be inducted with six incutees that I have great memories of. They all made great contributions and that’s why they’re here. Thank you. This is where it gets hard sometimes. It’s also an honor to be on stage in front of my peers. I’ve done something no one has done - be inducted while still active. For all three brands of the greatest wrestling company in the world, I want to thank. It’s been a very special time in my life for the past 7 years. It’s an honor to be inducted here in Orlando, the second home of space mountain. I’ve had many great matches here, from Eddie Graham’s building to the Amway Arena, to tomorrow, the Citrus Bowl. It was an honor to have my matches called by Gordon Solie. Pro wrestling is the greatest sport in the world. Everything I am today, everything I have today, is because of the sport of professional wrestling. I have been so very fortunate, to step into the ring with the best in the industry for the past 35 years. I hope the fans realize I gave it the best I could, whether there were 100 of you or 10,000 of you - I hope nobody ever went home mad spending their money to see Ric Flair. There are so many people that I owe so much too, some are no longer with us - they made me who I am, some took it for granted, some gave it their all each and - Shawn Michaels, you’re coming up, stay focused! HHH reminds me of myself more than anyone else. I wish I could turn back the clock and wrestle him in my prime. Shawn Michaels, Shawn told me he always wanted to be like me - he doesn’t have to, he just needs to be Shawn Michaels. He’s one of the greatest in history. My youngest son asked me if I could do a moonsault, and my oldest son, David, is his biggest fan, that’s when I knew he surpassed me. I’m very proud of this award, but I’m even more proud, and more thankful to have a wonderful family. I can’t believe this. My mom and dad, they’re both gone now, but their memories will never die. I may stand alone tonight, but I know they’re proud of me. My dad taught me that I could accomplish anything with effort, and my mother was an amazing woman who gave more than she got. They’d be proud to be here, but they’re in a better place. Thank you. My wife, Tiffany, my best friend, she inspires me daily in ways that no one has before. Throughout the ups and downs, she’s been there. She calls being married to me a mixed blessing - can you imagine that? No more naitching. My children, Megan, Reid, David, Ashley, are the true blessings of my life. I’m proud of them all. I consider myself the luckiest man alive to have something as special as them. They are now my heroes. I can’t credit for all of it, I had a lot of help. My first two wives, Leslie, with her, I was out of control, she made a wise decision. Beth spent 27 years with me, they both took great care of my life’s greatest blessings. As they’ve gotten older, I’ve worried that I wasn’t there for them - I apologize, no one loves their children more than I do. I leave knowing that my last match could be tomorrow, but that I’ll be performing in front of the most awesome crowd ever. I couldn’t be in the ring with a better opponent than Shawn Michaels - it’s a huge honor. Shawn wants me to a cut promo - he’s gonna say that to be the man, you gotta be the man. I wanna thank everyone who traveled here, but they’re winding me up. Thank you, thank you! WOOO!

I await the day Don West calls WWE a 'big fat doodiehead.' Which will probably be next week. :whistle2:#

Live reports from ROH Supercard of Honor 3:

got back from the show a lil bit ago and just thought i'd leave a few thoughts.

absolutely AMAZING show

-Rocky Romero's flip arm submission from the top rope blew my mind and should come out great on PPV

-Steven's/Strong was absolutely brutal, and the FIP love during the match was awesome

-Mr. Milo Beasley was a highlight of the weekend for everyone. I'd love to see him become a fixture in the AOTF

-AOTF v. Briscoes was great live, don't know how it will turn out on DVD. The superfly off the entrance(to the gymnasium) was absolutely nuts live. The finish was off the charts, IMO the best encounter from these teams.

-SHINGO/BxB Hulk v. Steenerico was MOTN IMO. incredible stuff.

-The Title match and the 6 man were both amazing. I don't know if either one is better than the previous contests, but both set themselves apart and should be well recieved. I do think the "please don't stop" and "MOTY" chants were a little forced, but a great contest none the less.

all that being said, of my 20 years of going to wrestling shows, I got say this was hands down the best show i have ever attended. Thank you Ring of Honor, and I can't wait for October.

Looks like I'm the third person to just get in from the show.

At the end of the 1st half, it wasn't even questionable for me: I said it was the best 1st half of an ROH I've ever seen live. I couldn't believe how stacked it was.

The 2nd half, I was expecting SOME sort of let-down, as if one match was going to be unable to live up to the hype or be a filler that was a little off the pace of the previous half of the show. I was wrong. Supercard of Honor III is the best ROH I've seen live.

Everyone seems confused by the AOTF/Aries segment. AOTF came out in order to speak face-to-face with Aries as opposed to hanging out in the rafters. He put the pressure on, as was reported, and then Lacey jumped in and demanded the mic, going a lot more aggressive with Aries than in the past. She told Aries to come with her and said for this one time, she'd let her actions speak louder than anyone else's words. Surprisingly (to Jimmy), Aries took her hand and headed toward the ring ropes, but Jimmy grabbed her by the arm with a pained look in his eye as if his "one true love" was leaving him. She reassured Jimmy as if to say it's only for the group and the betterment of the group, kissed Jimmy, and Jimmy nodded a little saddened in her direction to go ahead.

A couple of bad things have been said about the crowd. It's Orlando, so yeah, dueling chants and "this is awesome" stuff sucked. HOWEVER!!! ... THEY WERE HOT AS FIRECRACKERS THE WHOLE NIGHT! And that's a helluva a lot more than I can say for some of the shows I've been to as of late with disrepectful fans who try simply to put themselves over, heckle, and everything else. To me, those criticizing the Orlando crowd might be a little guilty of defending their own area's image a little too much. I'll agree that some of those chants sucked big time, but the crowd WAS respectful (except for a very small group in very limited displays who were just too stupid to know that) for the whole night. Nothing makes me madder than to get home from what I think is a good Chicago show or Detroit show or whatever and hear people complain about how long it was. The show started at 7:30 down here and ended at just a tad before 11:30 ... and like I said, the crowd was hot the WHOLE time. They have a lot to learn about ROH, yes. But there are a few things some of the crowds in the midwest could learn from Orlando this weekend. (But oh, how the "triple threat" chant made my blood boil with anger.) I'll forget about that though and trade it in for the electricity during the actual matches though. Not everything was as bad as it's being made out to be.

These matches were ridiculous levels of awesome, each in their own way. I love this card, and it's going to be difficult to surpass that any time soon.

OH, almost forgot! Something NOT reported was about the Strong vs. Stevens fiasco. Last night, I wrote about how in awe I was of the chop exchanges between those two. Well, the effects of that ran its course early in the match. Stevens was NOT in fact the first to bleed, because Strong was opened up FROM THE CHEST in the first two minutes. Not just a trickle in one spot. His chest was bleeding from both pecs. I've ALWAYS said Strong is the most underrated SOB in the "toughness" category on the whole roster, but I want to make sure that I give props to Erick Stevens, because that guy is easily equal to Roderick in that area. It's a shame a ref didn't come in to make it a decisive finish with a winner, because I really really wanted to be able to call that the most brutal match with limited "weapons" (one chair was used) I've ever seen (live or otherwise). But, for storytelling purposes, it was perfect in every way, regardless of whether or not it was a "match" or not. I will freely admit that I marked like a *insert biggest mark analogy you can think of here* during Strong versus Stevens.

--
Stong/Stevens was amazing. I got a whole new respect for Rodrick. I could live without the other members of NRC though. Especially Romero.

Maybe I was a little too negative in the first post but this show was amazing. Every match, even the second one was good to outstanding. The biggest revelation I got out of these past two nights as a first time viewers is just how balls to the wall intense ROH is live. Everybody on that roster gave everything both nights to entertain. From Sugarfoot all the way to Nigel. And ROH seems to be a fan friendly promotion. The head guy, Cary Silkin I think his name is was out in the crowd and at the door at the end shaking everyone's hand and saying thanks for coming to the show. That impressed me.

As for the crowd, I agree they were hot all night long. 95% of the crowd was great. It's just I was sitting with the 5% that were douche bags or kids that annoyed the hell out of me.

And I really wish ROH would pick a different building. That rec Center is awful and has to be a fire hazzard.

RODERICK STRONG'S BUSTED OPEN AND BLOODY CHEST!
TNA flying an plane over the Citrus Bowl..... I'm sorry but..... yeah I know its the biggest wrestling event of the year and all. But TNA needs to grow the fuck up. Between this and the whole Robbie situation TNA is really showing some immaturity this week.
on Impact they showed a closeup and did a nameplate for Robbie from the Highlanders, who was in the crowd, covering his face.

lol it looks like kurt just nailed sting in the nuts with his elbow. Hopefully that will be the final packing. I would try to buy the box on ebay just for how funny it looks

ok, so did anyone else notice cenas swollen eye during the HOF last night? from certain angles it didnt look bad, but at other times you could definitely tell that his right eye was partially swollen

Rock and Cena had a backstage fight.
I think you'll all get a kick out of this: Orlando lays the smackdown on male nipples in WM posters.
I wants mah male nipples!

I couldn't believe that when I heard about it. You'd think if there was one guy who would have enough sense to refrain from something like this (especially since he has the most to lose) it would be Dwayne.

Cena had it coming though. Especially since he bashed the hell out of The Rock in a interview for getting out of wrestling.
