That little girl still looks pissed.
I'd like to help but I've only fixed a ___sung. zew or maybe music should know, though.
I send music a PM. I think I know what to do, but I'm just confused at this point. I've been having hella problems.

I'm getting too old for video games. I just played a little bit of Rock Band and my whole body is sore and my vision is all blurry. :oldman:
Nah, dcfox, the problem is you're just playing shitty games. I mean, Rock Band? Oh Gawd.
You're right. I think I'm going to quit playing it.
That movie wasn't even that bad, it was just really corny. :whistle2:|
The comic is way better.

The film should have followed it more closely. Despite that, it wasn't bad, but I would have enjoyed it more had I not read the book first.
Does your knowledge of tennis rackets carry over to raquetball rackets, Moxio?
You bet your hairy, Persian ass it does.

Persian? Gross. :/

Recommend me a raquetball raquet that won't break my wallet, Pakistani.
And can you give me a run down of what one should look for in a racket?

Pakistani? *shudders*

To be honest, racquetball rackets aren't quite as complicated as tennis rackets, and therefore are usually not as expensive; it isn't really necessary to get an expensive one either. How much are you looking to spend?

Does anyone know what the best way is to convert an mp3 to a wav file? Can WMP11 or winamp do it?
Sigh @ having to write an essay on Star Wars.
:whistle2:k

I can't imagine why you'd need to do that.

iTunes?

It's for my Contemporary Lit class, where we basically watch movies then write some short essay on them. Nice and easy. I have to write like 500 words on the religious and political themes of the original trilogy.

I only play 2-3 times per week, and for an hour each time, and with friends, so it's not super competitive or anything.
It's just that the rackets that we can check out from the gym are terrible (even I can tell that).

And what should one look for in a good racket?
Does anyone know what the best way is to convert an mp3 to a wav file? Can WMP11 or winamp do it?
Transcoding is for losers. You want to go from a lossy to a lossless format, which means your new lossless file will be fundamentally flawed.

Don't do it.

Yeah, I think over the course of the year we're reading like 7 books.

On the plus side, two of them are Brave New World and 1984. I always wanted to read Brave New World, and I got like half way through 1984 and put it down like a year ago.

We read Wizard of Oz. Boring as shit.

For a beginner's racket, specs aren't important. I'd recommend going to a sports store (Sports Authority, Big 5, Dick's, etc) and checking out the rackets and evaluating the feel and sturdiness.

Like I said, racquetball rackets aren't as complicated as tennis rackets. Tennis rackets have very varying head sizes (area of string in in.^2), whereas racquetball rackets generally have the same headsize, etc. You're probably not familiar with string tension and racket balance (head-heavy, head-light) so I wouldn't worry too much about that. Just go find a racket in person and get a feel for some. A solid beginner's racket shouldn't be too expensive; you can probably find a solid one on sale for $50 or even less.
I like how your "Contemporary Literature" class has nothing to do with literature.

High schools are terrible.
Well as a follow up they could always read the expanded universe Star Wars novels. Then you would have your literature tie in.

There are quite a few good American "Contemporary" Novels, my favorite would have to be All The Kings Men by Robert Penn Warren.

Damn...

They blacked out the 1/2 lb cheesy bean&rice burrito from the value menu.

I ordered 2 of them and they made em, but they're phasing them out

Alrighty.

They're likely studying Star Wars because there aren't many contemporary mythological writings.
