Based off the top ratings from gamerankings.com. I put together a top 10 list of Xbox 360 games ive never played. Now i had a few rules to go by.

- No Sports games
- Limit a franchise to one game per list. (no L4D and L4D2 in the same list)
- No XBLA games
- No Games released this year (Beyonetta, ME2, BBC2)

So after playing 52 xbox 360 games, here is my list of the top ones i havent played yet.... and feel free to post yours. Click the link at the top to get the all time top rated games for Xbox 360.

Out of all these games i intend on playing Fallout 3 (when GOTY is cheaper), Batman AA, and Fable II. The rest dont really interest me that much.

1 and 2 are both great games I'm sure, but I got my 360 after they were released, and played their sequels first. It's hard to backtrack, especially when the multiplayer is a huge part of both of them, and none of my friends are playing those two online anymore. I'll get them eventually though. For now, only really interested in Assassin's Creed II.

John, Fallout 3 is perhaps the best single player game of this generation. Batman and Mass Effect are great as well. The Orange Box, well... just download Portal. The rest is meh.

I think The Orange Box is a must own. Team Fortress 2 and Half-Life 2 are both fun to play. I haven't got around to playing HL2 ep 1 and 2 yet, but I'm sure they will be just as good as HL2.
 
Depends on the price point, I guess. Half-Life 2 is okay, but Team Fortress 2 on the 360 is atrocious. I've maybe completed 2-3 games total, and they were very laggy. All other games have ended in disconnects. Plus the game's not very fun to begin with.

(not in any ranked order, numbered simply for convenience)

1) Bioshock (own, never opened)
2) Mass Effect (Day 1 purchase, still sealed)
3) Burnout Paradis (bought twice and traded-in for more credit)
4) Rainbow Six: Vegas (bought twice and traded-in for less credit)
5) Mirror's Edge (bought Day 1 for the pre-order messenger bag, returned a few days later)
6) Dead Space (a recent cheap addition to the backlog)
7) Saints Row 2 (a cheap addition to the backlog)
8) Prince of Persia (a cheap addition to the backlog)
9) Fallout 3 (never owned, the massive length is daunting)
10) Halo 3 (I have absolutely no interest in the game)

But yet I've found a way to play AC2, MW2, Bayonetta, and Darksiders to name a few recent ones.

I could have listed the first 10 but I have have played bits and pieces of quite a few games and honestly, NOTHING on this list interests me. I have played a bit of Mass Effect but plan on going back. Gaming has been hard for me this generation. Literally the only 2 games I think I have played through are Fable II and Fallout 3. Rest have just been bits here and there. I really want to go back and give Mass Effect a shot again.

Agreed. You will be saying Goodbye to life. CivRev, Fallout 3 and Fable II are my best games in regards to new systems. MLB The Show also if you are in to sports.

Hmmn...sticking to the OP's rules:

1. GTA IV - Got bored of GTA III too easily.
2. CoD 4 - Zero interest in this or any of the CoD games.
3. TES: Oblivion - Not a big fan of FP RPGs.
4. Halo 3 - Finished Halo 1, got bored of Halo 2.
5. SFIV - Soul Calibur IV took care of my (limited) fighting needs.
6. Gears 2 - Have #1. Will probably pick up #2 when I see it really cheap.
7. Fallout 3 - See TES: Oblivion.
8. Forza 3 - I get bored of driving games too easily.
9. Rock Band 2 - Have #1.
10. Batman: AA - Played the demo, seemed pretty generic.

For everyone that keeps listing Orange box, I would get that and play Portal, the rest of orange box may or may not catch your interest, but Portal is well worth the time put in, and it short, maybe 5 hours? I think shorter actually.
 
I'm gonna post, but some of these I have played and just didn't finish. If I didn't get very far and plan on finishing, I'll put it on the list. Other games(such as GTA4) I bought, played a bit, but just didn't like. So those will be excluded.
Also, I am going by Metacritic, not Gamerankings. Just a personal preference

10-Rainbow Six Vegas(Was more into Gears when this came out. Moved to COD4, then got into Vegas 2. Going backwards was difficult, but I still want to complete this game someday, especially since it is now cheap.)
9-Dead Space(Started it, thought it was ok, but something else soon jumped to the top of my list to play)
8-GRAW(Never tried it)
7-Assassin's Creed 2(AC1 is on my backlog, and I won't touch 2 until I'm through with 1)
6-Batman: Arkham Asylum(Got 30-50% through this on PS3, then mine died. Now it's on 360 backlog)
5-Gears of War 2(Played the pants off Gears 1 single player and online. Just never got motivated to play Gears 2, even though I have the CE sitting around)
4-Fallout 3(Got into this more than Oblivion, but same concept. See below)
3-Oblivion(Got out of the sewer, saw the huge world, and it blew my mind. Sold the game because I knew I was too busy to get hooked on it)
2-Mass Effect 1&2(Started both, maybe half way through ME1, barely into 2)
1-Orange Box(Started HL2, played the crap out of TF2 and Portal though)

FWIW, I finished the story and all the side quests in a little over 24 hours. GTA IV took me longer than that.
 
Following given rules, but also leaving out Guitar Hero/Rock Band/etc. games. Not that I dislike them, I'm just too poor (cheap) to buy the controller needed for them.

The online for SFIV was very good other than I hated how it wouldn't take someone off your list when you searched if you couldn't join their game. Otherwise the net code seemed very good.

Most of the reasons have been due to just being flat broke and not being able to afford them when they came out. Some I just never saw a reason to buy. Case in point, Halo 3 ODST. It was never worth the $60 price tag from what I saw. It was basically what would equate an expansion pack. I never cared for Halo, either and Halo 3 was nothing special either.

Games like Soul Calibur IV and BlazBlue caught my interest, but I always remembered that I generally sucked at fighting games and had a tendency to buy fighting games, get my ass kicked and stop playing all together. Also, SCIII left a bad taste in my mouth with its save file corruptions and hearing about how the character customization was in SCIV, I wasn't too thrilled. BB had the unfortunateness of coming out when KoF and SF were making come backs, making it hard to pick a game. Especially worse when Marvel vs Capcom 2 was being made available again and Tatsunoko vs Capcom was on the way.

Fable II and Dead Space were on the hype trains that mainly just passed by me. Rock Band I skipped all together. Didn't have the money for extra equipment...and it doesn't help I don't have friends to hang out with to fully enjoy the game. So there went that. Plus I was never good at the recent music rhythm games.

Batman and Fallout 3 passed me by as I've been broke. Everytime an opportunity rolled by was when I was pinching every penny the most (such as Steam's sale during Christmas and the somewhat recent Batman sale, or GameStop's current Game Days price on F3). I will get those games sooner or later!


I excluded games I have played on other platforms, like Left 4 Dead 2 and Borderlands, which were on PC.

As you can see I'm not missing out on a whole lot at the moment. The only ones on the list I'm even interested in are 1,5,6,7 and 10.
