Got a R-Zone holiday gift guide in the mail today. A couple of good coupns in there:

Save $10 on Sega 2 packs

$10 off an Nintendo purchase $100 or more

Save $5 off any Disney Video Game

The most interesting is one that is $10 off any two Video games $19.99 or LESS. Obviously a misprint but it will be interesting to see if they will honor it. Probably not.

Anyone else get these? The coupons are good starting Dec 3rd

i didnt have any green tags games but i had only 5 games, so for the 5th game mafia i was charged its fulll $7.48 w/o any discount off it...for the 2 games that were not 19.99, i was only discounted 5 off each, not $10 off each...i plan to go back and return them tomorrow...i'll try to return fatal frame 2 and re-buy it, adding other games too

It didn't take off the discount for Mafia because you got an odd number of games. You need to get an even amount. Also, you get $10 off 2 games TOTAL (meaning $5 off each one). You do not get $10 off each one, that would be insane. Only thing you should return is Mafia, then make sure you buy in pairs next time.

I'm looking at it right now... I haven't had a chance to open it yet. It has a red tag stating "$13.98", but it rang up as $6.48 on the receipt, and then the coupon knocked off $4.81, making it $1.67. Unfortunately, this was the only one that my TRU had, and boy, did I have to search for it!!!

Just came from a TRU trip and had one green tag game out of four.

The coupon didn't kick in for the green tag game, which knocked out the use on the other game that would've been its pair.

I had to have the sales rep add it back in manually at the end of the transaction.

I haven't had any issues doing this until after the green tag games went to 70% this week. Before then, no problems at all.

FYI for you all that go, check your receipt before you leave the store, if you're buying any green tag games on it. There's no reason it shouldn't work, as the coupon says it'll be combinable with other offers, so keep that in mind if it doesn't work with green tag games on your purchase.

I GOT SAME problem today..yesterday i bought 40copies 70% games.. each 0$.. today when i was same TRU same casher he said "its doesn't work ..70% off + coupon combo" he said "i dont know what happen.." cuz he remember me ...he gave me 40copies 0$ games yesterday night.. i thought they stopped this promo...
also i gave him my receipt..he called manager
he put in the code then he said doest work...

Have them show you where it's not supposed to work with the green tag games.

The coupon says it's combinable with other offers, so it will work with the green tag games. I'm thinking that when they changed over the green tag games to be 70%, they locked out use of that coupon with it. The six or so times I've used the coupon when the green tag games were 50% off, it worked without a single issue. The two times I've used it since they went 70%, Tuesday and today, it didn't work and I had to have customer service fix it.

The damn thing ends tomorrow, why should they be jackasses about it and cut it out for being used with the green tag games? I thought the whole purpose of the green tags was to shift it out of the store, at 70% off with +$5 more off on it, it should be flying out the door, shouldn't it?
 
Can someone direct me toward that printable page with the upc's for the TRU games....nothing's labeled at my sorry excuse for a TRU so that would be really helpful. Searched through all friggin 10 of these TRU threads but couldn't find the page.

Just got back from my TRU in southern CA. None of the games there are free. I got 2 copies of RECVX on ps2 for $6.45 after the $10 off coupon, which is not that bad but I hope they are free. Thanks guys.
 
So how does the trade in at Gamerush (blockbuster) or EBGames B&M works (how many games do I need to trade in, should the games for trade in be new or used and how much can I get for RECVX)? Can I trade in my brand new Resident Evil Code: Veronica X for PS2 for a brand new Shadow Hearts: Covenant?
 
the coupon i printed out dont work at the place i went to. the lady said it suppose to be a coupon from a booklet. i told her i printed out from the internet and she dont care. so they accept original copy. i bought samurai warriors for 13.98, siren 14.98.

They had a lot of Turok for Xbox but I passed even though it would have been for free. Anyway, I used the actual coupon. I'm thinking of trying again with a printed coupon. Anyone interested in me getting a $10 copy of La Pucelle Tactics for them. They have 3 copies left so PM me by tonight because I'm going again tomorrow morning.
 
All the SF CAGs - I think they've restocked the shelves. This time there is a ton of games, mostly for XBox. Here's some of the deals I got tonight:

there were 3 copies of DMC left, about 5-10 copies of XIII, Hitman 2, and Castlevania.

Now I have to decide if I want to keep all of them or get credit at EB and get one of the newer games. Can't decide.

Yeah, I was really nervous using the coupon because I wasn't sure if it was going to combine with the buy 2 $19.99 for $30 deal. But it did and I got La Pucelle for $10. I'm going back tomorrow to take one final look around and pickup a $2 copy of Midnight Creatures (PS1) for free along with Turok. I think there were some old SEGA 2K3 sports game that are 70% off too.
 
I went again and got 8 games for a total of $51... no problems inputting the sku manually... I got (all PS2):

I loved Turok 2 on the N64 . . . I also had a lot of free rentals from Blockbuster a few years ago . . . I rented Turok (PS2) when it was released.

One of the worst games I've ever played. Honestly, for free, you've got an extra DVD case.
 
Turok is quite terrible. I usually try to enjoy games for what they are, at least appreciate to a certain point the work put into it but yea..Turok blows hard. Another one for the collection I guess. My bro did enjoy it because of how horrible it is.

XIII on the other hand is a solid game. Haven't played the story mode much but from what I played I liked it. Multiplayer was really fun.
 
I wonder what the Augusta Mall TRU will have when I go there tomorrow with coupon in tow... they have the slips of paper but I'm going to head to the bulletproof area and see what I can find on display and see if they can come up with a slip for them to scan...

Hey, if you head down I-20 from ATL to augusta, hit up the TRU at stonecrest mall - they had a shit-ton of most of the clearance games when I was there today. They didn't even bat an eye when i flashed that magic coupon!

I've been to the Monroeville TRU and got Mafia, Tenchu and Bloodrayne. They should have copies of all. Especially Bloodrayne.

Also, they have the Manhunt Guide on an endcap for .01. Manhunt XBOX is around $18. But with the coupon you could get a little Manhunt bundle (Game and Guide) for like $10. Not bad.

They also have a clearance rack too. Check those games out as well.

Remove the trailing forward slash and it'll come up.
 
Would this work on doubles of games? Lets say I got two copies of Beyond Good and Evil, would the coupon work? I read through most of the thread but it was not too clear as to whether or not it would work. Thanks.

yes, it works on just about anything. doubles, quadruples, etc. go for it while you can!!!

BTW, to you ATL CAGs - the Stonecrest Mall TRU has 11 PSOne LCD screens left at around $24. I bought 3, and left the other 11 for you others. they are not out - you have to ask the Rzone guy to get you one from the storeroom.
